Welcome to Twisted River River Ranch. Our quaint western styled Cottage sits on 30 beautiful acres. The inside is decorated to make your stay as comfortable as home, if not better. All you need to bring is your clothes and food . If you are traveling to an event with a horse we have stalls , a wash rack and riding arena with flag for 50.00 more a night per horse for full care ,but needs to be arranged in advance .

Diane was a wonderful host and property was beyond our expectations. Horses, chickens, roosters, pond, bridge, greenhouse, arena, the BARN. A little slice of heaven.

Peaceful retreat

This sweet country cottage was comfortable and cozy and the hosts were delightful, offering special treats of tea and honey and homebaked bread. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need! A very relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful Farm

I stayed 2 nights and loved it. Fresh eggs, cheese, muffins, water and butter were in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and more. Very nice and welcoming.

A Beautiful, extremely clean property!

We stayed at this lovely cabin to attend and help with our son's wedding. The hosts were so nice and welcoming. We were able to sit outside in the mornings and evenings and watch the horses and enjoy peace and quiet. It was the cleanest property we have stayed in for awhile. Highly recommend this property.

Outstanding experience

The house was exceptionally clean and organized, nicely decorated with everything we needed. The property was magnificent. Horses, cattle, a beautiful pond and access to the river. The hosts could not have been nicer and more welcoming. They made the trip seem like we were staying in a family home.

Twisted River Ranch Weekend Stay

My wife and I enjoyed a weekend stay at Twisted River Ranch, during a visit of the local covered bridges and the downtown Eugene area. The cottage was charming, but the real star of the visit was the beautiful farm with gorgeous pond , gardens,barns, pastures and extensive wildlife. A visit highlight was sitting by the pond early Sunday morning, so peaceful. The proprietor, Dianne was a pleasure to visit with and was very attentive in assuring that any needs were met. What a pleasurable stay!

Scenic and Quiet

The location is close to town but in the country. It was peaceful and cozy. We were visiting family so didn’t spend much time at the property. The kitchen amenities are plentiful and Diane brought us fresh eggs!

Most helpful host ever!

By far the most enjoyable host we have ever experienced using VRBO. The cottage we rented was extremely well equipped and our all of our needs were met and then some! We really appreciated all the nice touches like bottled water and comfy foods left for us. The bath sheets and bedding were very comfortable and luxurious! We had a wonderful stay and will do so again when returning to Eugene.

Wonderful stay at the ranch!

The space was perfect, the location too. The ranch was so enjoyable and entertaining with horses, cows, chickens and dogs, they welcomed us right in. What made this so special was Diane! She was wonderful to talk with and she shared fresh eggs and garden produce with us. Our stay at the ranch was a perfect ending to our 2 week trip in Oregon. We will be back!

This is truly the best place I have ever stayed. I was impressed by the beauty of the property, as well as the hospitality of Diane and Tom. The quaint little house was comfortable and had everything we needed & more. Petting the horses and the arrival of two calves that morning was an unexpected surprise. Looking forward to coming back! :)

Wonderful Experience

I can't thank Diane enough. She was an ideal hostess and exceedingly kind. We enjoyed spending time walking their huge property and swam at the private river front. The first night she provided us with fresh eggs from her own hens, and even saddled up her sweet mare and let our daughter ride her around the arena.

Perfect serene and beautiful spot!

First off, great communication and easy check in. Was offered flexible check-in/check-out options. Easy directions to the location. Driving up to the ranch we knew this was exactly what we were hoping for. Serene setting while still close to town. We pull up to the beautiful horses, cows and chickens. Cottage was exactly as pictured and described. Comfy, cozy and was perfect for our needs. Stocked with everything we could ask for. Even fresh eggs in the fridge! Now let’s talk about the hosts. BEST, MOST HOSPITABLE HOSTS WE’VE EVER ENCOUNTERED! Came as tenants and left as friends. Anything we needed or wanted was available. Great communication and so friendly! They went above and beyond. Even cut us a path down to the river on the property. Will definitely be coming back to stay again when we’re in the area!

This was hands down the best place I could have asked to stay. Down visiting my daughter at school. Wanted something a little quiet but still close to town. Wonderful!!! Diane is amazing. So sweet and has everything could could ever need there. Property is gorgeous and so well kept. Goodies in the fridge for us we weren’t expecting. Little touches that mean a lot. I am definitely coming back and bringing family with me. Loved it!!!

Beautiful property with gorgeous farm setting. Felt like an authentic rustic farm experience. Place was clean and cozy. Diane and Tom were kind, lovely hosts full of helpful tips. Came to area due to commitment. Absolute serendipity. Felt like a mini vacation. Had such a good stay that plan to make a vacation out of staying there again. If you like the bustle of the city and hotel constraints, this is not the place for you. But if you are looking to get away (while still minutes from Eugene), you could not ask for a more perfect spot.

Gorgeous location with PRIVATE RIVER

This place was great! The unit itself is fine - small but clean, no oven but yes toaster oven. Better bed than most rentals I've been to. But the real gem is that there's a private river! 2 minute walk to your personal rope swing, 4 minute walk to a shallower beach, both of which you have to yourself. Owners are super friendly and communicative. This place is a bit out of town, so if you just want to be in Eugene 24/7 it's probably not for you, but if you want a lovely home base that you can also spend a whole river day at, definitely pick this.

Lovely farm property & cottage with attentive host

We stayed for a weekend to attend a wedding in the area. The cottage was clean, comfortable, and had a cute country aesthetic fitting for the location. The farm is gorgeous, with a river nearby and lots of animals. It was dark when we arrived, and we were a bit unsure if we were at the right property at first, and nervous, due to large political signs, that if we were at the wrong house, things could be dangerous. Thankfully we were at the correct location. Diane came by after we arrived to let us know where to park, inside the gate. She was very communicative, generous, and hospitable. We were somewhat uncomfortable with attempts to discuss politics and the upcoming election, but Diane graciously dropped the subject when we did not engage. Overall a really great property and host, though!

Welcoming host with attention to detail and comfort.

Wow, this place was great! Very comfortable and nothing lacking. Cozy is an understatement! The pictures were good, but they don’t do it justice. Super romantic get away for my wife and I. We came up to watch the ducks play a football game and almost skipped the game to just relax in our comfy little house. Diane has really thought of everything. We’ll be back.
