La propiedad cuenta con 6 habitaciones y 8 baños, donde cada habitación tiene su propio baño para su comodidad. También una cocina en ambos niveles. Cómodas, increíbles vistas desde nuestros balcones y cubiertas, 2 piscinas y pasos del agua y de los restaurantes locales. Tenemos todo lo que necesitas para tu escapada. We had such a great week with 12 family members! We had so much fun hanging out in the awesome backyard that we didn’t venture out much except to eat out. Great breakfast/lunch place right across the street. We did the trail to Survival Beach and really enjoyed it but not a leisurely trail. Alex was an amazing host!

The house was spacious with many rooms and two kitchens. We chose to use the upstairs kitchen as the main cooking one. We were near the beach with a walking path next to the house. It was easy to access. We found a door leading to the path connected to the house so it wasn’t necessary to walk from the street, but only realized this after a day in our stay. The pool was fun for a dip and there were plenty of places to lounge over coffee or reading.The two issues we had to be aware of were the stairway and the slippery floor. Our family is tall and many members bumped their heads on the narrow winding staircase, and we had to be extra careful if walking with wet feet on the floor, but otherwise the property was comfortable and accommodating. And in lugging groceries we realized there was a ramp beside the house that led to the street side entrance, so the stairs could be avoided. Beautiful property! We would rent it again!

Very walkable to the beach. The grounds and outdoor spaces are amazing. We had 11 people at the house and never felt crowded. Were able to walk to Jobos which is a great location. Would love to visit again. VERY good communication with the owners

Perfect for our large group!

We had 15 of us stay and it was perfect! One more bed would’ve made everyone have a proper sleeping spot but it worked out with the couches. What a perfect spot- we loved surfing and swimming at Jobo’s beach and taking short trips to food trucks and restaurants. We loved the vibe of the western side of the island. Perfect spot for our large family vacation! So many spots to relax away from the noise at the house.

Large Family Stay for a Wedding

We had a family member get married at this part of the island and had a large group. This house was SO perfect for everything our family needed! So close to the beach (Jobos beach is the best! Cafes (Good Start!) And food trucks within walking distance. A oerfect memorabke vacation!!And food tricks in walkimg

birthday weekend

Maria's house was perfect for us -- a large group of old friends for a reunion/birthday celebration. We took full advantage of the extensive outdoor space for hanging out, and enjoyed the easy access to the beach from the neighboring path. While the walk along the highway to restaurants is a little dicey, it's short and convenient. Maria was very responsive to the few questions we had. Highly recommend.

Our two families loved staying here! The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfectly suited to our needs and were comfortable. The AC and the fans in the bedrooms were great! The outdoor amenities, including multiple seating arrangements, were used for playing games and eating outdoors. The only thing that would've been good to know was the ocean water on our beach was full of sea urchins. But, if you go to Jobos Beach just down the way, the water is clear and perfect!

Island Oasis

This property is uniquely situated in the middle of all you want in a small community. Amenities are all you need and aee exceptional. The outdoor shower came in handy coming off the beach that was just 3 minute walk from the property. Absolutely gorgeous. We look forward to our next trip. Thanks

Family Gathering

We had such a lovely week in Jobos! Our family hosted a family reunion/gathering to introduce our college/adult-age children to my father's roots in nearby Aguadilla. What a joy to stay so close to everything and experience an authentic and laid-back area. We loved cooking in the kitchen, grilling out, snoozing in the hammocks, exploring all the beaches and towns, as well as having long fun conversations in the pool. What a joy to gather together and celebrate summer and family. Thank you for a truly unforgettable stay.

Great space for a group

This is a great house for a group. There are six bedrooms, five of which have en-suite bathrooms. The sixth bedroom is off the kitchen and there is a bathroom nearby. The outdoor living spaces are great with lots of areas to relax in the sun or in the shade. There is plenty of room for dining as well and cooking and grilling were easy. The beach is close enough down a path. It is a ten minute walk to Umas, a great beachfront restaurant. I would use this house again.

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious two-story home in Isabela with our group of eight adults. Having a kitchen on each floor was a big plus and also having 8 batghrooms was a lifesaver. We loved enjoying breakfast and morning coffee on the upstairs balcony with views of the pool and a peek of the ocean. There are also many places to relax on the property if you want to step away from family and friends. The pool area was great, and the house is close to beautiful beaches—Jobos is perfect for adults, and Montones is calmer for families- these are a short drive away. Beach access directly from the property is a bit tricky due to vegetation and dunes, and the beach there isn’t ideal for non-swimmers.The house is well stocked with beach towels and chairs, which was very convenient. It’s a beautiful home, though the stairs and uneven pool stonework may be challenging for older adults (abuelas). There is a market and food trucks (some close early between 5pm-7pm) a short drive or walk away and there is a cute breakfast place across the street. Our host, Alex, was AMAZING—super responsive, attentive, and went above and beyond, even bringing us fresh local bread and pastries during a storm and was there in 5 minutes if we needed him. We truly appreciated his hospitality! A great place to stay with family and friends and my family and I strongly recommend staying there!! Thank you Alex!!

Not quite what was advertised

The house appeared close to the ocean and in fact it was a hike down a very narrow and not easily navigable trail (my 80 year mother could not make it). There is a very large home/property between this property and the ocean. You can see the ocean from the property but only from a couple spots on the upper deck. In general the house was fine, but definitely not the view or perceived distance that the listing portrays. I would not come back or recommend for these reasons.

A perfect vacation!

We had 9 adults and one teen. The house was more than big enough. We even had one or two empty rooms. Alex was amazing - responsive, helpful and full of suggestions for things to do. The home exceeded expectations. The pool, the hammock, air conditioned, plenty of parking, walk to beach and restaurants. It was just perfect. Our favorites to do: Walk to beach and relax by pool. Family dinners outside. Bio Bay - go through Paradise Scuba in La Paguera (best deal and great folks). Old San Juan and Castillo San Felipe Fort. Dinner at Palo Restaurant and Breakfast at Blessings Cafe. Book it. You’ll be glad you did!!

Amazing week in this amazing property!

Beautiful and clean property! My family of eighteen fit comfortably in all the rooms, and the fact that there are six bathrooms, meant no one was ever waiting to use one. We had a little issue with an air conditioner in one of the bedrooms on the night we arrived. Alex came as soon as we called him and stayed until he figured out and fixed the problem. Very attentive landlord who made every effort to ensure we were comfortable in the house. Casa Vela is adequately priced for all the amenities it offers! Privacy and beauty come naturally for this property and it's the perfect location for a wedding, family reunion, large group of friends, or just a great party! Definitely planning to make another trip to this location!

what a wonderful place!!

our group so enjoyed our visit last week! everyone had a blast and the house was perfect for our group. alex was so helpful and gave us lots of advice and extra amenities, etc. having the surfboards was great and some of the guys had a great time surfing at jobos and also at wilderness. we are definitely thinking about renting the place again next year - the house was very accommodating for our group which fluctuated between 12 and 18 over the course of 5 nights. having two kitchens was great, and we spent almost all of our time outside on the beach, around the pool, or walking down to the bars at jobos and watching surfers and kiteboarders. having the outdoor space made the place so much more inviting - pools and bbq area, plus the two patios... and the views were gorgeous. from the decks we saw rainbows and iguanas, plus the gorgeous ocean! thanks for everything!

Great location walk to Jobos, Alex is fantastic!

Even if the house wasn’t as great as it was I would have given this 5 stars for Alex alone. Our family and my brother’s family always spend New Year’s together and this year we were part of the Southwest fiasco. Alex went out of his way to try to help us. I must have texted him 100 times the day we were supposed to arrive. We finally made it a few days late but I’m glad we decided to come even though the trip was much shorter than I would have liked. We loved Jobos Beach, much better than Rincon area beaches. From the house it’s a short walk to the beach and then a longer walk to Jobos. It looks like a long walk but it’s really not and the breeze is always there so not hot. Once there we rented chairs and umbrellas and surfboards and ate and drank mojitos at the beach bars. Every morning we walked to blessings cafe for breakfast. I won’t waste time in this review repeating what others have said about the house, I’ll just repeat that the tree house with hammocks was a favorite. The kids also enjoyed walking to the beach at night with their phone flashlights on to hunt ghost crabs. I saw reviews about the showers, a couple are finicky but we figured them out. The master bedroom has a tub like faucet - pull down on the metal ring around it to get shower on. The other bedroom that has a balcony (smaller than the master) the hot water works but you have to sort of move the handle all the way up until it sort of “catches” and then gently but firmly move it to the left (it should be stiff to move). And be patient the hot water takes a while. Everybody had the best time and we would definitely like to stay here again! Alex promptly responded to all my texts and had recommendations for everything! Restaurants near by were all good - Palo churasco was the best we had and we tried churasco everywhere we went!
