Welcome to our mid-century modern home in the peaceful Del Cerro neighborhood, conveniently located about 15 minutes from so many of San Diego's main attractions and five minutes from San Diego State University. Our home has amazing sunset, canyon and Mission Valley views from its hilltop perch and plenty of space for you to rest and relax during your stay in San Diego.

**Please note that we are a pet and smoke free home and therefore have a strict no pet and no smoking policy**

Our favorite place to stay in San Diego

We have booked Casa Del Cerro multiple times and keep coming back because it's amazing. The house was the perfect place to celebrate our SDSU graduate. The location is so close to campus which made it convenient for the graduation ceremony and for our son to come back and forth. We hosted a grad party lunch after his ceremony. We enjoyed the fabulous weather and wonderful lawn and deck space that accommodated everyone perfectly. Our family and friends commented how comfortable the house/outdoor area was and loved the amazing views. We could not have asked for a better celebration space.Mona and Randy are gracious hosts and very easy to communicate with! Having booked many VRBOs, this is much appreciated.Since our son will stay in SD, we know we will be back and can't wait!

perfect, quiet get away

this vacation was about getting some much needed R&R and visiting our daughter who attends SDSU. The house is really only 5 minutes from campus, very well appointed, comfortable and CLEAN! We hope to stay there again!

SDSU VRBO

We had a fabulous stay at Mona and Randy’s home near SDSU during my incoming Junior daughter’s moving out from apartment and moving into a house. The home was a perfect place to relax after a busy day of packing up and building furniture. The home is less than a 5 mins drive to SDSU campus and is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood. There is an Einstein Bagel, community grocery store and a gas station nearby. The home is up on a hill and has a beautiful view of the canyon below and a beautiful sunset view. There are many amenities that we did not get to enjoy due to our schedule. There is a fire pit and outdoor grill. The house has everything you need and more. It is very spacious yet inviting. It is beautifully decorated. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want a home in the SDSU area. We will definitely book again in the future!

SDSU Grad Weekend

We were so lucky to have found Mona & Randy's lovely home for SDSU graduation weekend. They were the most generous hosts and accommodated all of our needs. The location is perfect if you are wanting to be close to campus. The house itself has everything you need and an amazing yard with incredible views. My only regret is that we didn't discover this gem when our Aztec started school. But we will most definitely book any time we are back in the area!

Delightful home at a great value

Mona and Randy's home is such a beautiful, roomy, yet cozy place. The neighborhood is delightful charming and quiet. As you drive up this 2.6 Mile boulevard then down the hill to the last house of the longest cultisack I've ever been on, you have arrived! WOW what a view overlooking the canyon from the cute front yard, inside and the wrap around deck! We sat in the living room and out side on the deck every night watching the sun set. I had my morning coffee and read my book in the cute little over look with the over sized chairs. This was such a great stay for our family – the upstairs living room, dining area, office , kitchen and half bath all supplied with eveything we needed including a very strong wifi signal. The downstairs bedrooms had the most comfortable beds with very well insulated walls so no disruptions to anyone sleeping. I can't say enough great things about this well kept amazing home and our stay. We would love to come back!! Thank you again Mona and Randy for letting us stay in your fabulous home. Perfect

We stayed at this location over a four day period. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, (what we wanted), the view is great, the place was clean, and stocked with everything you might need to cook with. The check-in process was painless and best of all, the beds were the most comfortable beds we have ever experienced. There is easy access to the rest of San Diego including La Jolla. We will definitely book again. Thank you!! (It’s a great looking house :))
