The "Sandhills Oasis" Lakehouse @Lake Mac- Sleeps 15, Minutes from the Lake!

Our property is conveniently tucked back right off the popular Martin Bay northeast side area of Lake Mac. Whether you are looking to be near several of the most popular beaches (less than 2 minute drive or 5-10 minute walk), or want the privacy of just your own group, our destination house will check all the boxes! Lake McConaughy offers amazing beaches, great fishing, miles of boating and jet skiing, and unlimited fun!

Our spacious property is designed to relax & entertain! We have created a classy blend of a rustic lake house theme with 5* accommodations and amazing lake views. The property sits on 1 acre, is nicely landscaped, and has a nicely manicured lawn for family yard games.

It has 5 bedrooms, with and extra open room (6th), and 3 bathrooms, which allows for multi-couples or large families to come together to experience the best of summer "glamping". Once you experience the sun setting while having a nice toddy or two with your family and friends on the lake view deck, you will clearly see why we call it our "Sandhills Oasis"!

The house is a walk-out ranch setup which allows for a very open concept. The kitchen area boast tasteful granite counter tops, and the main areas of the house has tile or wood flooring throughout. The upstairs two living rooms have comfy leather furniture and a 55" 4k smart TV which allows you to connect to your favorite streaming apps. Each bedroom has authentic log cabin style bedroom sets custom made from Montana, along with top of the line bedding. All kings and queen size beds feature an adjustable head and feet base to allow for that perfect night of sleep.

The basement area has a rec room that has a pool table and bar area that will become a hot spot for fun and entertainment. It also boast (2) 65" 4k smart TV's to allow you to stream your favorite streaming apps.

The property has ample parking featuring a 2 car garage and cement parking spaces to accommodate several vehicles. It also has a gravel area to park boats, jet ski's, etc.

**Please note the driveway to the parking is somewhat steep incline, for that reason we do NOT allow any other campers or 5th wheelers on the property.**

Lastly, the property has a propane grill (propane included), Wi-fi, fire pit (wood not provided), and other games for family fun.

A Very Nice Oasis!

We really enjoyed our stay at the oasis! Great space for a three-generation family of nine. The large kitchen space worked well for family meals. The pool table was a big hit, and all the comfy seating worked nicely for everyone to relax. Very easy to get to all parts of the lake and activities/supplies in town. Great communication with the host - we are definitely planning to be back for another Lake Mac getaway.

The property was perfect for our families. Beautiful views of the lake, within walking distance of the water and I would rent the property again. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer.

Lake Mac Family trip

I would recommend this property to stay at when visiting Lake Mac! The view is absolutely stunning! This property was set up very well for our group of 12. It gave us plenty of space and was very comfortable. There were a couple of minor glitches but the owner was very good about taking care of everything! Thank you for your hospitality! We enjoyed it immensely!

Amazing house and location

This was our second time staying at this property for our annual Lake Mac trip and the house was perfect once again. We have 3 families and the house fits our group perfectly with the teenagers in the bunk rooms downstairs and the adults in the rooms upstairs. The deck with lake views is wonderful, and the outdoor space outside of the basement is great for hanging out at night, playing cornhole, including a firepit for making smores:-) Location is amazing, just a 5 minute drive basically right across the street to get to beaches. There is a store right down the road to grab ice before you head to the beach, and an adorable little restaurant/store that is walking distance with great food, last minute essentials, and a cute playground for the kiddos. Owner was great and very quick to respond to any inquiries. Love this place! We will be back!

Great stay and awesome location

We had a great time and really enjoyed the size and location of the property. Perfect fit for the two families that travelled together for the trip. We enjoyed Lake Mac, the Boxcar restaurant down the street, and ice cream at Lakefront Express. The owner was awesome with great communication before, during, and after our trip. Beds were comfy, living area spacious, air conditioning strong, and kitchen was well stocked.

Another fun stay! So convenient to be right next to the lake, especially on days if the weather gets bad. Owners are quick to check in and ensure you have everything you need for your stay. Great house for a larger group!

Family Retreat

The house was even better than expected. The weather kept us from the lake but we had a great time together. Pool, cards, corn hole, grilling, chatting around the table. The kitchen was well stocked and the two refrigerators very handy for a group. It was large enough to have privacy and the beds comfortable for those wishing to retire early and the view spectacular for those interested in late night star watching. Great location!

Amazing Home

What a great experience. Going to Lake Mac as a kid it was great to bring my kids! Tehl's home is amazing. It is close to the lake, clean, and comfortable. Tehl was great to work with. Very communicative and accommodating! Highly recommend this property!

Excellent property

Location!! Is perfect. Great rooms for hanging out after a fun day on the water. Wonderful outdoor space with fire pit. All the beds were extremely comfortable and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. I would highly recommend and hope to be back soon!

Wonderful family vacation.

This house was great; were there issues, yes, but not big ones. They are a relatively new listing and I am sure they will adjust, plus I am super clean and picky. There were a few things broken and the air conditioner was put to the test but it was, like, 100 degrees when we were there. The owners responded quickly to all concerns. They were great. I think a conversation with their housekeeping staff and the handyman would correct all the household issues. We were happy with the overall experience.

Lake views, with large area for yard games and family fun!

Beautiful well landscaped property large enough for small family gathering. Enjoyed outdoor games on the lawn overlooking the lake view. The grandparents could sit on the deck above and watch the younger kids play the yard games below. A couple mile drive to the lake so it was easy andquick to take the boat out for a ride or tube. Deck had beautiful sunrise and sunset views. I totally recommend this property.

Gorgeous at Lake MAC

We spent three nights at this home and it felt accommodating for a group of 9. We still had adequate room for others if needed. The space was incredible as there were a variety of sitting areas, TVs (If needed), pool table, bar, outside table, decks, and comfortable beds. We appreciated the convenience to the lake; super close to Martin Bay. It seemed nothing was missing as we had the large kitchen, laundry room, and game room downstairs. Additionally, the homeowners provided coffee and great Keurig machine. We would highly recommend this house to large families. If you have been previously to the Lake you do not find many homes in this nice of condition. And if you prefer staying on the beach, you are only 5 min. away from it!

We are Tehl and Kelsey. We are originally from small towns in western Nebraska and now live at the eastern end of the state. We are both professionals who work hard and play hard. We have 3 wonderful kids that we chase, love, and shuttle from event to event. We love to get away and unplug and recharge the batteries hosting our family and friends at Lake Mac!

We bought this property for many reasons, but we grew up at Lake Mac during the summers in our high school days, so we always dreamed of having our own "Sandhills Oasis" at Lake Mac! It's been a special place for our lives, and with the amazing views, spacious accommodations, first class amenities, it's a perfect spot to build precious memories!

Sitting on the deck with a beverage of choice and watching the sun set over Lake Mac is a peacefulness and comfort I only hope everyone gets to experience at our place!
