Beautiful house just needs to be cleaned a little better especially the outside. The light inside the pool would’ve been so cool! A little disappointed it wouldn’t stay on. The bbq was dirty & clogged. We could not cook anything on it, a small flame came on in one area. We cooked the food inside instead which was a bummer. I messaged the host about it but didn’t get anywhere. Overall a nice stay.

Check-in was smooth. Kitchen had everything we needed. My family lived all the games and activities available at the house. The pool was so clean a beautiful. We had a great time! Loved this spacious home!

The weather was terrible...

Even though the weather was aweful for a week in June (rained all but one day) at least there was plenty to do in the house. The teens held a scary movie night in the theater room, played ping pong, air hockey and pool. There was no ball for the foosball table. Good thing we brought our own cards, because the poker set didn't have one full deck. We only used the fire pit one night, but the heated pool and hot tub were a hit. The pictures are a bit deceiving, as the property could use a fresh coat of paint and a good power washing. But there was plenty of room for the nine of us and it was nice that we could bring the dog. It's weird that many attractions were closed on weekdays, it is summer time when people go on vacation. Over all, not a bad week in spite of the weather.

Presidents week ski trip

The property was as described size and amenity wise. There was plenty of room for everyone and we had a great time. Some down sides are the closets did not have hangers and the master closet does not have a hanging rod. The basement and the extra tv area were also very cold. Otherwise we would definitely rent this property again.

Family Christmas

House layout was great for large family! Loved the game room downstairs! (Couldn’t get X box to work, but kids loved the other games… especially the air hockey!) The hot tub was a big success and adults enjoyed the sauna!!! Loved the big screen TV… just had trouble getting surround sound to work!Just a couple of suggestions…the house was very cold. Other renters may want to bring blankets. Also labeling of remotes and directions for how to operate them, tv’s and fire place would be helpful. I also felt cleaning fee was a bit excessive for a short stay.

Perfect place to stay

Everyone in the group loved the place, is exactly what we needed. It was too cold outside to do outdoor activities, but we had so much to do indoors, we were never bored. The set up was perfect for large groups that would want to stay together for activities, hang out, and eat. It took some time for the heat to kick in some places of the house, but we figured it out. Owner responded quickly to our concerns.

Great for some time away

Large house with plenty of beds and common areas to accommodate a larger group. Plenty of activities in the house, and the property is pleasantly secluded for a bit of privacy.

Here’s the translation: The house had a spacious dining room and a family room, which was perfect for our large group. Each room was well-equipped, and everyone felt at home. very disappointed

Pictures need to be updated. House was run down and shabby., We needed to vacuum the house before we used it. Window sills were dirty and filled with dead bugs. There were not enough bath towels. We were very disappointed with the condition of the house and would not recommend staying here!

Family Vacation

This property was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. I booked this property in January as a gift to my children and their partners and my dog. The pool was my major draw. It rained several times throughout the stay but it did not matter. There were so many areas to hang out it didn’t matter. It was huge. We never used the pool but at least it was an option. We had a minor issue with the jacuzzi but management responded immediately and it was rectified. We all truly enjoyed this property and will absolutely be returning soon. My children are all over 21 but this house would be great for young families.

Too Pricey; Party House

The house is a short-term rental business for sure and ridiculously overpriced for the condition and location ($1250 per night). The pictures are pretty accurate, but the details are hidden. Whoever owns this doesn’t care about the TLC of the house—it’s rundown in quite a few areas and doesn’t have a real “home” feel. The front door and front steps are damaged. The front and back porch could use a lot of work, including power washing. The inside is very basic and generic (for the exorbitant price is disappointing). The kitchen has basic cookware and utensils—none of the larger pots have lids. There’s a very small kitchen cart/island that is broken and rundown, but it’s needed due to lack of counter space. There are two fridge/freezers, which is very nice, especially for a larger group. The house is spacious with nice sized bedrooms, but the walls are paper thin—you can hear everything from everywhere, especially the front door is super squeaky. The outdoor area isn’t paved or landscaped, which is OK since we’re in Poconos, except that between the house and the pool isn’t paved and it would be a nice touch to at least pour concrete or use pavers. In addition, the are various wasps nest on the playground and the porch, which a renter would never expect to treat or spend time treating, so we had to avoid those areas. And the dumpster which is near the pool smells awful, is overfilled and rummage through likely by animals.

Presidents Day in the Poconos

We had a wonderful time at the Dani Lane property. There was plenty of snow and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and the sauna. Place was great for eleven of us, plenty of room to spread out. Kids loved the tv room and set up their devices upstairs. The basement had plenty of games and things to do, but it was a bit cold this weekend so we just stayed upstairs where it was comfy. The beds were very comfortable. We would definitely return to this house again!!!

Family Retreat

Great House, private location. Fun for all ages. Would have been nice to have a user guide to the systems of the house like the hot tub and sauna. We had a wondeful weekend stay. Highly recommend to stay here.

Family Getaway

House was as advertised. Clean, good location to stores, large open floor plans, and plenty of games/amenities for children/adults. Owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Only negatives were an unpaved road and a lack of provided seasoning/spices. Both minor details. We would definitely recommend and rent again.

Great space

This house was perfect for our group. The pool is amazing and heated to a great temp for swimming even on cold days. Great times for adults in hot tub and sauna. Game room was amazing for the children and were surprised by the Xbox. Well stocked kitchen is not a lie. Had everything we needed and we cooked large meals everyday. The beds were so comfortable that we need to what they are. The only downside for us was less "green space" for kids to play ball than we thought from photos. Also less chairs by the fire. There were only 5, 2 of which were broken. A must stay with a prompt host. All ages and personalities had a blast and at a bargain price in my opinion

Overall a good experience

Check in was easy and smooth. House is very large and spacious. Main issues we had are the smoker pictured is rusty/rotted/non-useable. The central air is only has 1 zone controlled from the first floor so the bedrooms upstairs are a bit warmer than preferred. Minor damage was observed in the upstairs master bathroom. Coffee cups are only big enough for the smallest setting on the Keurig (my family loves our coffee so we’re just being picky here.) Had to treat the playground ourselves with wasp/hornet spray we found under the sink after my son was stung multiple times on the first day. Luckily he’s not allergic. Fireplace is very nice looking and for some reason the pilot light was always lit and we couldn’t get it to shut off.

Family Reunion Stay

Great house with plenty of room. This is our second year for our family to meet. Lots to do right at the house, theater room, game room basement, sauna, whirlpool, firepit, kids playset, bbq. We rent on the off season but the pool looks great too. Dining Room will sit the entire extended family at once.

Modern and spacious

Pros: House was very clean and tidy. Plenty of room to accommodate every family member (we are a family of 10). Rooms are very spacious, beds were very big and comfy. Room for lots of entertainment all around. Fun for the whole family. A few cons: I must say the kitchen is well equipped but counter space is limited. Extra counter space was just a small island in the center. TV’s are all downstairs so the rooms didn’t have any TVs. Fire pit is not like the picture. Couldn’t even use it.

Perfect for families

Our two families totaling 10 people (ages 52x4, 22, 22, 18, 19, 18, 17) were very comfortable. House is spotless, new, and filled with lots of fun for all ages!! All beds were king-sized. There were two refrigerators and lots of sectional sofas to sprawl out on. Super great rental home!!

Merry Christmas!

This property was exactly as described, the owner was very responsive to all my questions. I had my 83 year old mom, my daughter, nieces and my sisters and there was something for all to do, and space to not feel crowded. Extremely clean and practically stocked with kitchen items. It was a lovely surprise to find a tall decorated Christmas tree, it completed the holiday! Highly recommended!,
