4 Bedroom Canal Home! Great Location!

If location is key, then this is the beach house for you! This home is located on a canal with direct access to the intracoastal waterway. It is a 8 minute walk to public beach access. You can also walk to restaurants, putt-putt and Town Center Park. Location is one street over from town park.
There is 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The master bedroom (with king size bed) is located on the main floor. It has a private bathroom. The main level includes a large open living space with a sleeper sofa. There is a half bath located on the main level. The entire house has new LVP waterproof flooring and new furniture. The fully equipped kitchen will more than meet your needs. This property has two refrigerators( one located in garage). Ample outdoor living space off the main level. There is a screened in porch with dining table that seats six and sun deck overlooking the water.
Upstairs there is three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Bedroom one has a king size bed with private bathroom. It also has a balcony overlooking the water. Bedroom two has 2 queen size beds and bedroom three has a twin over full bunk bed with twin trundle. There is a full size bathroom located in the hallway.
This home also has a ground level patio with swing, charcoal grill, propane gas grill and outdoor shower. Enjoy the use of the large shared dock to swim, fish or dock your boat. Direct access to the intracoastal waterway. There is also a fish cleaning table located beside the dock.
Large laundry room located on the ground level. High speed wireless internet provided. New tankless hot water heater installed for the 2022 season.
This home accommodates up to 13people.

We do have security cameras on the outside of the house to monitor when the house is unoccupied. They are turned off when guest are there. They are located at all entry doors. Upstairs on side of house, sun porch, and the door underneath facing canal. These security cameras are outside only.
We rent Saturday-Saturday during the summer months.

We had a wonderful stay! The house had a layout that was great for our family with one king bed on the main level and 3 additional bedrooms upstairs. The outdoor space was our favorite with a wonderful screened in porch and good sized dock on the canal. We look forward to returning!

Memorial Day Weekend

The location of the property is perfect if you have children, pre-teens, or teens who want to “hang out” or play at the park & the beach is just enough of a walk to burn off those extra vacation calories you’re enjoying! The house had everything we needed and the owner was super helpful! Looking forward to a return visit soon!

Awesome Property and experience!

This property was easy to get to you off the causeway, beautiful location on the canal, and friendly neighbors. We loved our stay, close enough to the beach and right on the canal. It was a perfect combination for our group. I would definitely recommend staying here. It’s clean and very well kept up.

Just what we needed!

We had a blast in this house. We were able to bring our boat which was so much fun being able to walk right out to the dock to get on. The house was setup nice which made for a very relaxing vacation.

Wonderful beach house on canal!

Our family had such a fun time at this beach house! The access to the canal was great for fishing, crabbing, and boating. The house was equipped with everything you needed for the beach and for cooking. We were able to rent a golf cart which made it easier to access the beach. I would definitely recommend this house!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our long weekend in OIB, despite the rainy weather. The location of the house to the beach, shops and activities was very convenient. Having the canal in the backyard was the best part for our teenagers to keep busy. The homeowner was very easy to communicate with from start to finish.

Nice to get away!

Great time with family at our favorite beach. Our family is rather large and we thought this would be a good fit. Wonderful property for 4 adults and the rest children or teens. The sleep size was a little cramped if you have a lot of adults. Great property for 2 families with children or a grandparent. It was very clean and very convenient to everything. Nice stay!

Great house and location

Loved staying at this house in OIB. It's a short walk to the closest beach access point, and we had no problems doing it with our infant and stroller. If you want less of a crowd, it's a less than 5 minute drive to some of the other access points. The house came with a bunch of amenities for the beach. Do keep in mind though that OIB is strict in regards to tents, and that they only allow umbrellas or Shibumis.

Amazing Vacation Rental

We had a large group and the house had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything that we needed for meals. It was a short walk to the beach and everyone also hung out in the canal out back. It was nice to have a calmer place to swim for the younger kids. The neighbors were friendly. The views from the screen room were beautiful. Lastly, our host was amazing. She reached out to us before and after our trip. She sent us community information on what was happening while we were there. They were very gracious. We loved our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Spring break trip

Family trip for Spring Break. Group of 3 teenage boys. We drove 2 vehicles so they could get out and about on their own. They found lots of similar age kids out at the beach and coffee spots. Plenty of parking available at house. The home itself was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Location was wonderful, close to restaurants, water and shopping and friendly neighbors. Quiet and quaint. Lots of extras like beach chairs, bikes, grills all provided and kitchen well stocked. Courtney sent a detailed welcome letter letting me know what appliances were there to help with meal prep. Great vacation spot!

Wonderful property!

This is a wonderful property. Very comfortable and very nice! Everything you need is provided. The owner makes an effort to provide many items you typically take to beach and use at home regularly. If you are a boat owner like me, this place is even more fantastic. The boat dock is incredible with easy access to the ICW. You are a short boat ride to Little River or Holden Beach. Much fun for cruising or fishing. Beds, furniture, bathrooms, porches, and everything else was top notch! Courtney, thank you for the great hospitality.

Perfect Vacation House

The location is great, very close to all activities, shops and the beach. Home was so nicely decorated and was well stocked with all that was needed in the kitchen. We loved sitting on the dock watching the boats. Host was very helpful and answered all our questions promptly. Would love to visit this area in the future. Thank you for a wonderful family vacation!

Lovely House & Host!

This house was by far one of our favorite rentals on OIB! We loved the spacious design, it made the house always a pleasure to come back to, even in the rain. Our favorite part of the house was the screened porch, which was the perfect temperature no matter the time of day. The garage was very helpful to keep the rented golf cart in when it rained, and it was filled with the perfect amount of beach supplies-there were about ten beach chairs, shovels, a wagon and even a floatie for our little one! This was particularly helpful because it saved us space when packing for our trip. The location of the house was perfect for both dining and beach activities, and the neighbors were very nice and quiet. It was a nice location for evening walks too. The amenities were very nice, but make sure to bring your own sheets, towels, and paper products! The dock/canal was outstanding as well, and would no doubt be even more enjoyable if you have a boat. The television was also equipped with several entertainment features, including Netflix and a great sound system. Our only complaint was the smoothie machine being dirty, but that is the fault of the previous renters and not the owner. The host was very quick and very helpful, and one of the main reasons the vacation was so carefree. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend it!!

The property is great and Courtney is a fantastic host! The home is very well stocked (kitchen utensils, toys, bikes, etc.), extremely comfortable and the location is perfect. The entire family loved the stay. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Perfect Beach house

This place was beautifully decorated (looked just like the pictures), was clean and had everything you could need for your beach trip. You can fish or crab right off the dock put back. We brought our kayaks with us which made for a great time on the water. I would suggest renting a golf cart for trips too and from the beach if you have little ones. The walk is not far at all for adults and older kids, however.

Awesome location, house and host!

Our family stayed for a mid week spring break getaway. The house was spacious, well-equipped and very clean. The location was perfect for our family. Our kids fished and swam off the dock and rode bikes to putt putt and the town center park. We will definitely be back!

Great experience

Loved the home and location and the hostess was always thinking of us. We never needed to contact her but she contacted us to make sure everything was good. Communication was excellent. We will consider this home again and would love to work with hostess again.
