The Compass North with Full Kitchen Near TSU

A newly remodeled 1940s house with lots of charm and modern comfort.

The "Compass North" , which is one of two units in The Compass, is decorated with a unique travel theme that celebrates architecture from around the world.

You will enjoy the comfortable bedroom, bathroom, spacious living room, dining room, kitchen complete with refrigerator, oven/stove, microwave, pots, pans and other kitchen essentials, coffee maker, some snacks, on site washer and dryer, and fast internet connection.

This is one of two units in a house divided by a safe, solid, locked security door. You have your own private entrance and your own thermostat. The only time you might see guests from the other unit, is in the parking area.

A keypad entry and drive-up parking gives you quick and safe access to your private space.

Stephenville Getaway

My husband and I were so pleased with this cozy home. The attention to detail was so appreciated. The decor was incredibly pleasing. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. Plan to stay again!

Was a great place for family to stay while they came in for a visit. Decorated very cute! Host was very responsive. The property if very close to the Tarleton campus.

This was the cutest Vrbo in stephenville! Charming and cozy. Being in a college town, the area was a little noisy at night but we brought our Dohm sound machine & slept great. We would stay here again!

We had both N and S rooms, both were very nice and we had a great stay. Will stay again when in area! Clean, well stocked, and many nice touches. Owner worked with me when needed to adjust rez, very good experience all around.

Excellent property at a great price.

This property exceeded every expectation. It has been stylishly renovated and was extremely comfortable. Our host was very gracious and responsive. We had no problems during our stay. We will return to Stephenville and when we do, we hope to stay here.

This house has everything you need for a stay. The owners have taken so much pride in this house and it truly shows. They really care about your stay and and try to make it as memorable as possible. The home is cozy, conveniently located and is stocked with almost everything you would need plus some. I’m definitely going to stay at this house again.

Perfect comfy place

The house was so charming and beautifully decorated. The house is in a great location and on a quiet street. We really appreciated the well thought out extras like water and snacks after being exhausted from a long drive. As a Mama it was really nice to come back to a homey place after dropping my first kid off to college, instead of a cold hotel room. We will be back!

Just what we needed

My husband and I brought our daughter to Stephenville for new student orientation at Tarleton. The Compass North was perfectly situated for all that we did during our visit. The house was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We will definitely rebook and stay. Thank you Shellie for being an amazing host and allowing us to share the Compass North.

Anything on campus

We we’re in Stephenville for the a TSU college showcase camp. This house was just a feee blocks away and close to everything we needed to get to. Very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again for any future events in Stephenville.

Scott has been on staff at a local church for 32 years and Shellie has managed their 4 VRBO listings since 2020. They live close by so, if you need anything, let us know. If you need any recommendations about food, places to see or places to worship, we would be glad to answer any questions you may have or give suggestions.

We are also 12 miles from Dublin, 20 miles from Hico and 29 miles to Granbury all of which have museums, food and shopping. We are 3 blocks from Tarleton State University, 2.1 miles from Twisted J Live, 0.7 miles form the town square, 8.2 miles from the Tarleton State Rodeo Team facility, 0.8 miles to the TSU Stadium,10 miles from Dove Creek Ranch and 0.9 miles from the City Park.
