great place to stay

the house was very clean, and well maintained. located in a nice neighborhood. we had all the things we needed to make dinner and breakfast at the house. house was empty, with the only tv in the living room and not enough space for everyone to sit, the house is loud at night (mostly with the wind) and the up stair echos. with all that being said we would stay again

Felt like home

A beautiful clean quiet neighborhood with plenty of parking. Had all the amenities I needed. Cozy beds and master bathroom was relaxing. Everything in the house was in tip top shape. If I ever traveled out here again I would definitely stay here. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Host was very friendly.

Post stay remarks

Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. We did find 2 bugs in the beds. I have photos but cannot send in this submission. We can send if requested. For a family of 5,we did not have enough seating in front of the tv in the family room. Plus,it would be nice to have a tv in the Master Bedroom. The automatic soap dispensers had a lot of rust which fell on the counter in the master bathroom. Please inspect the handle in master shower. Inside the knob appears to be mold. In addition,check the handles(hot/cold) in Master bathroom. They are loose.The creamers curdled our coffee. You need a larger Keurig machine. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Just some constructive criticism.

Great Stay in Pataskala

We enjoyed our stay at The Palace. The location worked great and the hosts were very accommodating. Quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed how it backs up to a community park.

Beautiful house

The house was really lovely and well kept, super clean, but they do charge extra to use the washer and dryer because of previous renters. However they did waive it. I wish it was a few miles closer to where we were working because then we would definitely stay there again

Perfect Pataskala Stay

I was so excited to see VRBO pop up in Pataskala as there are NO close hotels when I go home to visit family. This house was perfectly designed to host extended family visiting in from out of town, close proximity to all things Pataskala, clean and well equipped as a rental property.

Great place to spend the night

Needed a place for 6 adults and two kids to sleep vs getting 3 motels rooms. Worked out great.

Pataskala house

The house was lovely and indeed very close to the park, accessible by a short walk down the road or through the back gate from the garden. All the furnishings were comfortable and we chose to use only one of the four bedrooms but any would have worked. It was in a quiet neighborhood although there were a couple of motor bikes which went by. We would gladly stay there again if we needed to have somewhere east of Columbus but accessible to stores etc

Sweet home on w

The home is very nice, super clean and well stocked. The location , on a large park, with walking trails was nice and the large back yard with a beautiful tree , filled with birds is lovely. The only slight negative was the constant reiteration of “the rules”. We arrived late in the evening of our first night and Jay had asked me to call to get additional details of the house . I thought he was going to tell me about an alarm system or something if that nature. Instead, he started going over the “rules” again. At 11:30 at night , after a long day of travel, I thought it was a bit much. I have rented homes all over the world , for many years, and have never had this experience. I understand wanting to safeguard your property, but there is google and you can check out your renters in advance. Also, a binder with rules, suggestions on things to do, etc..would help as well. Overall is was a nice visit,we were in town for our son’s graduation, and the home is clean and cute.

Wonderful

My family and really enjoyed the house. Supper clean with all the amenities that anyone could ask for. Jay, the owner was lovely and reached out to us during our stay to see if there was anything we needed. Very comforting for our family to be together during a very difficult time. The house is wonderfully decorated as well.

very comfortable house, nice back yard

Had a very nice stay at this house - the house is big and comfortable and was a great fit to our needs. the big park at the back is awesome, had nice time walking around during the weekend. couple of need to knows: the listing (at least at the time when we booked the place) noted that the property has washer and drier. this place was a weekend stay in a middle of a road trip we took, so we kind of relied on this. however, we were contacted by the owner night before arriving stating that using that involves additional payment. we could not understand why, or how much is this additional payment. the communication with the owner in this matter was very slow, and we ended up finding a different solution for our laundry. another point is that the owner had many verbal house rules which were not communicated in any other way. nothing of them were a big surprise, just that i was communicated via phone in the last minute after a long drive to the house. will list here what i remember for the benefit of future renters: * do not take things from the house * do not move furniture * no shoes in the house * no cooking with strong odor the "do not move furniture" rule was a little problematic for us as the TV room have one 3-seat sofa, and we were 7 people, so some of the kids ended up sitting on the floor. not fun, but not a big deal.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT

The home is absolutely beautiful. Very clean and a great neighborhood very quiet its perfect for a family. Step out the back yard to a park. Jay was great to work with. Easy no contact check in and out. The home is very spacious and had everything you need. Would definitely stay again. Stephanie

Friends weekend

A group of friends traveled from out of state to celebrate a 50th birthday with an Ohio friend. The home is decorated beautifully, kitchen well stocked with with everything you need. Jay, the host was easy to communicate with. We will definitely stay here on our next Ohio trip.
