Nestled right on the water you can enjoy the view of the river and all of nature around you. Just minutes away from Downtown Beaufort, Atlantic Beach and Harkers Island. Stroll Front Street in Downtown Beaufort, dine at local restaurants and enjoy the shops.

Family vacation

We stayed here while doing the numerous boat tours that leave out of Beaufort. Sand dollar island, Blackbeards Revenge and a boat ride to Carrot Island, this house was the perfect location!

Weekend Getaway

The stay is perfect as always. Property is very clean, very lovely place to stay. This is the only place we stay when going to Morehead. Communication is easy and could always get a quick answer if you have a question or concern. Beautiful scenery from the deck!

We had the best experience with this rental! Emily was very responsive with getting back to all the questions I had. The house was in the perfect location, quiet & beautiful view. My son was able to fish and be outside so he was in heaven! We plan to visit again soon

This house is on a small side channel of the North River, with a considerable marsh next to it. It's a quiet peaceful spot with gorgeous sunsets and especially sunrises. It's a ten minute drive or so into the main part of Beaufort. The house is comfortable and clean. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the basics (though no salt--bring your own) and the porch is wonderful for sitting outside and taking in the view. There are a few small maintenance issues that I expect will be fixed very soon. But over all it's just a great place--we have stayed here several times. And personally my favorite thing is sitting on the porch taking pictures of all the interesting birds!

Great place for a quiet vacation

Had a great time, plenty of everything necessary for a vacation home, provided paper towels, linens, towels, dish detergent, etc. which was awesome!

Great weekend get away

My family had a wonderful stay at the property. This is a great place to stay for a quiet, peaceful retreat and was only 10 minutes away from downtown Beaufort. Far enough away to enjoy the serenity of the Sound's natural habitats, close enough to the towns and cities to enjoy local restaurants and the beaches. Would definitely return to this spot.

Relaxing location and well appointed house

The house is nicely decorated in coastal decor with comfortable beds and kitchenware. The view is serene and we enjoyed watching the resident white egret fish for dinner. Host was attentive and helpful.

This property has everything. Right on the water beautiful view just far enough to be away from everything but yet close enough to do everything! Very clean, tastefully decorated but not over done, yard in great shape and perfect for family!

The property is great as always. Always clean and all the things you needed for a family vacation. The fishing in the backyard is always a plus. Check in and out is always smooth and never had an issue during our stays.

The serene view is just what was needed! The house is a quaint house. Open plan was great to reconnect with the family. Wonderful communication with the house manager! Definitely will bring a kayak next time!

Great place & great hostess

Such a cute house in a great location. The house is only minutes from downtown Beaufort and Morehead City. The views are beautiful and the house is in a quiet area. The hostess, Emily, was super friendly and so accommodating. It was nice to have so many things included with the house. We will definitely choose this house again when we come back to the area.

Perfect quiet area

We loved our stay! It was perfect. Very quiet area. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed (towels, washcloths, pillows, blankets) to have an enjoyable week vacation. The host was very pleasant to communicate with. If you needed anything she was a phone call or text away. Definitely will book again next year.

Our Nicholas Sparks town tour

We stayed here for a couple of great reasons and it didn’t disappoint. 1- pets -all pets welcome. We had a small cat traveling with us and they were very receptive. 2- location- the location of this house was perfect for us to jump in the car and head out to some other amazing towns, and 3- amenities- I personally being a VRBO owner for property in Florida found the supplies to be more than substantial. Coffee, creamer, paper products etc! Communication with the owners were fantastic too. Thanks for making part 1 of our NSTT very memorable.
