Whether you want to just enjoy a relaxing weekend, go hiking or antiquing, you will be surrounded by the beautiful Georgia and North Carolina Blue Ridge mountains featuring breathtaking views and waterfalls. It is a short drive to Highlands, NC, Tallulah Gorge, Lake Burton, wineries and many other exciting destinations.

The home is beautiful and has absolutely everything you might need. We enjoyed sitting on the porches and in the mornings you could hear the church bells playing. We also really enjoyed riding the golf cart, there’s a beautiful waterfall down near the golf course and we rode the cart there a couple times and we also encountered a couple deer on our rides. We ate at an Italian restaurant, Magliocca’s Ristorante, just down the road from the home and it was delicious. Ohhh….I forgot to mention the massage chair, yes we took advantage of that also!

Beautiful home in a very serene setting. Great for relaxing and unwinding. Loved the welcome basket with snacks. An unexpected and pleasant surprise. Would love to return for a longer stay next time. Hot tub and massage chair were the favorites.

A beautiful home-away-from-home! Very clean! Well equipped! Had everything we needed…and more! We enjoyed the covered deck and hot tub on a rainy day! Beds were very comfortable with luxurious bedding! Big soft bath towels, make-up remover cloths, shower bombs, laundry detergent, beautiful soap and lotion pump bottles, spices, coffee pods…I could go on! We highly recommend staying at Sugarbush Shalet! You won’t be disappointed!

Oh my goodness! I cannot say enough about this beautiful shalet! The ammenties are top notch! It's gorgeous and extremely comfortable! 10 out of 10! We arrived to a lovely welcome basket and we were instantly in love! The hot tub was outstanding! We will definitely be back!

Everything was as expected. The driveway is steep (as described). The golf cart was so nice to have! The only thing that made us a little nervous was the low railing upstairs for the loft. We felt as if we could fall over it very easily.

Very Nice Place

My sister, niece and I take a trip every summer and this house was perfect. We also enjoyed a day in Highlands as well. Loved the very clean and large hot tub. Well appointed kitchen for cooking 2 of our meals.Thank you for sharing.

EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED

My wife and I were beyond blown away by the entire house and the entire neighborhood! The friendliness of Mrs Karen and her husband. Immediately entering the house was calm jazz music and a beautiful electric fire place. We could not recommend this house more!!

Just perfect

Beautiful decorated, clean, every amenity you need and more. The extra touches are everywhere down to the soaps, pillow sprays, sound machine, coffee assortment. The king beds are very comfortable with great linens and blankets. Outside decks and areas are so inviting with hot tub, TV's and seating for relaxing all around this home. We love having access to the golf cart too. The golf course is tops. The local area has lots to offer. We will be back in fall.

This is a fabulous place to stay. The owners have thought of everything you need to have for a perfect quiet relaxing stay. The property is as pictured with all the extras of a 5 star resort. This is one of our favorite stays and will be back in the future.

Best host we've had

We have booked VRBO properties in multiple states and this is hands down the best hosts we have had! This beautiful decorated property has every amenity imaginable, every small appliance and kitchen item you could possibly need, and fully stocked from the bathrooms and kitchen to the outside fireplace and hot tub.
