Oceanblock 4 bed / 4 full baths with Courtyard, Outdoor Shower, 2 Decks

Oceanblock, and one block from Bethany’s main street, this newly renovated 4 bedroom, 4 full bath beach home is perfect for your next vacation.

The house is a mere 150 yards from the beach, with no need to cross any major roads or highways to get there.

Renovated in 2021, this beach house sleeps up to 12 guests and features a well-equipped kitchen with gas stove, living room with two large sofas, family size custom banquette dining area, an enclosed front porch, and an outdoor shower for post-beach cleanup.

At the rear of the house, two decks offer still more space to rest and relax, overlooking a stone-paved courtyard that’s perfect for grilling, lounging, tossing beanbags/cornhole, or just watching the children play. A large outdoor dining area in the courtyard is perfect for a crab feast.

With driveway parking for 3-4 cars, you can park your car and simply walk to the beach, boardwalk, and Bethany’s downtown shops and restaurants.

Children are welcome! A highchair and pack ‘n play are available at no additional charge. As is customary in Bethany, guests provide their own sheets, linens, and toiletries, and we are happy to recommend linen-rental companies.

This beach house can be rented along with two additional units at the rear of the property--creating up to a 7 bedroom, 6.5 bath compound, with three kitchens and separate spaces perfect for larger gatherings and multi-generational vacations.

Excellent house and location!

We were pleasantly surprised at just how roomy this house is. It worked perfectly for our large group and you can’t get a better location in Bethany. We hope to rent it out again next year.

Awesome Location!

The house is conveniently located about a 2 minute walk to the Bethany Beach boardwalk. The check-in process was seem less and the owner was responsive. Highly recommend for a great beach week!

The kitchen is well equipped with a large dinning table and a lovely beverage refrigerator. It could use a few more wine glasses. Loved the courtyard with the hot tub and fire pit. Great location!!! The king bed mattress upstairs in the front bedroom (bedroom 4?) definitely needs to be replaced. Having four bedrooms and four bathrooms was awesome. The sunroom in the front was relaxing for morning coffee. Lots of TV’s. The game closet for rainy days and nice beach chairs was a plus. The host is very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable.

Great host, great house, would definitley stay again!

From the moment I booked, the host was extremley kind and accomodating. He was very communicative and was able to help us with any questions we had. The property is in a great location and had tons of space. I was hoping the hot tub would have been open, but beyond that no complaints!

Amazing property and location!

Loved it!!! Property was clean, bright and owner was very communicative and friendly! Plenty of room for the kids to run around and play, and the adults took advantage of the courtyard, grill and deck to hold all of our beach gear and coolers! The location couldn't be beat. Five minute walk to the beach and boardwalk, food and shops was key!

Second time - just as wonderful!

It was our second time staying at this property. It hasn’t missed a beat! We had four adults and five kids. The house was comfortable, clean and bright. We loved having both decks for a place to put to our beach stuff and hang out. The location can’t be beat! Steps from the beach and easy to run back and forth to the house to grab a chair or food. Bill and Ash are communicative, quick to respond and helpful. We would absolutely stay here a 3rd time!

Exceptional stay in Bethany

A spacious, well-kept house with several nice-sized rooms for adults and a room with bunk beds for kids. A really nice and bright enclosed front porch area, upper decks for grabbing some sun, and a courtyard out back with grill. The location is unbeatable, a little more than a block from the boardwalk and also from the main drag. And owner Bill is outstanding, very attentive and quick to communicate. Would stay again for sure, highly recommend!

Perfect location for an easy vacation

The house is literally a short block away from everything—beach, boardwalk, restaurants and icecream shops, you name it. We loved sitting outside in the backyard or balcony too. Bill, the host, has been so helpful giving us a lot of tips, in terms of recommendations and how to keep our two kiddos entertained. Cannot ask for a better vacation rental!

Hard to beat

This was a repeat and we love the place. Plenty of room, fully supplied kitchen, so convenient to the beach and downtown. Lots of beach chairs. Owner was extremely attentive. Lovely courtyard setup behind the house, with benches, grill. Overall a great vacation.

Bethany Beach

The hosts were extremely communicative and the house itself was wonderful. Beautiful balcony, outdoor shower for the beach days, and right next to the Bethany Beach boardwalk. The only downside is you must provide bath towels and bed sheets (blankets and pillows are covered), but again the hosts made us aware of this well before our visit and had a few friendly reminders! Would definitely recommend for larger groups or families.

Wonderful Location

We really enjoyed this beach Vaca rental. Property had been updated after we had viewed it on the VRBO site and results are beautiful. Accomodations and kitchen supplies (dishes, pots, pans, etc) were plentiful. The home is clean and well maintained. The location is great, close to beach and "downtown"/boardwalk area. Only issue is intermittent WiFi outage that was being addressed by the owner. Would definitely rent here again.

Spring Break Getaway

We decided very last minute that we wanted to get away for a bit for Spring Break. Luckily we found this house available! After reaching out with questions and booking information, we received prompt responses and a very accommodating host! The house is in the perfect location. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and to the action on Garfield Parkway. The house had more space than we needed for our family of five. We loved the outdoor space with the fire pit and hot tub. We would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great house in a great location in Bethany Beach!

Great Beach House

Amazing location - 1.5 short blocks from the main drag and from the beach. The house is newly remodeled and looks great; it's clean and modern feeling. Dual master bedrooms upstairs plus a kids room with 2 bunk beds (so 4 beds). Then one more bedroom on the first floor. Great patio off one of the masters upstairs, plus a first floor deck below it and a sunroom - all great places to hang out. The house could pretty easily hold 3 couples. The house is fully stocked with loads of beach equipment - mainly chairs and umbrellas, but also a couple of boogie boards and beach toys. Plenty of parking available We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Bethany Beach.

Memorial Day Family Get Together

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this VRBO rental for our family’s get-together over Memorial Day weekend at Bethany Beach! The property had been recently updated and was incredibly beautiful. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed – from cookware and dinnerware to coffee makers and cooking utensils. We could comfortably sleep all 12 of us, which was perfect. The best part of our stay was undoubtedly the location. Just a 2-minute walk to the beach and numerous restaurants made it incredibly convenient. For groceries, a quick 5-10 minute drive to Giant covered all our needs. We highly recommend trying Pomodoro if you're in the mood for fantastic pizza. It's worth noting that you need to bring your own bed linens and towels, or you can rent them – this is standard for Bethany Beach rentals, so it wasn't an issue for us. The owners were fantastic, maintaining excellent communication throughout the process. They were very friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to check in early and leave late (just be sure to check with them in advance). Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend this rental for a memorable beach getaway!

Family Memories

We had a wonderful long weekend with our children and grandchildren! This property is very nice! It was walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Bill, the host, was great to deal with. We would definitely stay here again!

Just terrific

We were a large multi-generational family group that rented the big house and the two bedroom apartment. Everyone loved the place. The well-equipped kitchen, the location near the beach and downtown, the spacious bedrooms and baths. So much fun! And I can't forget the "courtyard", between the house and the apartment in the rear. We spent many memorable evenings there, around the picnic tables and and chairs. Very good layout.

We have vacationed in Bethany as an extended family for 30+ years. This house is nicely appointed and well cared for. Bedrooms and baths are great spaces. Living area could use some more comfy seating. The patio area was the icing on the cake. Thanks for providing a beautiful place to stay.

Beauty house with great location

This is our 2nd year staying at this house. It is a nice house with a great location. Quiet street but only a quick walk to the beach and the downtown strip/boardwalk. Would definitely stay again.
