Relaxing and Inviting home in gated community


The community charges a security/registration fee upon arrival to the renter. The fee will be $116.28 plus $8.72 in tax. This fee is not included in your reservation. Also, there are fees for more than one car or trailer storage. The overflow parking is a first come , first served basis.

These fees are not included in the price of the home. This 2 bedroom, one bath is located in Venture Out on Cudjoe Key, FL. Featuring 35 feet of dock space on a clean canal. 23 miles outside of Key West!. Venture Out is a gated community that features a community pool, hot tub, tennis courts, basketball court, boat ramp and much more. This unit has been recently updated with paint, decor and much more. There is a dishwasher, grill, TV and free wifi. The unit includes a 2 person Kayak and Paddle board at no extra charge. Holiday and seasonal rates may differ. Please contact me for rates. Lot 439.

Property is a little older but is well maintained. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice and very clean. We have stayed at VO many times and would choose this property again. We did have a small issue with the AC while we were there but management was extremely responsive and had maintenance there quickly to fix the issue, they also made some very nice concessions for us in the time it took for the issue to be fixed. Management was polite, understanding, quick to respond to questions, and provided a great experience. I would give this property a 10/10, a very pleasant experience!

Great Place in the Lower Keys

Great house on a canal in Venture Out on Cudjoe Key. Convenient to our work location on Summerland Key and everything else in the lower Keys. Highly Recommend

Wonderful Place to stay with family visiting the lower Keys!

Very clean and nicely decorated vacation rental, right on one of the canals. The kitchen had everything we needed + more. The beds were very comfortable. The outdoor area is furnished with plenty of chairs, a table, and umbrella, a nice grill, etc, making it a very relaxing and inviting place to eat, just relax and read a book or watch the pelicans fly by. The washer and dryer worked really well and it was also nice to have a dishwasher. We loved the nearby (20 minutes drive) Bahia Honda State Park and that it only took us 30 minutes to Key West. Blue Hole is a must visit as well. Lot’s of good food options nearby, too. We weren’t able to explore the condominium area this time, but would love to do so next time (play tennis, kayak or paddle board, swimming pool, ..). There was so much more to do that we didn’t get to. Definitely hope to be back and do more. Would recommend this property to anyone looking to visit and explore the lower keys! Hope to be back soon!

Somewhat disappointing

This is the second time staying in the Venture Out Community. Everyone is nice and respectful and the people that work the guard shack are always helpful with any questions. The home that we stayed in this trip lacked much to be desired. I knew that it was a smaller home, which was fine since it was just me and my husband. But, I was shocked at how small. The bathroom, which only has a shower, was barely big enough to turn around in. There were no hand towels or wash cloth's provided, the hand soap was less than half full and only one roll of toilet paper for 7 days stay. The front door opens into one of the bedrooms, which leaves little privacy and you can hardly walk around the bed in the other bedroom. There is a lot of dust build up on the walls and door facings and there were dirty footprints on the walls. The kitchen did have everything you would need to cook; but no cleaning supplies or hand soap were provided. Not even a full roll of paper towels. The washing machine made a terrible noise during the spin cycle and literally shook the whole house. The a/c could not keep up with the heat and it would be almost 80 degrees in the house by 4:00 every afternoon. We had several issues with the hot water, which the owner was quick to respond and walk us through how to remedy the situation.

It was a family vacation with our daughter, we were able to take our JetSki and bring it right up behind this place made it so nice. Everything about our trip was fantastic thank you for an amazing stay. We are definitely looking to book again as soon as we can. :-)

House was perfect for what we needed. Boat slip had plenty of space, house was spacious inside with a nice deck out back. Would recommend and would stay there again!

Amazing Time!!

We have been coming to the Keys for 6 years now and this is the 2nd year in a row we have stayed in Venture Out and in this house. We look forward to it every year now. The owner responds back quickly to any questions you may have and the place is always clean. This year the microwave went out one morning and I notified the owner. Before lunch time they had already came to replace with a new one. Very nice people and tucked into a very nice canal.

Perfect location

Close to Key West but far enough to be away from the chaos. This is our 2nd year staying at this property and it is nicely organized and very clean. Would love to see an outdoor bait/ice freezer added out back. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing!

We stayed for almost a week and it was exactly what we wanted and more. The property was clean and had lots of extras. Everything was perfect. (my favorite part was watching all the fish right outside the back door)

Nice quiet stay with water access

Perfect for a small family getaway. Quiet place in beautiful location. Close to key west but also close to upper keys too. Property was clean and was just what we needed as a family of four. Would stay here again

Great Stay with Nice Amenities

I have stayed at Venture Out many times in different homes and really enjoyed this home. Very clean, comfortable home with nice beds, open floorplan, good wifi, central air conditioning not window units (nice plus) and very good kitchen. Great stay

Spring break

This was a last minute booking for me and I lucked out to find this spot. Great location, the back deck is shaded in the morning and a great spot to watch the sunset. One of the best restaurants in the Keys, the Square grouper, is only a few minutes away. Nice launching off point to explore the lower keys and easy drive to key west.

Christmas getaway

1st time visiting the keys, had no idea where we should stay. We hit the jackpot on this relaxing gem! We walked in and the place smelled great, very clean, and my 14 yr old twins stated “cozy and spacious” everything you need! We would wake up early and watch the fish swim up to the dockside. We took a day to just relax at the resort, pool is large, we launched our paddle boards at the boat launch and explored the waters around the resort. At night I was able to relax in the hot tub and meet the locals and hear stories of key west and the changes and the events happening that you might not hear about. Communication with the owners easy peezy, the response time super fast, and they seem very friendly! My family will be back! Corrie Orange Beach, Al
