Great location in Gatlinburg

This is the 2nd time myself, my husband & our two teens have stayed here. We absolutely LOVE the location as it is walking distance to the main strip (no traffic & parking headaches) and a few minutes drive to the mountain trails. Owners are also VERY responsive! We will stay again.

Hiking in Smoky Mountain National Park

We were visiting Gatlinburg to hike in the national park. This place offered the perfect location for accessing the park and the various hikes. It offered free parking that made walking into Gatlinburg in the evening for dinner easy and enjoyable. Balcony was perfect - beautiful views. Easy check in, great communication.

Communication between sites

I overhaul assessment of the property was very clean very comfy. We had stayed there a couple times before even in the same room never had an issue this time the bathtub and the main hallway didn’t work when I made an inquiry it took him till the end of our day, which is fine because there was issues with my phone anyways because it wasn’t working and I couldn’t get their text messages and emails from me, but when she said it was a pole to pull it out and turn on the water, it didn’t work that way either. I felt like I was being interrogated over the air conditioner issue. I didn’t realize that I had turned it down like that low and then when I fixed the part when we fix the problem then the person who kept contacting me insisted I leave the door and windows closed and the curtains and made me feel like I could not go out on the patio.

Cindy did not read our rules which describe that you will freeze the air conditioning up if you turn it below 70. That’s exactly what she did. I never mentioned anything about not opening windows but I told her if she wanted to keep the room cooler while the air conditioning Was frozen up that you would need to keep the blackout blinds closed. It did take a number of hours to get this resolved after she froze the unit up and I needed her cooperation to be able to do so. As far as turning on the shower, I told her it was a pull handle when her message finally arrived. She never contacted me saying that there was an issue after that. I’ve never had to think I had to go and physically show someone how to turn a shower knob on, but I guess that was what should’ve been done. It is a very simple shower control that you pull and turn and it does work. We also informed her that these third-party information through VRBO is delayed and to contact us directly through our phones. It does make it hard when people do not read even before their arrival .

We absolutely loved this condo. It was clean and so nice inside. I LOVED the way the owners have it decorated. A little farmhouse style inside which I really like. The location is wonderful and very quite. The owner was amazing and responded fast. I would definitely recommend staying here.
