When you stay in a Sugar Beach condo, you’ll have access to one of Maui’s best beaches for strolling, sunning, and swimming right outside your door. Choose from oceanfront views, ocean views, or garden views. The one and two-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condos are all perfectly suited to your home-away-from-home Maui vacation. All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A nice stay, however..

We mostly enjoyed our stay here for our 10 year anniversary trip. We loved that it was not in a busy part of the island and it doesn’t have a city feel to it at all which is what we wanted. We loved the view from the balcony. The WiFi was a little spotty but that is not a deal breaker for us. The pool was wonderful and a nice place to spend the afternoon when you don’t want to deal with sand. We liked the onsite parking with no additional fee like you get at resorts. Literally the ONLY thing we didn’t like and I wish I had seen someone else mention when I was researching this facility, and I will also say this is no fault to the condos or this company but I feel it’s worth mentioning cause it is a deal breaker… THE SMELL FROM TELHE HARBOR. I completely understand no one can control the smell of the harbor or the direction the wind blows. I 100% know that. I just feel it’s worth mentioning that every single day from the hours of like noon-7pm when the wind blows in the direction of the condos the smell of dead fish is overwhelming. And had I known that, I would have booked somewhere else. Again I know it’s out of control of Vacasa or the condo owner but I wish I had known my anniversary trip I would not be able to use the balcony or pool due to the smell.

Very nice condo, tastefully appointed. Loved the location, the furnishings and especially the shower. Could not ask for a better experience, everything was perfect!

Beautiful view. We’ve been there five times four different rentals, this was the best except the bathroom. Cannot rent that again.

Condo and complex is more dated than I thought

Overall it's quiet and comfortable, but we generally stay at a condo complex about four miles away that is far cheaper and much more updated. Overall they are comparable in noise levels (minimal) but this complex has too many units for our liking. And communication with the property manager was difficult as we arrived at 5:30 and the office was closed. Texted with a non human then gave up.

First Time in Maui

Loved this condo! Everything was clean and functional, view was amazing, thoughtful arrival gifts and location was perfect for exploring all parts of the island. Our favorite part was coffee on the lanai in the mornings and walks on the easily accessible beach in the evenings. We hope to come back and stay again some day!

Best Lanai in Maui!

The unit was terrific. Clean, very well appointed kitchen. Beach chair and umbrella were well used. A 10 min drive to Kihea’s famous beaches. Whale and porpoise watching at sunset from the lanai were the Best. Sandy beach, beautiful pool, and friendly people.

Our condo was right off the beach with the patio overlooking the beach. The condo was very nicely decorated with plenty of room to enjoy. Everything was well clean and amenities were available. I love the fact that they provided washing pod and laundry detergents, only missing dryer sheet. Everything else was great. Love the condo! Thank you! BTW, Kihei was perfectly located near airport, Walmart and Costco.

Best view and location in Kihei

We needed to get away and this Maui condo has offered us exactly what we were looking for. The Sugar Beach Resort is right on the beach. So relaxing. Loved the walks on the clean, soft sand. It’s a winner and we will return.
