Pelican Pub - Karaoke! Pet friendly fenced yard

Welcome to the Pelican Pub Home in beautiful Sea Isle where the beach meets the bay. The home has 3 bedrooms, 2 living areas, a kitchen with modern appliances and 1.5 bathrooms. The downstairs is great for entertaining - it has a bar and a stage with microphone/speakers/iPad for karaoke. Two bedrooms are upstairs with the third being downstairs, which is not internally connected to the main floor. There is a dedicated work station area. Home includes an outdoor shower and has self check-in.

Kitchen - The kitchen has all modern appliances and a solid surface countertop. It is well equipped to fulfill all your cooking needs. There's a full size refrigerator with ice maker, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Fully stocked with dishes, glasses, utensils, pots/pans, bakeware, storage containers and both a traditional Coffee Maker and a Keurig (K-cups).

Living Room - The spacious living area has a large sectional couch, two recliners and a smart HDTV.

Bedroom #1 - King Bed with smart HDTV

Bedroom #2 - Bunk Bed (full/twin) with an additional pull out twin trundle bed. This room has a smart HDTV

Bedroom #3 - Queen bed with attached half bath. There is also an attached desk workspace area. This bedroom is downstairs on ground level with its own entrance (no internal staircase). It is has a smart TV.

The garage area has a bar and stage with speakers/microphone/ipad for karaoke that is great fun for both kids and adults.

The house has Xfinity (Comcast) TV service on all TVs. TV's are equipped with Roku streaming devices which contains popular streaming apps. Additionally, there is Xfinity high speed internet access with Wifi throughout the home.

House comes with access to the neighborhood private fishing pier and boat launch.

Due to liability concerns, the cargo lift is not available for use by the guests.

Sea Isle Community - Guests have access to the public beaches (3 different access areas), boat ramp, marina, park, basketball courts, and tennis courts. There is also a neighborhood bar and restaurant which offers great food and adult beverages. Sea Isle is a very safe and family friendly neighborhood which is buzzing with activity in the summertime.

Galveston Registration: GVR07317
1. Property. The property is described as a house located at 4211 Mason Dr, Galveston, TX 77554 (the “Property”).

2. Rental Rules & Restrictions. Guest agrees to abide by the following restrictions by Owner (the “Rules”):

(A) Smoking and/or vaping is not permitted inside the Property
(B) Garbage must be placed in the proper receptacles. Garbage pickup is Monday morning.
(C) Parties, events or large gatherings are not permitted.
(D) No Parking in the neighbors driveway
(E) Use of fireworks is prohibited
(F) No grilling or open flames under the house
(G) The primary guest renting the house must be at least 25 years old

3. Maximum Occupancy. The maximum number of persons allowed to stay in the Property is limited to ten (10), unless the Owner gives its prior written consent. No more than 4 cars are permitted.

4. Keys & Access Codes. Owner will provide Guest with one (1) key(s), which will unlock both the front door and the side garage door to the Property. Guest is not allowed to make duplicate keys. A fee of $100.00 will be charged to Guest for failure to return a key. Guests should not attempt to access the Owners closet in the Master Bedroom and Bunk Room. Any attempt to access these locked closets is just cause for immediate termination of this Agreement, forfeiture of all rent paid, and Guest will be liable for any missing items or damage. Owner will provide Guest with access card to the Fishing Pier.

5. Bunk Beds: There are certain risks associated with using a bunk bed and bunk bed ladder, and Guest agrees that use is at your own risk. Owner assumes no responsibility for personal loss, injury, or illness of any kind which may result from use of the bunk bed and ladder. Guest does hereby RELEASE, WAIVE, DISCHARGE, AND COVENANT NOT TO SUE Owner for any liability, claim, and/or cause of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me arising out of use of the bunk bed. Parents with children should be especially cautioned regarding ladder use and agree to accept all responsibility for minors. While not an exhaustive list of precautions, Guest agrees to follow these industry standards: 1) Use of top bunk is limited to occupants 6 years or older; 2) Use of top bunk is limited to 1 occupant and a maximum 175 lb weight; 3) No jumping or other horseplay on or around the bed; 4) Always use ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.

6. Limitation on Liability. Owner is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur to any member of the Rental Party or Guest’s visitors while in the Property or on the Property. Owner is not responsible for any accidents or injuries that occur to any member of the Rental Party or Guest’s visitors that may occur due to the use of the Bunk Beds. Owner is not responsible for loss of personal belongings or valuables belonging to any member of the Rental Party or any of Guest’s visitors. Guest agrees to assume the risk of any harm arising from use of the Property. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES AND UNDER NO LEGAL THEORY, TORT, CONTRACT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, SHALL OWNER BE LIABLE TO GUEST OR ANY OTHER PERSON FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER INCLUDING ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THIS AGREEMENT OR GUEST’S RENTAL OF THE PROPERTY OR USE OF THE PROPERTY. IN NO EVENT WILL OWNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EVEN IF OWNER SHALL HAVE BEEN INFORMED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.

7. Indemnification. Guest acknowledges that the use of the Property by the Rental Party and Guest’s visitors is entirely at their own risk. Guest will indemnify and hold harmless Owner from any and all expenses, costs, damages, suits, actions, or liabilities whatsoever arising from or related to any and all loss of or damage to personal property, injury or death resulting from the use or occupancy of the Property or the failure of any member of Rental Party or Guest’s visitors to observe the Rules and restrictions set forth in Paragraph 1 above.

8. There is a $150 fee for dogs staying at the Blue Pearl. This fee will assessed as a separate charge following confirmation of your rental.

9. Booking the Property constitutes acceptance of the additional rules and terms listed in items 1-8 above.

Excellent home

We really enjoyed spending time with family and the layout of the home provided a diverse space to enjoy different activities. The downstairs bar was a lot of fun, we enjoyed the karaoke a lot and watched a few games on the tv provided. The porch upstairs and the livingroom were nice for relaxing conversations and quiet meals. The neighborhood is one of our favorites with close beach or fishing options. This is one we'd likely return to in the future

Time away

For starters, I think it would have been nice to have left more than one roll of toilet paper, and paper towels for our stay. Maybe a couple extra trash bags. The sunshade on the balcony is broken so we weren't able to roll it back up. We did have a disabled adult that was not able to stay the last 2 days because the elevator was not available for use. Overall it is a great little house but please mention in ad details for clean up before checking out. I would have contacted someone during our stay but my phone was not able to connect to wifi to make any calls or emails.

Very nice house

The house was perfect for our stay. The house was very cute, clean and set up well. Loved tge decor. Kitchen was supplied with everything you needed to cook. The BBQ area was great and the BBQ was in great shape. The bar and karaoke was a blast and a great place to hang after being at the beach. Fully fenced for your fur kids. We have stayed at a lot of houses in Sea Isle and other beaches out the west side. This one will for sure be on our favorites list.

Beachy Family Fun

Stayed over Easter weekend with my family (spouse & 2 children) and another couple with their small child. The location had easy access to Sea Isle beach front across the street from the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very family friendly and there was a free egg hunt for the kids at the park. The house is adorable with a clean, bright color scheme. We enjoyed opening the garage doors downstairs while we sang karaoke and lounged in the breeze.

Ready to Book Again!

What a wonderful time! We have rented several homes in the area over the years and this is by far the best. The house is very well maintained and had all we needed. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We are looking at dates for nest summer.

Amazing Weekend!

Attention to detail was amazing! It’s the little things right? Aloe in the fridge for sunburn, spices, the stocked outdoor shower, the welcome basket- The pub was so fun with the karaoke- my daughter and her friends made memories to carry for the rest of their lives! Such a great weekend!

Relaxing beach vacation

Me, my wife, 4 year old and 1.5 year old stayed at the pelican pub for 4 nights. We had a great time. The house was clean and very pretty. It’s clear the owners put a lot of thought into the home for their guests. Every tv is equipped with Roku so all you have to do is sign into your streaming accounts and you are ready to go, and each tv has a remote holder attached to the wall so you never lose the remote. The kitchen was loaded with everything you could need. Baking sheets, pots, pans, plates, cups, even olive oil, and different seasonings to cook with. They even had fun colored kids plates, bowls, cups, and eating utensils. Coffee maker had Kcups but we brought our own coffee so we didn’t end up using them. And the shower had a little dispenser on the wall with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The wifi was also fast and had good range. It worked all over there house and in the sitting areas outside. The downstairs bar area is really cool. The kids loved Disney songs on karaoke. We didn’t utilize the bar as much as we would have liked, but if you are going with friends this would be an absolute blast. The outdoor sitting area has a fire pit and is a great spot to relax. We also brought our dog and enjoyed throwing the ball for her in the yard while hanging out in the sitting area. The yard is fully fenced in so perfect for dogs! The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after the beach. We also rented the golf cart which I highly recommend. It’s super convenient to drive across the street to the beach and not have to track all the sand into your car. It’s also fun to drive it around the neighborhood. We went down the street to a park in the neighborhood and the kids played. And we also drove it to the marina shop and restaurant which was really nice. Lastly the communication with the owners was fantastic. They were very attentive and quick to respond to any messages in the app. After we left and finally got back home I received a message that the cleaning crew found a laptop... my wife left her MacBook somewhere in the house. Mark and Angela happened to be in Galveston as well and were coming back to the Houston area the next day. They went above and beyond and literally delivered it to our house. Just an amazing gesture that shows the kind of people they are! All in all this was a 5 star vacation. We will definitely rent with them again and I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed if you rent the Pelican Pub!
