This beautiful property is located on Lake Huron with a 100' sandy beach just 3.5 miles south of Mackinaw City. Over 3000 sq ft with a spectacular great room looking across the straits at Mackinaw Island equipped a 16' Playcraft Shuffleboard table, 8' Olhausen Pool table, air hockey, foosball, and arcade game table! Gas fireplace and a smart tv with fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub on the deck! Barrel Sauna! Enjoy bike riding (6 cruiser bikes included!) on the state maintained bike trail across the street and even take them to the island for free (bike licenses included). Like the water? A tandem kayak/ 2 single kayaks/ 2 paddleboards also included! Enjoy the nights with family and friends around the fire pit (eight camp chairs/ four Adirondack chairs and fire wood included)!

The main house has its own separate entrance from the owner's apartment with covered parking. There is complete privacy between the house and apartment (no view from the owner's apartment into back yard or beach area)

The location is what sets the property apart. Not only is it right on Lake Huron, the Grand Hotel is in perfect view from the front porch, living room and master bedroom.The amenities were excellent and the available gaming was great.We could not get the outdoor sauna to work, but that may have been operator error and I did not reach out for assistance. Another minor drawback was finding the exact driveway to turn into when coming back at night. Even with GPS we missed the correct driveway a couple of times.

Gorgeous property! Had a great time making use of all the games, along with the Hot Tub and Sauna. Everything was very clean, and the furniture/bedding was comfortable. Check in was easy, and the owner was always available to message with questions. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This place was amazing! I can't say enough good things but I will add a few.. the games kept the grandkids laughing, the hot tub was great for grandma after walking the Island all day, grandpa enjoyed the firepit and the view to have many beers and relax, and the 30 somethings enjoyed the sauna, kitchen supplies and the indoor fireplace. We loved the popcorn machine, flowers outside, and THE VIEW!!! We even danced to Elton John from the record player. AMAZing

Great Family Home

Fantastic home. Excellent location with a view of Mackinaw Island. Very clean, well furnished, great deck, lots of toys and great hosts. We spent a week with 6 adults and 3 children and there was plenty of space. We highly recommend this property.

It was a wonderful week and the perfect house. The children and grandchildren really appreciated the kayaks and spent hours on Lake Huron. Other than food the place had everything we could have asked for. Several family members are now addicted to shuffleboard.

Everything was above and beyond our expectations. We travel to a destination yearly with what is now 10 of us and our time on Lake Huron was maybe the best yet because of the property. We did all the touristy stuff: ferried out to Mackinac Island, took the horse drawn wagon ride, walked the streets of Mackinaw City, some went charter fishing, visited friends in Harbor Springs, searched for Petoskey stones, and always had a great place to come "home" to as well. Our host provided bikes, kayaks (the house is located on a shallow area where one can paddle safely for a long way), hot tub, sauna, and even a good corn hole set up. Our daughter's Schnoodle adjusted well. We could go on and on, but will stop there with 10 out of 10 recommendation.

Upside Surprise

My family was delighted at how well this property accomodated 11 of us from all ages. Toys and activities for kids and adults. Spaceous rooms and well equipped kitchen. Plus a killer view of Lake Huron with Mackinac Island in the distance.

Everything we needed

This property is great for a friend or a family trip! We had one day of rainy weather and we had more than enough to do to occupy ourselves. The rooms were great, the hot tub was wonderful. Every last detail was thought of. I would highly recommend staying here!

A Wonderful VRBO near Mackinac Island

We arrived to a lovely home full of necessities and adventure. If you like being active if games,this is the VRBO for you. We absolutely loved the lake Huron view. We could see the island! We enjoyed all the kitchen supplies plus with beds. Note some rooms have futons assuming for two. Our visit was fun visiting many things, shopping and even seeing the Library. Thanks captain. We would love to know it's history. Why the Harry Potter room?

Wonderful Stay

House was even more wonderful than promised. Owners were very communicative but also allowed our party complete privacy. My sister in law happened to see one of the owners by chance and she was lovely. There is so much on the property that kept the teens and adults in our group busy the entire time. Would love to rent the property again in the future. Beyond pleased with our stay.

As advertised!

The house was perfect for my wife and I, our son and daughter-in-law, 3 grandkids (ages 20 mo - 6 years) and their dog. The location is easy to access and close enough to town for a quick drive or an easy bike ride. Plenty to do rain or shine. Tom was incredibly accommodating. We wanted for nothing… bikes, kayaks, fire pit, sauna, hot tub, yard/indoor games… and frosted mugs! But there was nothing like the view from the recliner in the morning! We would rent again without hesitation

Fantastic House and View!

This is one of the best places we have ever rented! The house is wonderful both inside and out. The inside is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We wanted for nothing. The view of the lake is stunning. And those sunrises - WOW! We were fortunate to have perfect weather so we spent much time enjoying the deck and chairs by the lake. The location is fantastic - so close to all the area’s attractions. This house has so many amenities far too numerous to list here. Just look at the pictures! We were so happy to have stayed at this rental. Tom and Linda are very gracious hosts. Tom answered all my questions with lightning fast speed! Thank you Tom and Linda, we had a wonderful vacation. Don’t hesitate to book!

Perfection!

This property had it all! My friends, family and I stayed a week and could have stayed longer. The home was spacious and fully stocked. There are plenty of towels, linens, aero beds, games, kitchen conveniences, beach towels, pet necessities, etc. The game room entertained all ages for hours on end and helped bring everyone together. I was concerned that the lake would be too cold or rocky. It was not. Although I strongly recommend water shoes for the rocks, the lake was wonderful. It was clear and not too cold. It is shallow quite far out which helped the smaller kids. The hosts were attentive if we needed them but we never did. The shed is packed with yard games, water activities and bikes which we used several days. There is access to a bike trail directly across the street that takes you right into town. I would absolutely stay here again! ped

Phenomenal Home!

Our all-adult family enjoyed the incredible amenities this home offered from the hot tub and sauna to the pool table, croquet set, fire pit, and popcorn machine. Everything was pristine inside and out and the lake water was so crystal clear and shallow for swimming. The bikes were a bonus for traveling to the ferry and riding around Mackinac Island. We’ve rented so many homes and this one was the absolute best!!

We have been VRBO'ing for years and this is by far the best place we have ever stayed. The amenities are amazing. Very clean. Plenty of firewood and loads of towels. Kitchen wants for nothing. Stop looking and book this place!

Mackinaw Getaway

Took the family to Mackinaw for a week of vacation. There were 6 adults plus two children aged 6 & 2. The house was perfect...in a GREAT location, clean, quiet and very well appointed. It was a perfect home base for our Island, UP and local adventures. Tom was very easy to communicate with as well. We would most definitely stay there again.

Incredible property, beautiful views, peaceful, private and tons of things to do.

We had the best time as a family at this beautiful property! There is so much to do! We loved the amazing views and fires on the beach at night. The kids played all the indoor games and loved it! My 13 year old nephew is a pool shark now. We also enjoyed having access to the paddle boards, kayaks, and outdoor games. The location was awesome too being so close to all the things to do in town and the ferry while also having total privacy at home. I can't say enough good things about this property. It is perfect for a small family vacation! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home and all it has to offer.

Family travels

We travel and rent VRBO's all over - this is by far one of the more exceptional places we've ever stayed. Wanted for nothing! Impeccably clean, close to attractions. Wish i could rate it above a 5 star...highly recommended!
