Highly recommended lake side cabin. Welcome to Majestic Pines on Schroon Lake.

Nature lovers lakeside cabin on secluded road. Three levels of comfort with priceless views of the mountains and peaks. Property includes 200 feet of lake frontage with private dock so bring your boat! This is an outdoor persons delight. Cyclists love the challenging hills and amazing scenery. General store walking distance away featuring home cooked meals and souvenirs. Schroon is a short ride away featuring fine dinning , Dollar store, and a supermarket. 2 Kayaks /2 canoes on property for use. Propane gas grill for great outdoor cookouts. Firepit for evening campfires is provided. I do supply some wood. Hiking trails are located just up the block in Adirondack Park. Other trails are located on the west side of Schroon Lake. Cabin is available for rental all year around. Gore Mountain ski center is approx. 35-40 minutes travel by car. Driveway is paved and snow removal is provided all winter. Cabin is equipped with central a/c and a full house generator. Majestic Pines is here for your total relaxation experience. Google map address showing Schroon lake, N.Y. 12870

We have family in Jay and Queensbury and this was perfect cabin midway between their homes. Was very clean and was a great place for all to be together.

Amazing Father's day weekend with the family! The property is beautiful and clean . I was able to go out fishing early in the morning and be back for breakfast with the family almost every morning!

Farewell to summer

Beautiful location on one of our favorite lakes in the Adirondacks. First time renting a house and using Vrbo; was so smooth and easy! We have a large family and this home was perfect for every age kiddo and adult. Perfect way to spend the last weekend together before the kids head back to school.

Beautiful home with Breathtaking scenery!

Our family had the best week enjoying the serenity of the lake with all the comforts of home along with fires every night, swimming, kayaking and hiking. Many thanks to Myles for sharing his home and making it feel like a little bit of "Paradise". It was perfect!!!

Fantastic cabin on the lake!

Went up to NY for the April 2024 eclipse. This was a beautiful cabin with amazing views overlooking a lake, particularly at sunset. We cooked all our meals - kitchen was clean, good stock of pots & utensils. Good bedrooms, plenty of room to hang out. Myles was also prompt and friendly with communication, helped make our arrival and departure smooth. Very pleased with our stay.

Excellent clean property

We stayed at Whispering pines 6/16 - 6/23/21. The house was absolutely spotless and situated in a perfect location. The large fire pit and picnic table area were perfect at night, and the new docking system easily accommodated 8-10 chairs for daytime lakeside fun. Kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms all very comfortable. Myles was very easy to communicate with and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended this property.

Best of multiple worlds lakeside cabin

I've been spending our annual "family" week throughout the Adirondack Park every year for the past decade. This particularly stay was enhanced by a well organized and efficiently designed cabin with extremely comfortable accommodations.The modern bathrooms (3 full and a 4th half bathroom) were a plus for our family of 8. The exterior recreation area was no exception, with kayaks, canoe, dock, fire pit, picnic table and seating all in a close-knit outdoor area with multiple levels. Beautiful wooded cabin interior offered abundant views of the lake and surrounding trees. Bravo!

Our favorite VRBO of all time! This spacious A-frame log cabin overlooking Schroon Lake had everything we could want for a relaxing week long vacation. With three levels, my husband and I, our 22year old son and my sister each had our own floor (bed &full bath) for privacy. We could enjoy family time together for meals, games or tv in the well stocked kitchen, dining area & living room. There were so many sitting areas outside to view the lake, the landscaping or just read a book. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, using the kayaks and making s’mores around the campfire. I recommend a trip to the close by Adirondack General Store where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and shopping. Central air made our stay very comfortable as we have two with seasonal allergies. And we lost power briefly on our last evening but the generator kicked right on so we had no disruption. Comfortable beds with linens, plush towels, soap& shampoo provided- all you need to bring is your clothes and food! We definitely plan to book this beautiful home again.

Lake Living at its Best

Drove up from Virginia for a family reunion at Schroon Lake and was looking for a large house to hold the family. This home did not disappoint! This beautiful, updated, well stocked, and clean log cabin was so nice to stay in. The views from the patio and through the large windows are spectacular. Just be aware that it is definitely on a hill and the driveway and walkways are quite steep. The dock is great and we were able to board a pontoon boat without issue, but there is no beach to swim off of. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to all questions. We would stay here again!

Beautiful house right on the Lake.

The house is as described on the listing. One thing that did surprise us is how steep the driveway is, however, I guess this was to be expected considering its location right on the lake front. It has a fantastic view. The house is located very close to the Adirondack General Store which is a fantastic place to get a few groceries, have breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is amazing and the owners are so welcoming. They also have great gift items made locally.

Fall Foliage at Its Best

The property exceeded our expectations, and I suppose seeing the mountains across the lake resplendent in their autumnal garb had something to do with that. For 3 couples, the cabin had more than ample space to relax, dine, barbecue, kick back, and watch the Eagles and Phils win (and the Phils lose). Paddling one of the cabin's canoes across the lake was especially enjoyable, as it opened up vistas that can't be seen from the cabin or dock. The cabin is well-stocked with everything that is needed... except for a good bottle of bourbon. Oh, well. It just goes to show that you can't please everyone.

Incredible House on the Lake

We had the most magical stay on this property. Access to the lake was easy and we had fun kayaking and fishing off of the dock. Trips to grocery store and town and anything else really were about 20 min away and easy travel. The house itself is super duper clean and well stocked. Absolutely beautiful lake views and was just such a great visit.

Majestic Pines Cabin

The majestic pines cabin doesn’t disappoint….Myles has thought of everything and the house is well stocked. Kids loved the lake, the fire pit and the awesome accommodations that the cabin provides. Dock is awesome and fit our 20ft boat w/ ease. Thxs agin for sharing your lovely cabin with us!!!
