The Farmhouse at Mountain View Acres sits on 20 acres with beautiful mountain views. Serene setting. Enjoy an open floor plan great for large families. Outdoor fire pit, game room for kids and exercise room. Our farm has many animals to see.. There are cows, goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens, and rabbits. We love to share our furry pets with our guests!
Close to Hendersonville, Arden, and downtown Flat Rock. Less than a 40 minute drive to Asheville. Come visit the Biltmore house, check out the local breweries, see one of the nearby beautiful waterfalls, hike, go tubing, ziplining, or just take a drive on the gorgeous Blue Ridge Parkway. So many things to do and see nearby.

The Farmhouse fit our family perfectly and provided a great place to reconnect with our kids and grandkids. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas! Our grandchildren loved the animals - they chased the chickens, fed the donkeys and cows and even got to see Roberta the duck. The game room was also a big hit!

We were only in for the weekend and we really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse. We wish we had more time to spend there. The home had everything we needed and more. The mountain views from the sun room were amazing. We had a nice walk and checked out the animals. The game room was fun. We even did 2 of the puzzles that were available. We would definitely go back

We enjoyed our stay so much. Three sisters, our daughters & two grandsons. The house & amenities were great. We all loved the farm animals. We look forward to coming again. The host & properties are highly recommended.

Relaxed family getaway

The house was spacious with plenty of room for a family gathering. We particularly enjoyed the game room, the outdoor space, basketball hoops and the farm animals (especially Max the cat who was very tolerant of our granddaughter).

For a girls weekend celebrating our friends 40th birthday, this place was perfect. We couldn't ask for a better place or better hosts. Even while out of town they were extremely responsive to questions we had about animals and the house. It was clean, friendly, and a beautiful property. We had a lot of fun in Hendersonville, but had the most fun on the property. We were also happy to see that there were other buildings available for future vacations.

Great place to stay

This place was so pretty and the house was large for our group of 10. Very great price for such a nice place. Enjoyed getting to see the goats, cows, chickens,and ducks. Also had a game room which the kids loved.

Flat Rock

Beautiful place to stay! Ray and Shannon are wonderful hosts with so many lodging options. The Farmhouse was a Great house with great views! This is the place to go to keep a lot of people under one roof, from infants to adults. With all the cabins, and even camping it’s the place that has something for everyone, no matter what you’re looking for. From Getaways, to hideaways, to get togethers. It was fun to hand feed all the farm animals. We rented the pavilion which was perfect for gathering family from all over to celebrate Granny’s 80th birthday. But I can see where this place would be absolutely perfect for a wedding. If I was looking for a wedding venue I would book this place immediately. The sunsets behind the rolling hills make for a picture perfect backdrop for any and every occasion. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Recent Family Gathering

This was an idyllic place for our family to gather for a memorial. We woke up to beautiful vistas each morning. Additionally, the spacious house allowed us to invite the whole extended family for dinner and fellowship. Our grandsons (5, 3 & 1) had a blast watching and feeding the animals and running around the property. Ray and Shannon were the perfect hosts. I recommend The Farmhouse for anyone looking for a family retreat.

Lovely getaway

When I think about a property that meets needs for 3 generations in my family, this place stands out! Beautiful Mountain Views, plenty of sports and games for kids on site, and so many things close by to explore. A real treat was getting to feed the farm animals and the amazing hospitality from Ray and Shannon. Highly recommend for families who have kids!!

Family Vacation

The Farmhouse was decorated beautifully. We loved that it was still decorated for Christmas when we got there on December 30. We all enjoyed the game room, petting and feeding the animals, and fire pit . We hiked to the Greenn River. Beautiful views.

Just What We Needed!

The property was just about perfect for our family of four. Great size. It can easily accommodate more without getting cramped, butfor our needs just great. Location is excellent, really close to amenities but feels very remote and out of the way. Our youngest loved feeding the animals and especially playing with the cats. Very pet friendly (for their permitted sizes). Just a lovely stay on a lovely property, close to lots of activities if you are so minded, or a perfect place to just hang out with family and relax. We came home refreshed and recharged! Lovely hosts, very easy to communicate with and friendly.

Beautiful Mountain Views

Communication with the homeowners was quick and easy. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the upstairs balcony and walking the trail on the property. It was fun seeing the animals and making s‘mores in the fire pit. Local sightseeing we enjoyed: Pearson Falls in Saluda, downtown Hendersonville and Falls Park on the Reedy in Greenville, SC. We enjoyed our Spring Break in the mountains, thank you!

Better than hoped for...

I read the description of the property and had an idea of what it might be like. But getting to experience the house and unique features like the animals, hiking trail, game room, and spacious views made me go, "Wow". This was a great place for my family of 6 and my wife's sister's family of 5 with young children to stay and have a great time of exploration and relaxation. I could see this place also be great for teenagers, especially with the trail and game room. The host was very communicative and pleasant. Hopefully we can make this an annual trip!

We will be back!

My family goes to Hendersonville (and surrouding areas) atleast once a year. This was our first time staying at the farm house and we will definitely be back. The kids loved being able to see and pet the animals, especially Robert the duck. It was nice to be able to let the kids roam free a little and enjoy the beautiful property. Highly recommend to families or groups of all ages. We also took the kids ziplining at Canopy ridge farm which is a must! (Ages 6, 10, 10) and dont forget to visit Grand dads apple farm and get the apple turnovers

Fabulous time!

The Farmhouse was just the perfect place for us to stay near Hendersonville. 5 adults and 2 children, ages 5&6 and a dog Plenty of room for sleeping, playing games and family meals. Location is perfect for several short hikes, wineries, gem mining and good restaurants. The grandkids loved the farm animals, feeding the donkeys, cows and ducks and snuggling with the rabbit and kittens. The game room and pavilion were also awesome spaces we enjoyed. Shannon and Ray were so responsive. House clean and well stocked. Check in and check out a breeze. Did not want to go home!! We will be back!!

Loved our stay!

Our three generations were very comfortable here. The boys enjoyed the game room and the animals. House was lovely and well stocked. Hosts very helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to come back.

beautiful and quiet

We really enjoyed our stay. Owner was very easy to contact and very responsive to any questions. We're a family with 5 children and had enough beds. Master bedroom is upstairs and has a crib if needed. Beautiful views and quiet walks.

We have always wanted a piece of land where we could have space to roam, farm, let our kids run and play, and be able to have many animals. Our property at Mountain View Acres has provided this for us and we love sharing with our guests. We have 6 kids. 4 boys and 2 girls. We love our large farm and are blessed to finally be in our happy place!

Mountain View Acres is a great place to relax, play some games in our game room, and enjoy family and friends. You can take a walk on our trail through the woods, enjoy a campfire in the backyard at the fire pit, take a walk up the driveway to the pasture and enjoy feeding and petting our farm friends, or venture out and explore the nearby waterfalls, many apple orchards, restaurants, breweries, shopping, and much more!
