En invierno, puede hacer motos de nieve hasta Gore y esquiar a solo 20 minutos. El lago Schroon es conocido por sus carnavales de invierno y esta ciudad se mantiene viva durante todo el invierno. Si eres excursionista, ven en otoño. Visite todos los hermosos colores ADK y la vida salvaje en miles de millas de senderos para caminatas y kayak.
Tenemos nuestro propio estanque aislado justo en nuestro camino que es espectacular para practicar kayak y pesca. Great location. Close to the lake but far enough away from crowds and noise. We spent most of our time hiking and exploring the Adirondack area. The hot tub was a nice way to cap off a day of hiking. We made great use of the outdoor grill and relaxed around the fire pit after. I highly recommend a vacation in Lake Schroon!

Every year we all get together for a family weekend visit in Schroon Lake. This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is perfect for our fairly large group, and has plenty of space for all of us. The teenagers love the hot tub and also love the pool table and Pac-Man! The family room/dining/kitchen is large enough for everyone to hang out, and the south facing deck is a great spot for hanging out in the sun. We love that it is close to town and the lake, but it is also in the woods and very secluded - you can't even see a neighbor. Hopefully we will stay here again next year! The host was very accommodating and got back to me quickly when I had a small problem with the dishwasher. Great place!

This rating should go to ELEVEN! The house has everything you need for an amazing time in the Adirondacks. After a day hiking we enjoyed the full moon and stars around the fire pit, then jumped in the hot tub. No one turned on a TV all weekend (even though there's one in every room if you're tempted). Everything you need to throw a gourmet meal together, or grab a juicy burger in downtown Schroon 5 minutes away. Host Mary Jane was a great resource and knows the area and the cool local places. Best VRBO we've ever rented, excellent on every level.

Great family vacation!

There is lots to do. We ventured out to beach and rented a boat. We had the hot tub, fire pit, lots of games and enjoyed hanging out on the front porch morning, noon and night!

Ski Vacay

We absolutely loved the property. Everything from the fully stocked kitchen to the hot tub were just perfect. Add in a zip-line for the kids and it was just non stop fun. I could not recommend more and we hope to get back there soon.

Perfect spot for a family vacation!

The loose moose lodge was the ideal location for our family getaway! With 7 adults and 5 kids, there was plenty of room for everyone. The location couldn’t have been better with less than a 5 minute drive from Schroon village and the public beach and within 30 minutes to many other local amenities, including Lake George. The host was very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Mid-week mini vacation with family

This house is PERFECT for a large family vacation! We had seven adults and two dogs and there was plenty of space, every amenity you could ask for, location was perfect, private yet not far from the town. We cannot express what a wonderful vacation we all had together at this house. We are already discussing renting again next year! Thank you for your perfect home!

Lovely stay for the eclipse.

It's a beautiful place, plenty of activities to do around the house and downtown Schroon Lake has plenty of amenities too. We caught the eclipse in the back yard and had a spectacular time the whole weekend. The host was responsive when we had questions and was proactive in getting us the information we needed ahead of time.

Awesome time in Schroon!

Our crew had a great time at this property. The house is about 5 minutes from town so easy to pick up groceries for dinner. The game room downstairs is awesome, plenty of seating/space for a large group, a very comfortable stay for us all. The owner is very friendly and responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

As the owners of this second home, we’re committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and adventurous retreat for you and your family. We know firsthand what it’s like to raise children, travel with them, and entertain, so we’ve made sure our home is designed to offer an easy, stress-free vacation experience.

Our kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need to cook meals, and we always ensure there are plenty of clean pillows, bedding, extra blankets, and anything else you might need to feel comfortable during your stay.

As your host, I’m always just a call or text away and happy to help with any questions or special arrangements to make your stay perfect!
