Beautiful state of the art kitchen opens to a cozy and relaxing sunroom with beautiful views of the Potomac River. Large deck off the sunroom gives way to private beach and pier. Enjoy beach games, smokeless
fire-pit, fishing and crabbing while taking in the abundant wildlife. Boat ramp close by and Historic Piney Point Lighthouse is a beautiful one mile walk away.

Best rental house experience we’ve ever had…. Nick and Julianne were wonderful hosts - great communication and very helpful. Their house is amazing - top quality materials and workmanship, perfect beach house decor, and everything you need to feel at home. The pictures online don’t do it justice. The beach and fire pit and dock were great. In short a fabulous getaway. Thank you !!!

This home was so cozy, clean and had everything you could need. Beds were comfy. Loved the outside space and fire pit. Nice location. Owners were awesome and available right away if you needed anything. I would go back for sure.

Amazing vacation home.

This house is beautiful and has everything anyone could ask for. The scenery is spectacular too. We enjoyed sitting outside watching the sun set, just listening to the water and enjoying a fire on the beach. The kitchen is any cook's dream! The owners are wonderful and communicated with us wonderfully. We would give it a 10 rating if possible and will certainly be back. One of our best vacations!

Cozy cottage with waterfront view and dock

Very clean and updated interior with fully equipped kitchen including separate icemaker. We brought our boat and trailer, launched from close Piney Point landing and docked it overnight at the cottage’s dock. Also brought my paddleboards and launched from the property—very easy! Caught some crabs with their cage right off their dock and ate the fish we caught. Owners were very responsive. Highly recommend!

Hot but Relaxing

Great property, beautiful home. I don't think the owner could have done anything about the 'extreme heat warnings', but that would have been nice. The most frustrating thing was the less-than-adequate internet performance in the entire area. Again, nothing the owner could help with. We wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Return visit was great!

This was our second time staying at this home and couldn’t have been more pleased. Clean, well-decorated and well-equipped, quiet neighborhood, easy access to the water, and great location near St. Mary’s City and Solomons. Excellent communication from the owners. Definitely plan on returning again!

Relaxing Girls Trip

Piney point cottage

Beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property on the Potomac river. The cottage was roomy enough for six adults and very comfortable. We loved the openness of the house and of course the youth of the river were incredible and very relaxing?

Perfect Labor Day stay

Great spot really close to Northern VA. The house was perfect size and layout for our small crew. Cleanest house I have ever visited and everything was comfy. We swam, fished and had a fire in the fire pit. Hummingbirds were everywhere which was a fun surprise. We really enjoyed our stay. Even though it is close to its neighbors it was still a very quiet visit. Would come back again no doubt. Thanks!

Immediate Relaxation

Our family stayed in this home for a five day getaway. My husband began fishing within 30 minutes of our arrival. I was napping looking at the view before we even unpacked. The space is expertly decorated and was perfect for our family of five. The hosts are a kind and accommodating with sweet touches of hospitality. A great stay!
