A cozy 2 bdr Cottage with kitchen full bath. Comfortable beds. Perched right on the bay of Alton. Enclosed porch facing the bay. Walking distance to all dinning areas , ice cream , public beach and boat launch. Live music on the gazebo, fire works, ice landing strip, Enjoy the lovely lake where you can have fun, fish & relax. Dock may be available with additional charge as well.

This place was just as described and just what our little group was looking for. It was clean and convenient to all the main attractions of Lake Winnepesaki.

We had a great stay!

The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed drinking our coffee and watching the boats pass by. The location is great and walking distance to restaurants was a plus!

The Cozy Cottage was exactly as shown and described online. Great location, close to everything you might want to see or do. The beds are super comfortable as well! I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely, clean and right on the water!

The Cozy Cabin is clean as can be, with well appointed furniture and decor, and is right on Alton Bay. Owner is very helpful and responsive and the cabin has everything a small family needs.

Cozy Cottage Was Comfortable and Convenient

My wife and I had a great week at the Cozy Cottage. Loved the location. Although it is described as cozy, it was plenty spacious for the two of us and our Corgi.

Great property with wonderful view. Owner is very quick with responses and if we needed something was in it right away. Will definitely recommend and would stay again if get the great opportunity to come back up this way!

Perfect lil’ Spot

The Cozy Cottage nestled in the heart of Alton Bay, NH was just what my family of four needed for an extended holiday weekend getaway. My favorite keepsake from staying at Rich’s Cozy Cottage was most definitely the spectacular view and the live music heard from across the Bay while I relaxed on the comfy blue chairs in the large breezeway! We even brought our pugs and our 22 ft boat. Next time I hope to be able to reserve a dock, but the ramp is literally a five minute walk away.

Girls Getaway Weekend

We absolutely loved "our cozy cottage"! The enclosed porch was our favorite, resting after a busy day in the comfy oversized chairs, watching the boats, listening to the concerts across the bay, the beautiful breeze through the windows were just a few pluses of the porch. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all you needed....except your food lol....cottage was nicely decorated. Conveniently located with in walking distance of small beach, restaurants, and ice cream! Richard was very friendly and communication with him was great. Would definitely recommend.

Ultimate Lake Vacation Spot!

If I could give this VRBO 12 stars out of 10, I would! Every aspect of staying at this listing was PERFECT! The host (Richard) was accommodating and responsive with the (many) questions my wife had before and during our stay! Richard was incredibly thoughtful and took the time to ensure my family had the best vacation ever! The property was clean and well maintained and every aspect of the guest's comfort has been accounted for! The house itself is absolutely stunning and the property is in the perfect location for a family looking to get away! I know I will absolutely be booking this location again next Summer!

Shortened stay due to family emergency

Very nice and clean property. The only concern I would have is how fast cars went down the 25 mph road that has a very narrow space to walk on. Many cars were not going 25.

Great stay at a great location on

We enjoyed our time here. Richard was a great host and the property was clean and nicely updated. One thing to note...the house is across the street from the water and the road is pretty busy. The parking space is pretty tight for our full size truck, so a bit challenging backing out, but we enjoyed our time and would definitely return and recommend to others.

Great view

The location of the property was great, right across the street from the lake and walking distance to several places to eat. We were lucky to be there when the town fireworks were happening on the lake right in front of the cottage (although our dog did not share our enthusiasm). Rich was a great host. Be aware that no toiletries are provided so bring your own soap.

Cozy Cottage by the lake

As advertised and a great location, walking distance to restaurants and boat launch. We chose to also use Rich's dock to dock our boat for a small fee which is just inside the no-wake zone of Alton so your boat will not be rocked by passing boat wakes. Also downwind docking keeps the boat off the dock during high wind days. The house was clean and comfy. Unfortunately we did not have the best weather 2 of the 3 days we were there but it actually worked out in our favor since we found Winnipesaukee was better for city hopping than water sports. We would definitely stay here again and Rich is an excellent host who communicates quickly and effectively. Thank you for the great stay!

Excellent rental on Lake Winnipesaukee

At the last minute we decided to cancel our trip to Lake Tahoe due to the wildfires and we’re thrilled to have found this gem on Lake Winnipesaukee. Ideal location, great accommodations with spectacular views. Perfect!
