Three bedroom single home with 2 full baths located in a protected bird sanctuary area at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a lake, creek, and wooded tropical nature view. Amenities include private outdoor solar heated pool, hot tub, laundry room access, parking/driveway, and Wi-Fi. Ideal location for nature, wildlife, and birdwatching. Kayaks are available to explore the many scenic waterways in the area. The closest beaches are 10 to 15 minutes away. Siesta key in nearby Sarasota was voted the number one beach in the USA! Also unlimited shopping, restaurants, beach bars, beautiful sunsets, and other various tourist attractions nearby.

Rest and relaxation

Can we tell you?!?! This place was by far our favorite place we have stayed! It felt like home. Everything you need to enjoy your vacation! The pool, the privacy, and the hot tub all made this the place to be to relax and unwind. We were close enough to beaches and grocery stores. EXCELLENT!

Best place we have stayed

To start off this place was amazing probably the best house we have stayed at in the past 5 years of coming down. The owner was very pleasant and helped with anything we needed. The place was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The pool was very pleasant also and the patio area was awesome

The property was nice, it was well stocked with everything we needed. It was a little stinky outside from the waterway out back. The owners use the garage thats attached to the property so they were in and out daily with their jeep. I would have liked to know that prior to reserving this property for our family vacation. The owner was nice however he did pop in almost daily checking on the pool and making sure the jaccuzzi top was on while not in use, said he didnt want leaves blowing into it. Not something we usually have happen when we rent a place for vacation so i know to ask more questions next time. The listing said the pool was heated however we couldn't find a thermostat to increase the temp a little.

Great place enjoyed the hot tub especially like nobody living right behind this house gave you some privacy and if you need anything the owner is right across the street house is clean we enjoyed our stay

Great location

The property was very comfortable. The owner lives across the street and was very nice and helpful. If you’re interested in going to Siesta Key Beach, it’s a short 25 minute drive from this location. Stores and restaurants are close by. Relaxing stay. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect home away from home!

The house was exactly as described! It had everything we needed plus lots of extras! Property is well maintained and property owner is super friendly with great commication! Our favorite home by far in Venice we’ve stayed.

Relaxing visit

My family and I came to Venice to visit family and this was a great place to relax with the family. We have two young kids and they LOVED the pool and the wild life from alligator creek in the back yard! There was a small issue when arriving to the house, we weren’t provided with the access code at arrival. The owners called back within minutes and were able to get a code to get in the house. Overall, great experience, clean home, well stock, and nice pool and hot tub.

This property was clean and spacious and comfortable. It was the perfect place and we are so glad that we were able to stay there. Beautiful pool and hot tub. The back yard was so nice to sit and watch the birds and other wildlife. The owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We hope to get back there once a year.

Quiet home away from home with everything you need.

The house was cute, cozy, would have been great for entertaining as well. Steve was amazing ww were sad we couldn't say goodbye. The house has everything. Going to the beach check the garage before you shop. The place was perfect for what we wanted. I thought a hot tub in fl sounded ridiculous. I spent so much time in there. The quiet view of the abck yard was so welcoming. We will return if we are ever coming to the area again. I WOULD highly recommend this listing to anyone I know. I usually find reasons to complain as I am hard to please and I cannot think of one for this visit.

Wonderful property!

We came to Venice for a sisters trip, and this home provided everything we needed for a fantastic stay, and more! The home was so comfortable and clean; the backyard and patio were fantastic, with privacy, wildlife viewing, hot tub, and large heated pool. We were so sad to leave, and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Oh, and they also provide beach chairs, coolers, a shark tooth scooper, and more!

Amazing!!!

This property is absolutely amazing. Watching the alligators every morning during breakfast from the lanai is amazing. The pool is the best and so warm. The beds are super comfortable. The house is the cleanest I’ve ever booked. Steve, the owner, is across the road and amazing to deal with. I couldn’t ask for anything better for our week away from the cold north.

Great Getaway

This was one of the best places that we have stayed. The house was conveniently located to everything but the street is a quiet cul-de-sac, which made it quiet and very little traffic. We loved watching the birds on the creek out back and thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the enclosed front area. The property manager and his wife are awesome. Our only issue is that we didn't want to leave at the end of our stay.

Great location and space for family

Had a wonderful stay while visiting family in the area. My granddaughters loved the pool. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space to spread out.. Easy drive to the beach and close to lots of things to do. Great communication with owner. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place

Steve did heroic work repairing damage for the hurricane in time for our visit. The house, pool, and hot tub are wonderful, and the nature view out back is serene.

Great Home Away from Home

This home is outstanding from the pool to the kitchen to the dog-friendly amenities such as a fenced in turnout yard. This property is located on a very quiet cul-de-sac and looks out over a green space with birds, otters and other wildlife. It is conveniently located to downtown Venice, boating, beaches and shopping. The property managers seem to be constantly upgrading the house since the vinyl flooring was completed shortly before our visit; they take pride in this place and it shows. The house was very clean upon our arrival. I would highly recommend renting this property.

Home away from home

1st I want to say the photos don't do this place justice. It was way bigger than we imagined. Steve the owner was super accommodating. The AC unit had gone out right before we got there, he approached us as we arrived to let us know that he was extremely sorry and had bought some AC units. He also let us know a bit about the area and was super loving towards our furbabies. If you forgot something, you don't really have to worry. This place usually has what ever it is, neatly tucked away. In the morning we would enjoy sitting out in the pool area to watch all the wildlife in the creek and around the property. Watching the cranes grab fish so up close was awesome. Steve mentioned we were only the 2nd family to use the screened in front porch sitting area. That view was pleasing as well. Steve's house is right across the street with a beautiful yard that has complementing lights at night. Never has any of my family wanted to stay somewhere so badly. Steve has been the 1st property owner we have met while staying in a home, he was attentive and very neighborly. All I'm saying is that if Steve ever decides this thing is too much, we'd be willing to buy knowing how wonderful the property and neighborhood is. Thank you Steve for sharing your beautiful home with us and being such a great host. Can't wait to come again!!
