Private Guesthouse With Amazing Views

You’ll love our private and very cozy guesthouse with full modern kitchen, washer/dryer on-site, oversized shower, spacious bedroom with very a comfortable king size mattress, a couch that turns into a queen size bed AND the most amazing view!

We do have 3 security camera on the property (above the attached garage, in the corner of the main garage, and directly across from it on the tree). They all are easily visible and are not monitored. They are there to protect both guests and hosts and footage is only viewed in case of an issue.

Great location

The place is spacious and easy to get in and out of, though it does have a steep driveway. Because it's access is easy, it is also close to the Poway Road which means cars are heard whizzing by. The owner has a sound machine available to help minimize the sound. Aysa is responsive to needs quickly. Lemons and oranges grow outside the front door!

Grand kid visit

Here to see our grand kids. Lovely shaded patio in the morning to enjoy your coffee and relax. Only downside is the kitchen couls be better equiped with cooking utensils and an extra chair in the living room woukd be great. It has plenty of space and good value.

Responsive owner and perfect location

Guesthouse was pefect for our needs - far enough away from sprawl of the city and near hiking paths. Asya was very responsive in dealing with Internet problems caused by recent storms and touched base regularly to make sure everyhting was okay.

Good location for our events

We were in Poway for a reunion and the location was ideal for all the events with friends. The location is very close to a very busy street so road noise was an issue. The linens all had a very strong fragrance of laundry detergent. The shower had black mold on the tile grout. There was old moldy food left in cupboards in the kitchen. The view is a bit different than on the website. There are refinery tanks in the view. Other than that it was a nice place. We will not return or recommend.

Great view and comfy unit

Had a wonderful 2 week stay. The unit is very roomy for 2 people: large kitchen and bedroom. The highlight is definitely the outside patio and the great views, especially wonderful in the morning and at sunset. It's very private, with its own parking spot. You definitely need a car, but stores and restaurants are a short drive away, and the coast is less than 30 minutes away. There is some road noise, but for us it was a non-issue, it becomes white noise in the background. Asya was wonderful, responding quickly to any communications or requests. We would stay here again!

Beautiful view in Poway

Perfect size for a couple. We really enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood, sitting on the porch in the anti-gravity chair taking in the view, and the beautiful weather! You could hear some traffic noise at night and in the morning, but it wasn't too bad.

The views were beautiful and the drive there was also really scenic. The owner helped me a lot and checked in a couple times to make sure that we were doing fine! Def recommend

Beautiful view

We stayed 3 nights and had a very good experience. The unit is accessible (no stairs) which was good for us. The bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the awesome view while swinging on the porch swing. The road noise is tough, but it's only really a bummer first thing in the morning. Otherwise the location was super convenient. The owner was friendly and extremely responsive. Great for a getaway for 2.

Our place in Poway, aka “The City in the Country” is our little oasis where we go to unwind, relax, and reflect on life. It is 20-30 miles away from all the major attractions San Diego has to offer: zoo, Legoland, downtown SD, Coronado, Miramar base, museums, beach, and fine dining. Lake Poway and Potato Chip mountain are just a few minutes away and many of our guests do enjoy hiking in our area.
