Choose from oceanfront views, ocean views, or garden views. The one and two-bedroom Sugar Beach Resort condos are all perfectly suited to your home-away-from-home Maui vacation. All Sugar Beach Resort Maui condos feature a private lanai, a fully-equipped kitchen, free WiFi, a washer/dryer, and all the resort amenities you’d expect from the best hotels.

It’s comparable to a 1970s motel

First I would like to say I have emailed the management company several times and never heard back. Don’t waist your time unless you are desperate. The place is overpriced for what you get. Anything you sit on is broken from the chairs at the table 2 legs on 2 different chairs are broke. The chairs on the patio are rusted or broke. The couch is so hard and uncomfortable you find sitting on the floor with pillows from the bedroom your best bet. There is mirror along the whole wall which is cracked and covered up with red heart stickers we just kept shaking our heads. The front door looks like it had so many things on it then ripped off and covered with different color paint and patch work. The walls haven’t been painted since maybe the 80s with chips and dirt all over. I would have fathered shortened my trip a day or 2 and stayed at a hotel. For a condo Vrbo you need to bring everything not a salt or pepper packet or even ice made in the freezer. I took pictures I’m assuming there is no owner most like just a management company. Don’t waste your time. My honeymoon in Maui was definitely not the experience I was expecting thank heavens the island was beautiful and we found wonderful things to do to get out of the condo.

Sugar Beach

The views in the unit are awesome. The furnishings are in very poor repair. Outside table and chairs are horrible, cushions have no padding. Living room couch is not comfortable at all. Beach umbrella was broken. No beach towels. Beach chairs are very nice. A/C broke down the day before we left and was never really fixed. Doors to patio are very hard to open. We come for the view and it was great but not fun to sit out on that patio furniture!

Nice, clean condo. Bedding needs to be updated, needs new pillows and coverlet. Also lanai furniture need to be replaced. Location is great, love sugar beach. I would defintly stay there again.

Great location on the island, and the unit is in a great spot on the property. Has everything you might need and was very clean. Only caveat would be that the linens and furniture are clearly showing their age and it would improve a lot if they were replaced/updated.

Stay at Sugar Beach Resort

This condo was perfect for a beach get away. A path to the beach is right by the condo. Great location to travel to activities; nothing was too far. Was not at all overcrowded like some of the other areas. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Amazing! Perfect spot.

This is the best location on Maui. It's central to everything and you have the longest beach in Maui at your doorstep. I loved the sunsets and the morning walks on the beach. Nicely remodeled condo with all the amenities you need!

Great location on Sugar Beach

We loved this condo location - the view is to die for - sunsets are amazing and whale watching from the lanai in the morning is always a nice way to start the day. Well appointed kitchen with all of the items that you could need for your stay - includes an ice maker which is a dream come true. Bed was comfy with extra pillows and sheets available. Bathroom had plenty of towels. Beach towels provided are worn - could be replaced. We had to rent beach chairs - unfortunately, only one chair provided was not in great shape and should be replaced - it would be nice to have at least two chairs for guests. Beach umbrella is broken, and should be removed or replaced. Furniture was sufficient and presented as shown in photos. Couch is a sleeper sofa, so not super comfortable to relax on after a day on the beach; we did not use the sleeper set up. It was nice to have a television in the bedroom for those early nights. Washer and dryer in the unit was also a nice perk. Check in and parking were easy and we would stay at this condo again.

A comfy stay

We have stayed at Sugar Brach resort four times. The location can’t be beat and neither can the quiet beautiful beach. This condo was really nice. I appreciate the upgrades to the kitchen and bathroom! The bed was comfy and A/C worked really well. More beach towels would be a plus and an extra beach chair also but we would definitely stay again. Thanks for hosting a lovely little spot!

A fantastic view and pleasant stay

Sugar Beach is a great central location to travel to all parts of the island. The miles long beach is absolutely beautiful for morning and evening walks. Great spot for kids with a very small beach break. The air conditioning was not working when we got there at 6PM on Thursday but was fixed but 8AM on Friday. Very responsive team that took our calls into the night to get it fixed! Bed is very comfortable as well. Great spot to rent! `This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.`

We love sugar beach. The property it’s self is so nice with the pool and the sandwich shop downstairs. The condo was perfect. The view is incredible with ocean and palm trees only a few feet away. We walked the beach every morning. The kitchen is nicely updated. Loved our time in this unit.
