Great for families

Great communication with owner. Easy check in and out. Good location, only 5 miles from the beach. Great house for families - 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry :)

Convenient location

Fantastic location near Walmart and communication with the property manager was great. The use of the keypad made it simple. Would recommend this place for the price. . Be sure to visit Lickety Split Cafe for their homemade icecream when you stay!!

Great Vacation Home

Great value for the money. Property is spacious than I anticipated. Location is also good in close proximity to shopping and short drive to the beaches. Checking in/out and communication with property owner was smooth. Home is well furnished and have all the utensils for cooking at home. Overall it is a great vacation home. Not able to think of any suggestions for improvement at this time.

Thank you Durga. I did try to post a review for you but the site was having issues. I am going to contact VRBO and see if they will do anything about it. I would have giving you 5 stars as well. Thank you for following all the house rules and leaving the place clean when you left. I would definitely love to have you guys back in the future!!

The place was not suitable to live in. It was absolutely filthy and I do mean filthy. Hired someone to clean it for us. Had to buy an extension cord to use the washer. Oven and freezer did not work. Dog hairs all over the mattress in 2nd bedroom. Rip in the recliner seat. Exhaust fans did not work. Ceiling fans did not work. Some of the overhead lights did not work. The sliding glass door was broken and had holes where geikos came into the place several times. We wanted to move but vrbo said no. We were told that dirt was a minor complaint and they would not move us. We did receive our cleaning fee back so that was acceptable. I would never recommend this place for anyone. I never met the host and just dealt with her via a text or an email. She did get the oven fixed promptly but the freezer didn't get fixed until 3 days before we left probably waiting on a part so not her fault. It was a horrible experience and most people would have left as soon as they walked into the place. We made the most out of a very bad situation.

After the guest's complaint, we offered to replace all bedding sets, but she declined. We then refunded her the cleaning fee. The refrigerator was working fine when she worked in, and stopped working in the middle of her stay, we immediately sent the service guy there the next day, but had to wait for the part. We also switched to a professional cleaning crew. She does amazing work. Come back to check.

A quiet oasis

This place was as pictured, but the description doesn’t even begin to explain how nice the area is. The neighborhood is great. It is quiet, I seen several neighbors that were very friendly in their yards or walking their dogs that waved and spoke. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The location is great, it was close to everything. If you enjoy a walk you can walk to Walmart, Burger King, many nice restaurants and also beaches. There is a little road noise, but that was not an issue. The owners were very nice and accommodating. They left a jug of Oj, and I LOVE Oj. So that was absolutely perfect. My son and I absolutely enjoyed our Mom/Son trip and even he loved it. Thank you, for a wonderful stay!! We will most definitely check to see if this place is available on all our “back home,” visits, from now on.

Nice house

The house was well prepared. We had everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. We cooked pretty much every day and I was surprised to have all kinds of stuff. We were able even bake a bread there. Thank you so much.

GREAT PLACE

Communication was great between home-owner and myself before we even arrived. The place was clean and bug free the entire time we were there. It was great to already have everything furnished except for food and its only a skip and hop to Walmart for groceries. The only thing it did not have was a gallon tea pitcher which was easily purchased. I decided to leave it there for the next folks if they want to make tea as well. :) I met the neighbors next door and they were super nice as well. Gave us some tips on eating joints in the hood as well. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to be 5 minutes from the beach and everything else near. Prime location.

Englewood winter get-away

Enjoyed our stay in Englewood at this affordable vacation rental. Check in and check out we’re extremely convenient. Our hosts, Jun and Mary Catherine, we’re quick to respond to a couple of problems that came up. WiFi could use an upgrade, as signal was low, and sometimes nonexistent, in the bedrooms.

Close to Home

The home was very spacious and nicely laid out, the furniture was new and well kept and most important very comfortable. The Neighborhood was very quiet friendly. There were 5 of us there and it never felt crowded, taking showers the hot water never ran out and that's a plus when you have teenagers with you. The beaches were only a couple miles down the road, Walmart is littlary around the corner so getting stuff for the beach was a breeze. It's a nice location that is near the main roads so it's easy to get in and out. The owner is extremely nice and communicates very quickly. It's perfect for a long stay with your family.

Nice place . WIFi password did NOT work and unable to reach ( or know how to reach anyone ) To get wifi password is my only complaint . Overall is was a great stay .

We always respond to every message on VRBO as soon as possible. If you had left a message we would have contacted you with a solution or fix. We apologize for any inconveniences. We tested the wifi today and the 2g was working fine. We only give out the 2g. We do not give out the 5g because not all devices can connect. If you visit again we will make sure you stay is better!!

Quick weekend in FL

My husband and I flew in for a quick weekend of house hunting in Englewood. While we didn’t need 3 bedrooms for just us, there were few places that allowed just 2 nights rental. There was plenty of space, the check in process was so easy, and it was really nice to have a fridge and ice maker. The owners were quick to respond to any message and generous enough to give us late check out so we could go to the beach Sunday morning, shower, pack up and then head to the airport.
