Carolina Hooked:Oceanside home w/pool, hot tub, tiki bar, fire pit & more!

Private beach home with enough space to fit 16 of your family and friends. Centrally located in Nags Head our location is prime for wedding groups, beach goers, fishermen, restaurant enthusiast, sand dune climbing and list goes on and on. Enjoy the large yard with Tiki Bar, Grilling station, Saltwater Pool, Hot tub, Fire pit, and Corn hole. Outdoor shower and fish cleaning table available for your convenience. We are a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive to the closest public beach access.

Top-Level:
Kitchen, dining and family room area. Kitchen has all utensils and appliances needed to prepare any type of meal to include toaster/convection oven and air fryer. Coffee Bar with Keurig and 12 pot coffee maker available for your convenience. Family room area has pullout couch(sofa bed), electric fireplace, 55” Roku Smart Tv provides a perfect spot to unwind and relax. The balcony has an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean with a balcony railing table to enjoy your sunrise breakfast and coffee.

Mid-Level: 4 Bedrooms
Two Master King bedrooms with attached full bathrooms. Both King rooms have access to the wrap around deck which oversees the back yard. One Queen bedroom and one 4 bed bunk room. One full bathroom in the hallway to share between the Bunk and Queen room.

Ground Level: 1 Bedroom
Entertainment area with 65" Roku Smart Tv, Wet bar, Wine cooler, and Infinity game table with several of your favorite games uploaded and ready to play. One Queen bedroom, one full bathroom, pullout couch(sofa bed), Washer/Dryer and Full sized refrigerator.

Extras: All linens are included as well as towels, wash cloths and hand towels. Every bedrom has a Roku TV with many apps loaded and ready for watching. Each shower is equipped with filled body soap, shampoo and conditioner dispensers. Each bathroom has one roll of toilet paper, refills are not provided. Liners are in every trash can, refills are not provided. Beach chairs, toys, wagon and unbrellas are provided as well as pool floats and toys.

Disclaimer: For the safety and security of our guests and property there is a driveway-facing survaleince camera. No pets and No smoking allowed.

The house was fantastic for our multi-family stay. Plenty of room and amenities. Close to multiple public beach access. The pool, tiki bar, hot tub, and fire pit were all put to great use. Much fun and many memories were made during our stay. Also, the host was very nice and easy to deal with. Would stay again.

House was very clean and well maintained. Very central to beaches, restaurants and activities. Owner was very responsive to all our inquiries. All amenities were as stated, and her guide to nearby activities and services was perfect and very helpful. We had a fantastic time!

We had a group of 11, and everyone had a wonderful time. The house was very clean, and we had a lot of fun using the pool, playing Cornhole, and hanging out by the tiki hut. Beach access was not a problem for us. We brought our bikes, and it was an easy ride to the beach. I was a little concerned about the road we were on, but we never had to ride our bikes on that busy road, the sidewalk

Place was nice. Only problem was the AC on top floor. Unit could keep temperature down but could not keep out the humidity. always had a muggy feel.

Perfect family rental home

Loved this home for our family. Perfect space for all ages. The pool was perfect! The infinity table is great for all ages. We all enjoyed playing the games while cooling off from the hot weather. Owner is attentive and quick to respond to our needs.

Amazing property!

The place was better than advertised. All rooms were clean and spacious. The yard proved to be the focal point for our trip as it was more than accommodating for our large group. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in OBX. Thanks again to our host as they were very responsive whenever we had a question

Great place for the family to get together

Nice house for a large family to stay in. We had 8 adults and 4 kids. The bunk beds were a hit with the grandkids (and their parents). Kids enjoyed the pool and adults enjoyed the hot tub. The digital game table was a hit. House was clean when we got there. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with utensils and appliances you might need. You can see the ocean from the back balconies of the house, but not really walking distance to any of the public beach access points. Overall, great place and location to other things. A few things that were not so good: It would be great if there were beach towels to use. We shouldn’t have to use the same towel we use for showering to also use for the pool. It’s not convenient to have to pack beach towels when traveling by plane. The gas grill was so full of grease from previous use that it caught fire during preheating. The burners should be cleaned, so they work correctly, as well. In the tiki bar, it would be better to have a dart board that uses plastic tipped darts. The metal darts were rusty and we didn’t feel comfortable trying use it with young kids running around. The driveway enters right onto a very busy street. I realize that can’t be changed, but want potential renters to know you can have challenges coming and going from the house. Even with those issues, would still recommend for a family get together.

The Perfect Place!

This house was beautiful and absolutely perfect for our destination wedding. Sueann was wonderful to work with, the house was clean, and beautiful and had everything that we needed foe our group of 12. Location is central to all the fun things we wanted to do. Bed was comfy and the ac worked Amazing. The downstairs bar was nice for our poolside days. I will absolutely be booking this home again for our next family vacation

Vacation to OBX

This house was a great size for our crew. We had 7 people stay and would have had room for more to comfortably stay as well. The bedroom and bathroom setup was great, the view is beautiful and the location was nice for getting around OBX! Plenty of beach entrances nearby made beach time very easy!

Best rental home we have stayed at!!

We planned for all of our adult children and spouses along with grandbaby that is under 1. Would have been 11 counting the baby. We ended up only having 7 of us all adults. The check in was a breeze! Sueann answered messages within minutes!! She has been the best host we have ever had! The home was immaculate!!! Everything was thought of including 2 family size electric griddles in the kitchen!!! Plenty of dishes, utensils and even had a nice high chair and baby gate if we had needed it. It is 3 floors. The upper floor is the kitchen and living room and dining room.. plenty of room for a large family. Middle level had 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Comfortable beds!! The bottom floor had a hangout room, bedroom, bathroom, small kitchenette and washer dryer. They had an awesome game table and we loved the speakers! The pool and hot tub were very clean!!!! The yard had plenty of fun things. We did not go to the beach since we had so much fun at the house. We did go to Ocracoke which was a whole day event but so worth it! We went to the beach while there. The house is close to everything you would ever need! Book this place. You won’t regret it! In fact I booked our stay for next year while we were still on our trip. We just got back a little while ago and already miss this place.

Fun-filled & family-friendly

We loved staying at Carolina Hooked over 4th of July week with 5 families of 3. We loved how family friendly it was. The baby gates, high chair, pack n play, fenced-in yard, pool, toys, and infinity table were amazing to keep kiddos busy. The only downfalls were the distance to beach and the sand spurs. Neither of these can be avoided or improved by the owner. Communication with owner was great and we had no issues our entire stay. Overall I would give 4.5/5 stars.

Family Vacation

This home is absolutely AMAZING!! The kids bunk room has been moved to the main sleeping quarters which is a great move. The outside amenities were great! Everything that you could possibly need is in the kitchen. They even provide pool floats, beach chairs, and a wagon. You literally only have to bring yourself and clothing. The view of the ocean is really only able to be seen from the 3rd floor, and you can hear the ocean at night when the traffic is next to none. The access to the beach is a little more difficult than we anticiated. But all in all, this home and the host is PERFECT!!!

Property was great. I did have the impression it would be easier to access the beach. I have never rented a property like VRBO and had a wonderful experience.

Great stay

We had 3 families stay here comfortably thanks again Mrs Myers! House was great pull out couches had food and crumbs and things in them but definitely not unexpected and not enough for us to give a bad review. Only concern was our toddler was able to open all main doors with ease child locks set up high would be a plus especially with busy street out front. But overall we would stay again for sure. Thank you

We are centrally located, close to the beach, sound, shops and restaurants. From grab and go to fine dining, indoor and outdoor activities are only minutes away. Great location, great friends and family = great time!

We have worked hard and have made many upgrades. Adding the tiki bar, fire pit and grilling station have made it the place our family loves to stay at! We have done most work ourselves and we believe it’s the best on the beach!
