On Beautiful Chain O' Lakes Illinois in-between Nippersink Lake and Grass Lake. This 3 bedroom 2 bath lake house is smack dab in the middle of the 14 beautiful lakes that make up the Chain O' Lakes. Relax on the front porch or the second floor deck and watch the boats go by, witness beautiful sunsets each evening. Bring your Boat to enjoy all the lakes have to offer. Water skiing, fishing, sand bar tie-up, fine dining, bars and night life. Enjoy winter ice fishing, snowmobiling and skiing Nearby

The space
Large 2200 sqft house with lots of extended living area with heated garage, 2 deck areas and back yard. The house is located in the middle of the Chain O’ Lakes. It is in between Nippersink lake and Grass lake. Entire house on a quiet private drive.

Dining space: very roomy area with large table for 10 and bar seating (3), comfortably seat 12-14 and plenty of room to set up folding table/chairs if needed.

Sleeping space: 6 beds in 3 Bedrooms with option to pull out 2 additional floor mattresses/linens (twin and double) that can be used in any room. There are also couple of cots/ beds and sleeping bag as well.

Guest access
You can use the whole house, garage, lake, dock, front yard and back yard. There are also a kayak and canoe you can use.

Other things to note
1. Master Bedroom: In the closet, there are 2 additional mattresses (twin and full floor mattresses) and complete set of linens/pillows/blankets for each. Plenty of room to set up in any of the bedrooms and easily moved where the extra bed space is needed.

2. 3rd Bedroom: Setup as a Queen and 2 twin beds, however, there is an option to convert the two twins into king bed if preferred. Please request this option in advance and we will have it ready.

3. All Bedrooms (Optional): We have just installed track room curtain dividers in each of the bedrooms to have the option to separate bed space for privacy. Easily draw them closed to minimize sound and light between beds in room. (New in feb 2021).

4. Office space (2) : full size desk/chair with printer in master bedroom sitting area. Smaller desk/chair setup in 2nd bedroom as well.

4. Garage: large, oversized, heated garage that extends the living/gathering space with bar area, couch, table, game area, speakers/sound system/karaoke setup, and full screen and projector for movies/TV watching!

5. Dogs are welcome for addl $30 fee per dog. (Please no cats due to allergies).

we had a wonderful time staying at this place it was right on the water. I had family members who was able to go out oe the water and enjoyed their time. It was big enough for my whole family.

Weekend Get Away with Friends

the location is perfect, the garage is the perfect set up for a good time, the house was clean and had everything needed, with tons of instructions/labels for any questions you might have. rented a boat from down the block and docked at the house when not on the lake. Highly recommend this place. (bugs could be bad at night with the lights on)

Great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We loved being by the water and it was great to sit on the nice deck furniture and enjoy the lake. Plus, Jeff was great to work with. I'd highly recommend this home and hope to be back!

Long Weekend on Chain o’ Lakes

Jeff’s place is a perfect spot to enjoy the Chain o’ Lakes. It’s about a 3 minute walk from Port of Blarney, which has some pretty good drinks and food. They also have a shuttle that takes you out to Blarney Island, which was a blast! We also rented a pontoon boat for a day right next to there from OTC Rental and had a blast on that. The house is nice and clean. There are 3 bedrooms on the upper floor that comfortably sleep 8 adults, but you could sleep a handful more if desired. The garage is so cool and a great place to hang out and sing some karaoke. Only slight downside was that it was a bit buggy in the area (at least this time of year), so make sure to pack bug spray. Also, the front door lock wasn’t seeming to work for us to lock the place when we were there, but Jeff told us of a way around it that ended up working fine for us. I would highly recommend renting Jeff’s place. It is a great spot in a great location for fun on the Chain!

Great Great Great location

We had a great time. The location was beautiful, the house was exactly as pictured, and everything we needed was available at the house. There was q2 of us in the house and we found plenty accommodations for all of us to sleep comfortably. Instructions were thorough and easy to follow. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a nice place for your family.

Navy boot camp family

I was hesitant to book this house due to distance to Navy boot camp graduation and not knowing the area. I am so glad I did not let either of those things stop me. This was a beautiful home in a great area. Very clean and fully stocked. Jeff was amazing and very quick to help with our coffee pot needs. We were able to chill with our new sailor the whole weekend and has everything we needed to just enjoy him. Thank you so much Jeff for sharing your home with us these are memories we will never forget.

A family celebration/early Thanksgiving worth repeating!

This was exactly what we were looking for, centrally located for my family. Whether coming in from O’Hare, the city, or one of the suburbs getting to the property was easy. The game room brought out everyone’s competitive nature with lots of laughter, clapping,, and shrieks of glee! Truly a family weekend to remember and hopefully do again!

Fantastic well-equipped getaway from the city

Jeff’s place has all you need - beautiful location right on the water, kayak and canoe to use, huge house with ample beds and seating, and karaoke, card table, and basketball in the heated garage. Lots of thoughtful touches like black out curtains separating the bed spaces in the two spare rooms which were essential with kids. We were two small families with young kids and we had a blast! Hosts were quick to respond, and even went the extra mile returning some items we left behind. You won’t be disappointed!
