Welcome to Rattler Ridge, our secluded bluff overlooking Lake Guntersville. Surrounded by 5 acres of fenced property, our home boasts privacy amidst majestic views. The home was built around the terrain, so whether you are relaxing on the deck, making s’mores by the fire pit, or simply standing in the kitchen, expect to be surrounded by scenery. 2.6 miles to the closest boat ramp Seibold and 3.8 miles from waterfront boat ramp.

The hosts were very helpful with suggestions about the area before we arrived and then in the living room they had several magazines and brochures as well. The coffee bar was well stocked and a nice surprise. The views were spectacular and so many windows to view them from, An amazing oversized tub and a comfy bed made for a fabulous long weekend.

This was a wonderful place to rent, every single room was just fabulous and so well equipped. The view and the deck were wonderful. My sister and I had a lovely weekend getaway. This is a must return!!

Just big enough for a bass boat. Driveway narrow, but works. Inside, place is very nice. Plenty of kitchen needs. Owner very easy to work with

Here for wedding

The house had everything you need and had anawesome view. We were here for a wedding and accomadated my family of 6. We had plently of space and didnt have to be cramped in a hotel. If we are every in this way again would stay again!

Great Lake house

Very nice property. Well stocked with everything you need away from home. Only thing I would have liked is a tv in the master bedroom. Overall, great stay.

Early spring fishing!

Located mid lake on the western ridge, this property has a great view of the lake and is close to prime boat launches. Very clean and well decorated and would make a great option for vacation whether fishing or not.

Relaxing location with killer view

Our stay was to visit Unclaimed baggage in Scottsboro along with thrift and antique shops in the area. The place was a little further than we thought (our fault in not paying attention to map info) but we found it as described -love no surprises - and had a magnificent view of sunrise over the water.

Birthday Trip

Rattle Ridge was a perfect place for our group to get together. The view from the house was breathtaking. The location was perfect for venturing out for shopping, great food, and sightseeing. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the Guntersville area.

Great house and awesome hosts!!!

This was the most impressive place I have stayed. The hosts have thought of everything and it shows. These owners really go all out to make sure their guest have everything they need for a relaxing stay. The house was super clean and just as described. If I ever get a chance to make it back to lake guntersvulle this will be the only place I book. Thanks again Renee!!

Beautiful, peaceful home and grounds!

Loved our visit to this place! Especially the covered porches and large deck. The inside made us feel right at home it was so comfortable. Definitely plan to stay again.

Great Family Get Away

This is an excellent rental for a family because the master bedroom and bath are separated from the other two bedrooms by a living room. The host does an outstanding job of supplying little extras to make your stay more enjoyable. It is the best VRBO I have rented.

Lake Views and Peace and Quiet

This was our second visit to Rattler’s Ridge but I am sure it will not be our last. This home sits high up on a mountain with beautiful views of Guntersville Lake in the distance. It is quiet and so peaceful. It also has everything we need for a pleasant stay. The homeowners do a great job of upkeep and everything is nicely furnished and clean. I have only positive things to say about this property.

Rattler Ridge

This is a very well kept and nicely appointed property. The bedrooms and bathrooms are quite spacious. I and my guest love to cook and the kitchen was GREAT! The window view over the sink makes dishwashing a pleasure! This is a great place for a family or group of friends to gather and relax and would be perfect for a holiday gathering. Will deinitely stay here again.

Mountain paradise

Owner was great to work with and the house was just as described. They left snacks for us and plenty of coffee for my early morning fishing trips. The view off of the back deck will make you never want to leave. I slept in the master bedroom and the bed was very comfortable. The house is at the end of a long driveway, very secluded and quiet. We had a great stay and would most definitely stay here again.

Lance and Renee have lived in the Guntersville area for a few years. Both are originally from Georgia and still hold jobs there. Bass fishing is what drew them. Lance can be found on the lake many days throughout the year. Another passion is college football. Lance is an Alabama fan, and Renee pledges her allegiance to UGA. We are available and happy to provide answers to your questions.
