Perfect home to celebrate USAFA graduation

This was a beautiful, private location to celebrate USAFA graduation. The home was perfect for our large family and a short distance to the academy. Gwen was an amazing host and made our stay seamless. She provided everything we could possibly need. The entertaining area, both inside and out, had spectacular views and was perfect for spending time together. We hope to return to this special home again.

Perfect Wedding Weekend

We stayed in this beautiful home for our son’s wedding. The grooms party stayed here and we had plenty of room. Places to watch sports, play games, cook meals, hike and relax on the deck while enjoying the view. Great location close to the venue and a wonderful host.

Amazing views & an Amazing Owner

Our family met together with 8 adults and 6 kids. The owner had enough booster seats and pack n plays for the littles and board games and video games for the older kids. Plus the kitchen was packed with everything needed and a little more. Lots of local hiking. Great location. I guess the best word for this place is WOW!

Trip for Blue Spruce family wedding

House was perfect for us! Many bedrooms, very quiet, large open living area, well equiped kitchen, fantastic host. I LOVED that there was no TV in the main upper family room! Also loved the large deck and beautiful views!

Blissful Winter Wonderland

Beautiful home, and scenery. We were able to stay during snow fall and our children had a blast! Thanksgiving was perfect and have never had more accomodating guests! Highly recommended- much needed getaway- modern dream like property and home. Thank you for the memories.

Fur- Ever Bach Party

We had the most fun staying in this beautiful home for my daughters bachelorette party. From the beautiful snow to the sunny days...this house was perfect! The space was wonderful for the 13 of us. Perfect space for the girls and the their fun moms! I have booked many VRBO homes for family events and this is by far the most well stocked, guest friendly, and "host thought of everything" home! Book your stay today!

Fabulous Property

This property is beautiful and great for many people to stay! We were hosting our daughter’s wedding on the property. She was married in the chapel in the woods and reception right there. Gwen goes all out to make sure your stay and wedding is perfect. She is a wonderful host. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Beautiful House

Such a wonderful house! Gwen was a gracious hostess and so easy to work with. We had the unexpected gift of snow and our grandkids loved it!We were coming to Colorado mainly to go to a Broncos game but we wanted to see some of the other sights while we were there. The location of this house was an easy drive to Denver(Broncos game, Golden, Red Rocks), Pike's Peak, Colorado Springs.We hope we get to stay here again someday!

Wedding Weekend

The property was an ideal setup and location for our wedding. We had 21 people total for the evening and 11 of us spent the weekend at the house. The property had almost everything we needed to have a caterer, musician and seating for all our family and guests.

Perfect Getaway

The house was gorgeous and equipped with everything we needed and more. The view from the porch was amazing any part of the day. We relaxed by the firepit and had a drink while listening to music. We had a great time watching the wildlife roam the property and even saw a double rainbow off the back porch. Gwenevere was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here if it is available.

Stunning

Gwen's place if very peaceful and gorgeous. Everything in the pictures is what it's like in person. We were celebrating a wedding at Spruce Mtn. Ranch, the proximity is so very close it helped out with the drive time to and from venue. I would love to go back someday. Thank you Gwen for all your helpful info, love the place.

Simply Spectacular!

Gwen is an amazing host and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! The house features a great floor plan with plenty of room to spread out. The house is also fully stocked with all sorts of kitchen equipment and spices to easily prepare a great meal and tons of board games downstairs to keep kids entertained. We enjoyed exploring the trails up the hill, hanging out on the deck listening to music, and lounging in the hot tub watching the snow fall. This is truly a special place to spend quality time with family or friends!

Wedding extravaganza

This place is stunning!!! Not only is the house amazing, the property is gorgeous. And don’t forget about the host, Gwen! She’s outstanding, absolutely outstanding! She was there helping get everything ready for our wedding and went above and beyond! Her attention to detail both inside and out are amazing. Every detail/decor in the home are top notch!

Beautiful home with plenty of amenities

We enjoyed your home very much. The pantry was accessible and all cleaning supplied were provided. We enjoyed being able to make coffee multiple ways and the ease of using the home. Only negative was the number of tvs. We did fine without, made plenty of memories and had a blast.

Beautiful Home and Views!

We stayed here with my extended family, totaling 14 people. This house was absolutely beautiful! It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need and had ample space for us all. We loved every detail from the design of the home to the decor. Large windows in every room with the most beautiful views! We enjoyed drinking coffee every morning on the back patio and ending our days there too or in the hot tub! We loved watching the hummingbirds and even saw a bear! Gwen was the sweetest host and checked on us throughout our stay. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Second Time and Won't Be the Last!

This is the second summer we have spent a week at Gwen's property in Larkspur. We love everything about this house. The master being on the top floor (great privacy being grandparents), the main floor and it's expansive kitchen/family room leading out to the balcony, and the bottom floor - a perfect set up for our married children and their children. Gwen has an attention to detail in every area of renting from her including a nicely stocked pantry, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Can't wait to go back next year.

Stunning home - will be back.

We were overly satisfied with this home- absolutely would stay again. The amenities were awesome - felt more like a home than a VRBO. Everyone fit comfortably in the five bedrooms and we had more than enough space in the kitchen for everyone to comfortably interact. The deck and surrounding views were gorgeous. The outdoor furniture/fireplace area felt like an additional room off the kitchen- indoor/outdoor living! The bunk rooms were spacious and had more than enough room for teenagers. The mattresses were comfortable throughout the home and bedding was soft. Gwen checked in on us during our stay, we felt very taken care of.

Our favorite VRBO EVER!!

This home was simply amazing and absolutely PERFECT for our son’s graduation from the Air Force Academy. I had several family members stay with us and everyone had plenty of space, privacy and enjoyed the home as much as we did! The homeowner was extremely helpful, communicative and accommodated our every request! I only wish we would’ve stayed longer! If I could give this home 10 stars I definitely would. If you’re looking for elegance, comfort and lots of EXTRAS… this is absolutely the perfect home for entertaining or just relaxing and taking in the beautiful views! We can’t wait to plan our next visit and will definitely stay here again! Thank you for your warm hospitality and opening your home to our family!!

Wedding week for our daughter!

We could not have picked a better location/house for this week. The beauty and openness of the home worked out perfectly for 8 bridesmaids and both the moms to get hair and makeup done for the wedding. We were only a quick drive to Spruce mountain ranch, the wedding venue. We were able to have the rehearsal brunch at the house. For a very reasonable fee we were able to use all the owners, tables, chairs and tablecloths. All the beds were super comfortable which made it all the better. This week could not have gone more perfectly and I would highly recommend this property to anyone who would want to stay! We made so many great family memories… it will never be forgotten ❤️

Perfect!

I can't say enough good things about this house - the pictures are exactly as you will find it. The property the house sits on is a dream - so quiet and relaxing. The real gem is Gwen though! She will go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. We were hosting a small rehearsal dinner and forgot to bring cloth napkins for the event. Gwen went out of her way to bring us some to use. The event was perfect and all our guests could not stop talking about this house! Again - 5 stars!

OUTSTANDING!!

We were a group of 13 sorority sisters celebrating 35 years together. This was the PERFECT place. This entire experience was outstanding!! Gwen was absolutely amazing!! From the onset, Gwen was responsive to every inquiry I had. She also made several recommendations for service we desired while we were in her home. She remained in contact the entire time, supporting any of our needs. The property was EXACTLY as the pictures depicted and then some! Simply beautiful! I would love to come again! Thanks Gwen!!!

Elegant, Relaxing, and Peaceful

We loved staying here! Beautifully decorated and spacious house where the family stayed to celebrate my sons wedding nearby. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the beautiful back deck overlooking the fields. We cooked out one night on the grill and eight on the back deck. During that time we saw a little black bear running through the fields far off in the distance and a doe. We enjoyed the hot tub at night. We had an infant and an 85-year-old and everyone else in the party was an adult. Gwen was a wonderful host And was quick to respond to any questions that I had. We loved our stay so much I really didn’t want to leave! If I come back to the area it would absolutely be my first choice I have a place to stay!
