ALOHA! This 1st floor, updated unit has a private lanai to enjoy spectacular ocean views, stunning sunrises or perhaps an evening moonrise, if the time is right! This place has it all! The pool is just 20-feet from the lanai, and world-famous Waipouli Beach is only 20-steps away! When we say "oceanside", we mean... OCEANSIDE!! A lot of thought, planning and hard work went into re-painting, re-furnishing and complete updating of the décor in our home-away-from-home!

This fully-furnished unit has a master bedroom with a king-sized bed, as well as a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed! For your convenience, the full-bath has been equipped with new, full-sized clothes washer and dryer! Kaua'i Kailani in Kapa'a is conveniently located... bike paths, hikes & adventures, walking distance to amazing food trucks, restaurants, grocery stores, shopping and dining!

If you are looking for an enjoyable, relaxing place to get away from it all, then the Garden Island of Kaua'i is where you want to be! And, with easy access to both the North and South Shores, Oceanside Retreat at Kapa'a is where you should stay!

Great vacation spot

Spent 4 nights here and loved it! Great location. Central on the island, we love Kapaa. Unit is clean and upgraded. Sunrises each morning were incredible. Beds were comfy. Communication with owner was great. Overall a 5-star experience!

Beach escape

We loved this place! Love staying on the East side of the island so we can travel easily to each side of Kauai. This place is close to shops and restaurants. The condo itself was clean and well equipped with supplies for a great family trip. We watched a sunrise from the beach out front every day and ate breakfast on the lanai. You can tell the owners put a lot of care and thought into this special place!

Winter Get Away

We had an amazing time in Kauai! This property was perfect for our family of 4. Plenty of space, great location on the island if you are planning to see a lot. We visited everything from Hanalei to Waimea Canyon and everything in between. 1st floor location of condo is great. No stairs and straight walk out the lanai to a great sunset. Owner was great with communication. Mahalo

Island paradise 🏝

The property was exactly as described. It was cute, comfortable, clean, close to all amenities and the view is spectacular! Sheila is great and can help with anything you need. The pool was fantastic, cleaned everyday and the grounds are well kept. The beach is a short walk away and you can listen to the ocean from your patio. I was in heaven and will definitely book this property again!

Great location

This property was in a great location in Kapa'a which made reaching the north side and the south side of the island really easy. There was a grocery store right across the street and great shopping up the road in the little town of Kapa'a. There was a snafu with check in but Andi fixed it quickly. Kauai is a wonderful island and this was a great place for the 4 of us to stay while we were there, especially since we had a car and this property had parking.

Great Condo!

This beachy themed condo perfectly met all our needs! It was centrally located onthe island, had everything within walking distance without feeling too busy. So wonderful to hear the waves from the patio, to be just steps away from the pool and a few more steps to the beach. It was well stocked with all the kitchen necessities. It was compact but had enough room for 4 adults. The condo was pleasantly comfortable with the breezy trade winds and fans. We especially loved the ease of coming and going to the pool and beach since this condo is on the first floor.

Wonderful location to see entire island

We booked this condo for the entire week of spring break and it did not disappoint. The owners were so friendly and checked on us during our stay. The location was perfect to drive north to see the rainy side or south to catch a boat to whale watch. We were 5 minutes from a great beach park Lydgate where you could snorkel and see all types of fish. The condo was exactly as the pictures look and it was clean and the beds were comfy. I can not say enough about the entire experience. We want to go back as soon as possible lol!

From Wisconsin to Kauai !

We chose the perfect place. The condo was great, just as pictured. Check is was easy, just walk in ! It felt like our home for the time we were there. The complex felt very safe and others were friendly. Great location for sunrise photos ! We weren't the only one out at that time. Steps from the pool and noticed that was cleaned everyday. Enjoyed the location, groceries in walking distance and restaurants and shopping too. Enjoyed listening to the waves, whenever we were in the condo. Only wished we could have stayed longer. Owner was great too !!

Perfect location!

We loved the location of this property as it allowed us to easily explore the entire island on a day by day basis. Was amazing to have our own parking space! And I was easy to work with and very responsive.

Our stay was amazing!! The condo was very clean and exactly as pictured. I was very impressed with everything, but mostly the view!! I would definitely recommend staying here-you will not be disappointed in the least!!!

Steps from everything

This ground floor unit is strategically located near the pool, ocean, grocery stores, restaurants, and other shopping. The kitchen was very well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed. It is beautifully decorated and didn’t contain a whole bunch of nick backs that I needed to hide away from my kids (which was very much appreciated). The beds were both incredibly comfortable and there were plenty of pillows, towels, and places to store our belongings. Hands down would come back again in a heartbeat.

Great Stay in Kauai

This was a very nice place and was as described in the listing. Great communication with host. Was a bit small for traveling with "friends" (4 adults), but for a "family" of up to 4 would be fine. The location was central to everything we wanted to do on the island.

Beautiful stay

This place is a perfect place to stay with access to the beach, a walk out the backdoor to the pool, and a gorgeous view of the ocean on the patio to enjoy your morning coffee or a meal. It's convenient location in Kapa'a across the street from a grocery store and just down the road from shops and restaurants. The complex is clean and well maintained, the unit has everything you need including a washer and dryer. We would definitely recommend this place and are sad to leave but hope to be back. Thank you for letting us stay in paradise!

Perfect location for a relaxing beach vacation

The apartment is wonderfully located a few steps away from quiet beach in Kapa’a and also has convenient access to the historic downtown, with restaurants and shops, all only a mile away. We can easily drive north towards Hanalei or south towards Poipu or Waimea for half or day trips. We spent most of our time in Kapaa exploring nearby trails such as the the Sleeping Giant mountain and walk/run along the beach trail between Kapaa and Kealia, which spans Waipouli beach, Kealia beach, and Donkey beach. Lydgate park is also a short 2 miles away. Overall, this was the perfect Kauai location! The apartment itself was clean and cozy, and the complex is kept clean everyday by a set of amazing and friendly staff that cleans the pool every morning, cleans the grills every night, watering the plants, etc. The owner was wonderful to communicate when we had questions, and instructions were straightforward. Thank you for a beautiful Kauai experience!

My husband and I fell in love with the "Garden Island" of Kaua'i during our very first visit when we got engaged on Kalalau Beach after completing the grueling, 11-mile long Na Pali Coast Trail! A mere 6-months later, we returned to the east shore of Hanalei Bay to be married in a magical sunset wedding at the St. Regis Resort. One year later, we returned to celebrate our first anniversary with another adventure out to Kalalau Beach and back!

These one-in-a-lifetime experiences sparked a dream of, one day, owning our own small piece of Paradise! We're so excited that dream did come true and now we're delighted to share it with you! We most sincerely hope that you'll enjoy your stay at Oceanside Retreat at Kapa'a!

Oceanside Retreat at Kapa'a in Kaua'i Kailani is located only 7-miles to the north of Lihue International Airport just off Kuhio Highway (SH-56) in Kapa'a. We're only a short 22-mile scenic drive to the North Shore (Princeville & Hanalei) and 19-miles to the South Shore (Poipu, Koloa & Waimea).
