Welcome to the Sugar Pine Suite -—your mountain home-away-from-home at Sun Peaks.
The Sugar Pine Suite is a bright and spacious 865 sq. ft. private suite with ski-in access right on the slopes of Tod Mountain — and just a 7-minute walk to all the shops, restaurants, and activities in Sun Peaks Village.
Step out onto your private deck in the morning with a coffee, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and keep an eye out for passing wildlife. After a day on the trails or slopes, relax in the open-air hot tub, reserved just for you during "odd" hours. There’s also on-site parking for one vehicle.
INSIDE THE SUITE
You’ll enter through a large foyer — great for ski boots, coats, bikes, and more. The suite opens into a sunny living space with 9’ ceilings and picture windows that frame stunning mountain views.
The main living area includes:
• A comfortable sitting area with 2 sofas and pot-belly fireplace
• HDTV, movie & book library, games. Ask about baby items.
• A full kitchen - well equipped
• A dining table for 6
• Warm colour tones, wood accents, thoughtful decor
The home’s Prow-style design brings in lots of natural light and makes the mountain views a constant backdrop during your stay.
BEDROOMS
• Bristlecone: Queen bed, mountain view, closet, and a twin sleeper ottoman
• Jack Pine: Queen bed with a twin-xl loft bed, closet, and hanging storage
Beds have lodge quilts, New Zealand temperature-regulating wool pads and premium cotton sheets for a great sleep.
The suite bathroom has a tub/shower and plenty of counter space for all your essentials.

Our family lives throughout BC, and Sun Peaks location is central to us all, with many seasonal activities for everyone to enjoy. We've incorporated flexibility into the design at Pinetree Chalet Sun Peaks - we call the separate 2-bedroom level the "Sugar Pine Suite", which can be added to a main house rental, or booked separately. We're delighted to welcome other families to enjoy Sun Peaks year-round.
Skiing at Sun Peaks is a wonderful experience, with runs for all of our family - from little ones just learning the pizza wedge to 30's extreme and grandparents still perfecting their curves through wooded peek-a-boo slopes. There's also alpine trails for snow shoeing and x-country skiing; Mountain biking, hiking, nearby lakes, golf, watching the ever-changing mountain views and wildlife from your front-row seat on the deck or great room. Sun Peaks Village was described by one of the "kids" as a Mini-Disneyland - stroll through the pedestrian streets and explore the restaurants and shops.
At the end of a fun-filled day, kick back and relax at the chalet surrounded by lodge decor: wood beams, 9' ceilings, procured bedding, nature-inspired art, comforts of home - the total experience offers an escape from everyday life. The Sugar Pine Suite inspires a memory-making getaway.

In summer, listen to the streams that run right next to the property and follow them on your hike up the mountain.
The Sugar Pine Suite is available first to groups as an add-on to renting the Main House. If the Sugar Pine Suite isn't rented with the Main House, it will be made available separately. It is fully available within 30 days of arrival.
Groups will appreciate:

Adding the Sugar Pine Suite to a Main House rental allows extended families to stay together. This separate space offers a private oasis with a separate entrance (no inside access) - whether a newlywed suite, or grandparents who want to retreat from time to time.
