Cute little cottage but has roaches

I really liked the location and the size of the cottage but people should not have to pay to stay with roaches, i dont live with them and i dont want to travel a 1000 miles to stay with them

Peaceful Retreat

The Cottage was very clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable, and there was instant coffee by the coffee maker, with sugar and creamer. There is also a Keurig, but no pods, so if you don't want instant coffee, you'll have to buy some pods. The cottage is in a very nice quiet neighborhood, with lots of other nice tiny houses. It is located close to the pool, work out room, and shuffle board yard. It is a great place for a single person, or small family to stay in. There were minor issues such as the plug in the bathroom was loose, so when trying to unplug hair driers or flat iron's the plug would come out. Also, the pillows were flat as a board. It was fine for me since I was by myself (I just doubled them up), however if my husband would have been with me, it would not have worked, although I will admit that I did not check the closets for more pillows since I had a work around. These are minor and wouldn't prompt me to leave a bad review. The only negative comment I have is that there was no communication prior to my arrival. I am a planner and could not get a response prior to my arrival. I did, however, receive check in instructions the evening before my arrival, so all was well when I arrived. I did correspond with Ola while I was there, and when I inquired about check out requirements, I found that the check out was seamless with no requirements to take trash out, clean dishes, etc., which is nice since you have to pay a cleaning fee! Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this Marvelous Cottage!

Space Well Used

The property was very clean and although the space with small it was extremely well used. The high ceilings helped. My husband and I slept in the bedroom and the kids slept on the pull out couch. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe. My kids loved swimming at the pool. It was hard to get a hold of the property manager when I wanted to move our checkout day earlier because of work. Other than that it was pretty seamless.

Communication Disfunction

The owner didn't disclose the code to access the property in advance. We had to call and it went to voicemail. The host did respond but swore it had been provided before arrival. Then sent a message saying there was a $10.00 per hour charge per hour for check in before 3pm. This information wasn't in the initial agreement. Also the owner reminded me in the email about the cleaning fee. The cleaning fee was charged at booking. We didn't incur any additional charges but dealing with the owner ended up being stressful for the lack of timely responses from the owner. I wouldn't rent from this owner in the future.

My top search priority was lodging for three adults, a fourteen-year-old, a ten-year-old, and a six-year-old. The results that were returned to me indicated that this cottage met that criterion. WRONG! The cottage contained a double bed and a hide-a-bed suitable for two people. There was a recliner, but it did not recline to a true horizontal position. Furthermore, when the hide-a-bed was opened, there was no room on the floor to walk around it nor any area on the floor on which to sleep. Two beach towels, two bath towels, one hand towel, and one washcloth were provided by the host. While the cottage did have a washer and dryer, it was impossible for six people to manage with so little linen. This was the first VRBO that I had used, and it gave me a terrible first impression. Please reclassify this as suitable for four people, at most, and supply an appropriate number of towels and washcloths.

Tiny home away from home

Nice property away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. We stayed here for 6 nights and it was enjoyable. It was a quiet area and about 30 minute drive to Universal, 8 minutes to Gatorland, and 5 minutes to Walmart. My children enjoyed the heated pool a couple days. The recreation area, pool, and playground were very close to the house. The welcoming snacks and coffee were an added bonus, since we had a long drive and wanted a rest before we went to a store. The internet worked well and the tvs had roku. Only minor complaints would be the extra bedding and pillowcases could be better for the pull out couch. The pull out couch mattress was not very comfortable, but most aren't and it was okay for my kids. Overall, a great place. My youngest was not ready to leave and wanted to stay longer and swim.

Kissimmee stay

We were very impressed with the property. Close to the airport and 2o minutes from Disney. It was clean and comfortable. Park had amenities we could access. Only complaint, mattress on pull out couch uncomfortable, only 2 Washcloths and creamer and sugar packets not refilled. Just minor issues. We had an enjoyable stay, would do so again.
