Step across the street and enjoy Kamaole Beach Park II, one of Maui’s best swimming and stunning beaches. Revel in the spectacular sunsets or stroll along miles of white sandy beach at “first light.” Kihei Akahi is ideally situated and offers excellent value. This one-bedroom vacation condo features a private lanai, a cable TV, a telephone, free high-speed WiFi, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a complimentary, in-suite safe. A tennis court and barbecues can also be found on the property’s beautifully manicured grounds, in addition to ample free parking. Enjoy a cool swim in one of the two pools. Great shopping and a variety of restaurants are also just minutes away from your doorstep.

* The Kihei Akahi property mandates that all guests occupying condos must empty the AC condensation drip pan on a daily basis to prevent overflows. Please contact Vacasa for additional information.

A mandatory $25.00 check-in/resort fee will be assessed.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Perfect Retreat

We stayed here as we were moving to Oregon and out of our Kihei home. Amidst the chaos of moving it was an incredible treat to retreat into this calm and welcoming space. Everything we needed was there including toiletries and kitchen essentials. This house is spotless and comfortable, not to mention located in such a fun part of town. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

This property was in a great location. Very clean and perfect for our family. We loved all of the extras in the cupboard…. Esky, boogie boards, beach chairs/umbrellas and so much more. Grounds were very well maintained as were the two pool areas. On-site parking was a plus. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and the price is right!

Loved our stay here! It was perfect for my husband, myself and our two elementary aged kids. Private laundry was a plus especially with small children. Extra beach necessities were perfect and the location was the best. Steps away from the beach and restaurants/shops. Kids also loved the pool and the garden view was a bliss to wake up to every morning. We would definitely stay here again in the near future! Staff was kind and wonderful and made sure we were settled in nicely with everything we needed. Thank you for making us feel welcome on our stay!

Great Value for the area

The condo was clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated what was available at the property and in the area for the price. Having a washer and dryer was a major plus for us to go home with clean clothes!

It was a little dirty towels smelled bad oven dirty some dishes dirty bedding stained. No laundry soap or liquid Washer was dirty with sand And so was every corner of the house but nothing I couldn’t clean myself All an all we had an excellent stay. Would love to stay there again if I’d travel to Maui again.

Perfect place to work remotely in South Maui!

This condo has it all: mountain, garden, and ocean views and is a 3-minute walk to the beach. It's fully stocked with beach gear to play and kitchen appliances to cook at home. The blazing-fast wifi is strong enough for two people to be on Zoom for three hours. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores are accessible by walking or taking the bus; no rental car needed. We stayed in July and August and never needed the AC; the wind keeps things cool. We'll definitely be back!

The location is really great. You will have everything you need for a day at the beach (which is just across the street). You can see the ocean from the balcony-we even spotted some whales! I highly recommend this place but with 2 notes of caution. 1. The only A/C is in the living area, so the main bedroom is very hot. You can try to open the windows, we actually slept on the pull out bed next to the AC and were much more comfortable. 2. The main bedroom mattress is VERY firm. Sleeping on the pull out bed was much more comfortable for my husband and I. We felt that it was an easy fix to change where we slept, so if you are over a family of 2, maybe you should take this into consideration. Other nice things are that you can walk to local restaurants and shops, the area is very clean. Quiet hours are observed- noise was not a problem. Kihei is a great spot and super convenient. `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`
