Casa Bonita es una lujosa casa con vistas a la piscina y al océano en la famosa playa Shacks. Situado frente a la playa en el punto junto a la playa de arena, no encontrará una mejor ubicación. Practique snorkel en el gran Blue Hole, surf, SUP, kite, o simplemente relájese junto a la piscina. Impresionantes vistas, terrazas cubiertas, barbacoa, cable, AC, WIFI. Home está cerrada, privada con increíbles paisajes. Perfecto para viajar con abuelos. Este alquiler, con 3 BR incluye unidades adyacentes de la planta baja. CB1 tiene 1 BR y se puede configurar como rey o convertir a gemelos. CB2 tiene 2 BR con 2 gemelos y una reina. Cada unidad tiene cocina, aire acondicionado, TV de pantalla plana y baño completo. A tan solo 10 minutos del aeropuerto (Aguadilla) o una unidad manejable desde San Juan (2 horas +/-). No hay party'rs pesados ​​por favor. Somos un complejo tranquilo. Don’t miss this paradise!

We have stayed at many locations and properties, but this place is exceptional on both counts. The beach, the pool, restaurants, the surrounding activities and beautiful villages are all so easy to enjoy. Add to this the wonderful folks that own the property, you cannot go wrong! Lovely Stay

Our second time at Casa Bonita and it was as awesome as we remembered. Surfing snorkeling and beaching just a few steps from the home out front. The pool and deck are lovely anytime of the day. Hosts are gracious and unobtrusive. Walking to dinner at Eclipse and Ola Lola’s for an amazing time. Great places to hike and explore in the area and of course Jobos beach less than 10 minutes drive for drinks dinner and more surfing! Private, quiet and relaxing stay.

Gorgeous Location

We loved staying at Casa Bonita! The views are incredible, the beach is beautiful and the accommodations are clean, comfortable and well stocked. There are lots of things to see and do in the area, and Larry & Margie were very knowledgable and helpful with their suggestions. It was a perfect getaway for our whole family. We'll definitely be back!

Shacks Beach

Three sisters and their partners enjoyed a week at the beach in an ideal setting… two apartments underneath the owners main house were very private, roomy, comfortable and well appointed. Shady patio space with lots of seating options, a pool to ourselves and a gorgeous view of the beach made our stay absolutely perfect!

Casa Bonita is amazing!!!!

Beautiful spot directly on the ocean. We had 6 people stay in the two apartments. Very comfortable beds, everything you need to prepare meals and cool when you need some relief from the sun. Delicious food is close by and the property owners are great people. Highly recommend to families and couples. We are looking forward to be able to return.

Paradise on Shacks

Casa Bonita was the perfect vacation spot. We rented both units and it was just right. Property is incredibly well maintained, pool was clean, owners were responsive and super friendly, with a local property manager available. Location on shacks is incredible, close to amazing snorkeling. Took day trips to many nearby beaches, but afternoons at shacks were glorious. We’d stay again in a heartbeat (and are planning on it!)

Great week!

Great location, beautiful property. Better even than the photos. Super beach with great walks both directions and snorkeling right out front. Reasonable restaurants nearby. Larry was a super host. We like to try different rentals but plan to go back to this special place.

Christmas at Casa Bonita

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! The accommodations were perfect for our family. My husband and two children (age 20+) enjoyed beach access, beautiful decks and outdoor dining. The location was close to several beaches to surf, bodyboard , or lounge without crowds. Owner Larry and family gave us privacy, but were available to answer questions if needed. Beautiful property and location- it was hard to leave!

Perfect Beach Getaway

My husband and I have been coming to Shacks Beach for 30 years and I’ve always wanted to rent this property. It is perfectly situated. This year he couldn’t come so I took some girlfriends. It was great to be able to show them this community that has a special place in my heart. Having the pool deck adds a level of luxury that was the cherry on top of a great girls’ getaway. Special thanks to Vincent, the caretaker, who had a guy there to unlock my car within 15 minutes of our arrival after I locked my keys in the car with all of our luggage inside!

Casa Bonita - Jan 2020

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect location, wonderful owners. We were lucky to have several calm days for snorkeling, and on all days enjoyed walks on the beach, the beautiful views, and exploring the area - including hiking to Survivors Beach, the "Katarina" sunset cruise in Rincon, Jobo's Beach, Crash Boat Beach, the window cave, and the ruins in Borinquen. We also enjoyed so many of the local restaurants and found everyone to be welcoming and friendly. We were thankful for all the tips given by Larry and Margie and loved everything about this vacation. You could not top the accommodations at Casa Bonita!

Unlimited fun

Could not imagine what more we could have needed. The location is supreme; there are so many places to explore within driving distance , and spectacular (!!) snorkeling right out front as well as a nice break for surfing.... The oversized, covered patio was a comfortable outdoor living space that keeps you cool when you need a break from the sun. There are plenty of restaurants (and a grocery) within a 5/10 minute drive. We found every aspect of the property to be perfect for our party of 4 adults and we will be coming back soon!

Celebrating a 50th birthday!

What a great trip, this is a perfect house for celebrating a 50th birthday. The in-law suit worked out perfectly as well the extra space is nice. Casa Bonita is very well equipped house add the pool and hands down all you need is a swimsuit and snorkel gear. Dinning alfresco and using the bbq keeps the mess out of the kitchen and the breeze allows for very comfortable summer days. I really cannot say enough about this house except “if you have shoes on, your over dressed.” We will definitely be back.

I’d like to give this a bad review so that no one else will stay there (and it will always be available for us!) Casa Bonita is wonderful. It is on one of our favorite beaches, off the beaten path, private, with never too many people on the beach. It was wonderful to have our own pool which we used everyday (as well as going in the ocean.) In the morning, the water temp is refreshing, in the afternoon, it’s lovely and warm and perfect after a swim in the ocean. The outdoor living space - a large patio with a view of the ocean - was where we spent ALL of our time. There are multiple places to hang out on the patio, some shaded and others in the sun. There’s a lower and upper deck (perfect for watching the sunset.) Everything about the house and the location is wonderful (and pretty close to perfect.) The grounds are lovely, the apartments are spacious and comfortable, private, quiet, great view. I honestly can’t imagine anything to improve on.

You need to stay here …

Background: I went to high school in Puerto Rico — lived on Ramey AF Base — and have returned for visits every four years for the last 25. Casa Bonita is, by far, the best place we have stayed. 1) The location: Shack’s Beach is not crowded. You can take miles-long walks on the beach and pass (maybe) 20 people. If you're there in the winter months, there is constantly action on the water to watch: surfing, kiteboarding, standup paddleboard surfing, kite surfing, hydrofoil surfing. 2) The accommodations: perfect. You can cook or go out to eat; you can take a dip in the pool or take advantage of the lounge chairs to read, or nap, or watch the action on the water (either in the sun or on the shaded patio). The linen sheets are a wonderful touch, as is the outdoor shower.3) Back to location: within a short drive are beaches where you can take surf lessons, grab a bite to eat/drink or simply float in the water — all beautiful. And Ola Lola's, a short walk away, has some truly amazing fish tacos.4) The hosts: accommodating and a pleasure to meet.We will be back. If it were up to us, we'd be back next week, but alas ... work.

What an amazing spot!

We had the most amazing trip to Casa Bonita. This property is exactly as described—two adjacent apartments which can be rented together for some more space and privacy. Both apartments have everything you’ll need for a comfortable stay. The kitchens have all the supplies you’ll need to make a meal, and there are grocery stores nearby for supplies. We enjoyed Eclipse for a beautiful meal right on the beach and fell in love with Ola Lola’s, a local bar with great food and a lovely atmosphere . Verde Azul is a local surf shop that took excellent care of us and we would highly recommend it! There’s great surfing and beautiful clear water at Jobos beach which is a short drive from Casa Bonita. If you just want to hang out at the house, Playa Shacks is absolutely gorgeous—we took beach walks each day and it never gets old. The sunsets from Casa Bonita are to die for!! Hosts Larry and Margie are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and they are a wealth of information. This is an incredibly special spot and we can’t wait to go back!

Loved the location right on the beach! The view is incredible! We spent hours walking miles on the beach and snorkeling and hanging out by the pool enjoying the view and listening to the waves! There were lots of surfers, paddle boarders, kite surfers, etc riding the waves right ifront of the house, so its a great location if you're into those sports - and they're fun to watch if you aren't! The pool was nice for cooling off. Lots of areas to sit outside in the sun or shade. There's a foot bath and hose as you come up from the beach as well as an outdoor shower - very convenient. We enjoyed walking down the beach for dinner at Eclipse. Ola Lolas is a short walk/drive and super cute with good food. Jobo's beach is about a 1.5-2 mile walk down the beach or a short drive. The waves were calmer there and easy snorkeling to the right where the rocks are and there's some places to eat and drink there, although the only place we ate there was Tsunami - the staff was really nice and the food was pretty good. The waterfalls in San Sebastian were only about a half hour drive and we enjoyed going there. A few minutes drive up the hill is a food truck area and one of the trucks sells acai bowels - so good! The Palmas restaurant is about a block from the food truck area and was really good and we liked the staff and people there - all so nice! Overall, it felt like a home away from home and we had a wonderful, relaxing vacation!

Perfect Family Vacation!

My husband and I and our four girls (ages 15, 11, 7, 4) stayed at Casa Bonita for a month this past summer (2014). It was the most memorable and relaxing vacation we have ever taken. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment while our girls stayed in the two bedroom. We were a little hesitant to be separated from our girls (even though it was only by a wall) but felt a lot better when we realized we could lock the door from the outside when it was time to go to bed. We told our oldest where the key was in their apartment in case of an emergency but otherwise we would unlock the door for them in the morning. It ended up working out great! My husband and I enjoyed having our own space after we put the girls to bed. The apartments had everything we needed and we cooked at home often. We even used the grill a couple of evenings. We alternated exploring the island one day and staying home and enjoying the beach the next. Our girls loved the freedom to explore the beach and the snorkeling was amazing. The pool and outdoor shower was also great. Horseback riding on the beach is within walking distance and we loved it! Our favorite place to eat was at Palmas Cafe nearby. We probably ate there every other day and even ordered a cake from them for a birthday party. Larry was great and was always available if we had any questions. Staying at Casa Bonita exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it! We look forward to going back. Thank you so much!

The property is exactly as described. They are two apartments, one two-bedroom, the other one-bedroom, located on the ground floor. The apartments themselves were comfortable, well-appointed, working AC, clean, and in every way measured up to an A+ rating. We were very happy with the accommodations. Outside the doors to the apartment is a covered area with couches, tables and chairs. The grill is nearby and it was an absolutely lovely place to sit. The pool was perfect. We are a family of six, with two teenage boys and two small children and we had a blast splashing around and having a great time. It was clean and just like the photos. The property is beachfront. The beach itself has very few visitors. You will see a few people here and there, but it is not a busy beach. It's not a great beach for wading into the water as there are rocks that are difficult to traverse in all but three small areas along the beach. However, for the teenagers and adults, it wasn't a problem to put on some water shoes and then go for a swim. But it's not the sort of beach where you will be playing in the waves too much. It's more of a walking on the beach, snorkeling or swimming beach. The surrounding area offers food trucks in both directions, many restaurant options, and a well-stocked grocery store. Of particular note, within walking distance is a restaurant called "Ola Lola's" and it's really a super place to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend. I would absolutely stay here again. A++

We are the Biasotto's from Ocean View, Delaware. We are a semi-retired family who spends time in Puerto Rico as well as in the states. While in PR, we live upstairs at Casa Bonita and are available to assist our guests with anything that they might need. We bought our property at Shacks Beach simply because there is no better ocean front location in Puerto Rico. As you can see in the photo's, the beauty speaks for itself. The ocean at Shacks provides every recreational activity imaginable. Swimming, surfing, SUP, kite and windsurfing, snorkeling and diving. Conditions here are world class.
