Grace Cottage is the perfect family vacation home for memorable stays in Kingsland! This adorable cottage comes equipped with all the amenities you may need for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway.

Relax on the spacious, screened-in porch while enjoying your morning coffee, and make use of the gas grill and the picnic table during warm-weather cookouts. The backyard, filled with live oaks, is quite large and slopes gently down to the water's edge. Children will love feeding the ducks and wading in the shallow area next to the boat launch (the cove's public access boat launch is conveniently located right next to Grace Cottage). Granite obstacles are clearly marked and the property includes a convenient bulkhead with cleats to moor your boat and a double jet ski ramp.

Once you visit Grace Cottage, you'll want to return again and again!

Full kitchen
Paddle Boat and/or Water Toys are not offered at this home.
Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis, BUT this does not guarantee pests/bugs/critters will not be visible.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

A nice get away

This was a nice get away for my husband and I. The house was clean. Beds were comfortable. House stayed cool. Water view and sitting area was giving the vibes we were looking for. We fished some at the house but it was shallow. We actually went 5 min down the road and found great fishing at the near by park. I definitely need this screen in porch at my house. I loved it. Definitely would stay here again and referrer others.

Eclipse in Kingsland

The property and the area were beautiful. It was quite. The beds were comfortable and we had most everything we needed. The price was high but I understand that was because of the eclipse. It would be a nice place to stay for a week at a lesser cost. Thank you.

Weekend Stay

We arrived late on Friday evening and were greeted by this adorable home. It was cutely decorated with a nice layout. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the screened back porch listening to the night sounds. This home is in a quiet area. The view down by the water was also peaceful and my husband enjoyed the fishing.

Everything was good. The only “negative” is the cooking utensils good be increased (more options to use) and the cookware options need to be something more than two sauce pans when a pot is needed.

AC Magic

We pulled in and we were concerned with our boat being in a slip and not docked. After realizing we were a good way from the crazy 4th if July river we were at ease, zero "yes" zero waves were this slip is located. Getting to the river takes a little work but worth it. After a long hard HOT day on the water this house is great to sit back and relax in. We look for locations to relax in after boating and a day on the river not for a house to spend the entire day in and this location was great. 100+ temp outside made the cool house a escape from the heat. Cooked in the kitchen every morning and evening and enjoyed the screened in back porch while waking up with coffee. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Wonderful getaway

The property management was amazing! Best communication I have ever had when staying in a rental property! The home was very clean and well stocked. Loved being able to fish in the evenings. Cozy little home with an awesome screened in porch. The porch was a great place to end the day with a glass of wine, and begin it with the morning coffee. Overall, 2 thumbs up.

Great Lake House

First of all the house was very clean and neat. This is very important to my Wife. Everything we needed was available and easy to find (plenty of towels). There was even an extra propane tank for the grill which we didn't need but nice to have there. Screened in porch was used every day and night relaxing and watching wildlife. The additional patio at the boat house was great for us that stay up late. Its far enough from the main house as not to disturb the ones sleeping. Also great for late night fishing. The previous reviews had me worried about the included boat ramp and boat lift. After we got there and launched the boat which we had no problems, ( I launched my 21 ft boat). It was a little tight but was so worth the convenience of having the boat readily available, and not having to load and unload daily allowed us more time to enjoy our stay. Also there is a map in the house and at the boat house warning of the hazards in the water on the way out to the lake so just pay attention. Not like you haven't been warned. All in all a great place to stay we will be going back soon.

Relaxing Retreat

We loved our stay at this property. It was very clean, which was very important to us, especially with our one remaining unvaccinated (youngest) kiddo. It was also as-described re: the layout and the screened in back patio was much larger than expected. Like many other reviewers, this was our favorite part of the house! It was great to hang out in, to have our morning coffee in, to read in, etc. It was quite a relaxing retreat overall and it helped us to recharge and rejuvenate!! Our only disappointment was at the water's edge. There was quite a bit of scum / algae on the surface of the water, which we heard was the same for all of the coves because of the recent storms. We heard this from our boat rental places, Splash Boat Rentals and Wave Chasers, which we contacted in order to piece together some boating time out on the lake once we saw the water at the cottage was not very inviting to enter from the shore. Just be aware of that when you book any of these canal / cove properties. As we did, you may end up spending hundreds of extra $$ per day to get some swimming time in the water. If this is your plan all along, then great...be sure to book boats in advance of your trip because we had trouble finding all-day rentals when calling last-minute on a Thursday. Saturday was completely booked, so there were no boats available, but we were able to piece together a Thursday afternoon pontoon, Friday all-day (two boats from two places), and Sunday all-day ski boat. I hope this helps with your planning! Overall, a great place that I would visit again!

So cute and comfy, wonderful location

We love this sweet cottage! Perfect size for a family of 4, equipped with everything needed for a long weekend away; cooking at home, watching movies, and paddle boating on this calm little part of the lake. The screened in back porch did not disappoint, and I slept great each night. Close to caverns, beautiful hikes, and the water. Just what we needed. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was very clean. The beds were ok, but there was only 1 queen bed, the other was a double., listing said 2 queens. Also, the listing states waterfront, but it doesn't say the water is a small channel only wide enough for a small boat or 2 jet skis to pass through. There were houses across from the cottage, so there was no view. We made it work but probably won't stay again.

Great experience!!

We loved this place! Took a couple of friends and rented for a few days. Was right off the water so kayak fishing was ideal! Caught several bass and saw many more. Lots of great areas to fish from and you didn’t have to worry about many boats. The house is very cute and comfy!

This sweet cottage was great for our two-night stay. Beds were comfy, linens ample, porch was the perfect place to relax. Do be aware that neither bedroom has adjoining bath; both bathrooms are across the house. This wasn’t a big deal since our stay was short. We enjoyed it! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
