Pintoresca casa de 3 recámaras y 2 baños situada en el canal intracostero. ¿Quieres ir a la playa pero no quieres estar en la corriente principal de todo? Estamos lo suficientemente cerca pero lo suficientemente lejos. Disfrute de noches tranquilas iluminadas por la luna escuchando a los delfines mientras nadan. Durante el día, descanse en el porche, la pérgola, la bañera de hidromasaje o el muelle y vea pasar el desfile de barcos. The listing and the previous reviews are spot on. This is a great place to retreat from the chaos of life. Enjoy taking a deep breath of coastal air, watch the boats go by, see stars that you can not see if you live in town, admire the graceful movements of dolphins, relax in the hot tub, etc. We can not wait to go back again.

Wonderful spot

Lovely view of water with lots of boats and a few dolphins to watch go by from the screened porch or the waterside dock. I enjoyed the quiet. The teenager enjoyed the beach and shops 30 minute drive away. Really well equipped cooks’ kitchen. Grill and hot tub were wonderful.

Restful retreat on the river

We and our small dog had a wonderful time! Greg was a great host, very good communication. The screened porch overlooking the river was the highight! We saw dolphins, pelicans, ospreys and boats.

Peaceful getaway

Very cute home in a very peaceful area. The view of the waterway and access to a marina perfect as well. Home is well kept, and everything needed for a comfortable stay is there.

Relaxing Weekend

My wife and I enjoyed a nice relaxing weekend with a couple of friends watching the boats go by from the covered dock. The location is great, the house was clean and well stocked and the host was a pleasure to work with.

Wonderful stay

This property was so nice! As a family of four with two littles we had so much space and such a fun time. Watching all the boats go by was definitely a hit. The neighbors were very quiet-we didn’t even realize we were next to anyone. Will definitely visit again.

Beautiful House!

The hosts were amazing from check in to check out, calling and messaging to make sure everything was good. The house is beautiful, very well equipped, and was very clean. We were provided with ample linens and towels. The dock by the intracoastal waterway was a great place to fish and it was cool to watch the boats go by. Overall it was a great place to stay!

Relaxation Paradise

Nice home in a great location on the water. The home has everything you could possibly need It is close enough to Beaufort but far enough from all the crowds and traffic. We enjoyed fishing from the dock when we were not out in our boat on the water.

Hidden Gem!

Snuggled back on a quiet creek! Excellent home with all the amenities you could ask for! Short boat ride to Beaufort and Morehead. Nice marina only a block away to launch your boat. Home was very clean and relaxing, wonderful place to stay!

Outdoor Oasis Tucked Away in Peaceful Area

We really enjoyed our time at this rental property. The home was very clean and well stocked. The outdoor areas were our favorite part. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, fishing from the dock, and watching the boats. A highlight was seeing a pair of dolphins swim by.

The property was very nice, as advertised. Beach access was very convenient. Everyone loved the hot tub and heated pool. Only negative(minor) was that the water pressure in the showers was restricted by the low flow showerheads. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay.

Perfect location!

House was perfect location for our visit to surrounding areas. Came home to a cocktail on the deck watching the intracoastal boat traffic. Enjoyed coffee in the morning on the screened in porch. Enjoyed a visit from a neighbor dog looking for treats (very friendly). We hated to leave!

We love to travel and enjoy various activities such as skiing, biking, hiking, fishing and lots of other outdoor activities. We choose this home in Newport due to its close proximity to Beaufort and Morehead City yet far enough away to avoid mainstream traffic. We have created so many great memories at our Coastal Retreat we decided to share this property with hopes you'll enjoy it as much as we do.

Perfectly situated on the intra-coastal waterway. The home is cozy and scenic with views of the dolphins and bait fish that go up and down the water way as well as the boat traffic. We also enjoy the beach, fishing and boating.
