Welcome to "Fairway Cottage" your home in the mountains located in the City of Sky Valley, Georgia. Sitting on the 6th Fairway of the beautiful Sky Valley Country Club and within walking distance to the community amenities. The "Fairway Cottage" has 2 Guest Bedrooms which have both been freshly painted with new bedding. The Queen Room has deck access as well as a Smart TV. The Guest Bathroom is located in the hall between the Guest Rooms and has been totally remodeled. The Twin Bedroom has Tv that's perfect for playing games. Returning guests will love the new Master Suite! New furniture, rug, paint and Yes a totally new Master Bathroom! Enjoy that big shower and the double vanity and the mirror is amazing! The Great Room, kitchen and dining areas still offer a wonderful place to gather. The fireplace now has gas logs and of course a large Smart Tv. The kitchen appliances are all new as well as new dishes and glassware. The deck area has been freshly painted and a new fire pit has been added where guests can sit and enjoy the beauty of our star packed sky.
Outside the cottage offers covered parking at your front door as well as a NEW EV CHARGER! The Sky Valley Country Club is open to the public for golf offering a Championship course that winds through our beautiful valley in the mountains. The city hosts a fabulous hometown July 4th celebration where you can watch the parade or be in it. Fireworks and other activities make it a special time to be in Sky Valley. Ready to explore you will find restaurants, shops, antiques, zipline, rafting and more whether you go up or down the mountain. The towns of Dillard and Clayton in Georgia are 10-15 minutes down and Scaly and Highlands NC are 10-15 minutes up. Hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, a mountain coaster ,snow tubing, ice skating, and a zipline are many of the other outdoor activities to explore. We are also just 5 minutes from the Vineyard at High Holly, a beautiful wedding venue or a great place for other gatherings as well. So book your getaway and be our guest at the "Fairway Cottage". House was very clean, bedding very comfortable and they enormous deck was fabulous to hang out on together on a beautiful sunny day! David is a very attentive and helpful host!

Delightful Stay

We have been coming to Sky Valley for 31 years and this is one of our favorite places to stay. The newly renovated bathrooms are a huge plus and the outdoor space is delightful. We enjoyed everything about our stay in this cottage and Sky Valley!

What a great property! The home was well appointed mixing original and modern decor. The home has been so well maintained, not an ounce of mustiness. The bathrooms have been recently updated and are just lovely. The beds were very comfortable with such cozy bedding. The home was also very clean which can be tricky when pets are allowed. It also has such wonderful outdoor spaces (although we didn't get to enjoy.. it was freezing during our trip!). We travel a lot and this was definitely an A property.

Scenic and relaxing stay

We enjoyed staying at the nice home in Sky Valley. We loved how there was modern furniture with vintage accents and home decor throughout. The bathrooms were really nicely renovated. It is a quite neighborhood on a very nice gold course. The home was very clean and lovingly cared for. We enjoyed going to Julep Farms, The Highlands, Andy's Trout Farm and Clayton.

"Fairway Cottage" is located in the heart of Sky Valley on the 6th Fairway of The Sky Valley Country Club Golf Course. Beautiful views on a quiet street and within walking distance to course and Health Club facilities. Elevation 3500' Sky Valley is the first stop on the Highlands Plateau. The towns of Clayton & Dillard in Georgia and Highlands, Scaly and Franklin in North Carolina offer adventure in exploring, shopping, eating and more with many seasonal festivals to enjoy.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

"Fairway Cottage" again is directly on the 6th Fairway with beautiful views of golf and mountains. A deck that bids you to stay outside and enjoy life. There's a gas grill for cooking and a gas fire pit for gathering to view the starry sky. We took December and January to remodel the Master Bath and Bedroom area. Guests will love it!
We have also added an EV Charger for those who have an electric car.
