The Rockhouse Cabin sits nestled among majestic views of the surrounding rock formations and wilderness of beautiful Hocking Hills. The cottage and encompassing beauty offers peace and quiet for a perfect getaway.
This 4-bedroom cottage comfortably sleeps 10 guests and sits on an acre of land just minutes from Lake Logan and Hocking Hills State Park. The house is bordered by natural rock formations just like you would see at Old Man’s Cave.
Three bedrooms feature a single queen-sized bed, while the fourth and largest bedroom contains two queen-sized beds. Guests will enjoy two full bathrooms with included towels. (Please bring your own toiletries.) One bathroom contains an oversized shower and the other boasts a shower/tub combo with decorative porcelain tile and travertine surround.
The common spaces are tastefully decorated and furnished with large leather furniture and a dining table for 6. Cook up gourmet meals in the full kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher), pots and pans, utensils, and dishes. Get your morning started with the traditional coffee maker or bring pods for the Keurig mini.
Cozy up to the electric fireplace in winter or relax in the air conditioning while surfing the web with the whole house WiFi. Enjoy morning coffee on the sunny, spacious deck, relax in the 6-person hot tub, prepare a delicious meal on the grill, and sit by a cozy wood fire in the evening with a sky full of stars at night. House was very nice and clean. Great space and love the new log siding. Could use some mirrors particularly a full length mirror would be great. We weren't there much bc we were hosting a wedding but it was cozy when we were there. There were plenty of bath towels and also towels for the hot tub. My husband used the hot tub and it felt great! We didn't get a check out list so I wasn't sure we did everything we were supposed to but we did the usual stuff. Fireplace didn't work but that's an easy fix (it blew cold air). Overall, nice place and I'd stay again.

The cottage is a wonderful place to stay when in Hocking Hills area. We completed our 2nd annual sisters’ weekend at this location and were not disappointed! The kitchen is well equipped. We had plenty of space to spread out and relax. We used the living room area, dining room, patio and hot tub to spend time together. The cottage is very clean. Keri was quick to respond to any questions. We have already booked the cottage for our 3rd annual sisters’ weekend!

The property hadn't beed throughly cleaned by the time we arrived and had a heavy musty smell the whole time we were there when i spoke to the host her and her husband did come out personally and explained that the musty smell was from all the rain and they were not happy with theyre cleaning service they took some pictures along with us and started to do some cleaning themselves to rectify the situation which i did appreciate also they need to adjust the flood light sensor to pick up when people are at theyre car not just when they pull in the driveway

Great canin

We did a Girlfriend trip and there was 10 of us. There was plenty of room for all of us. The cabin was very clean. Two full bathrooms were plenty for 10 women. No problems at all. Highly recommend

Weekend away

Property had a great location, was clean on arrival. Hot tub was really nice on the cool spring evenings. With beds for up to 10, my only complaints are that there was not enough seating in the kitchen (only 6 chairs) for us to eat together as a family. Also only seating for 5 in the living room. Even with that, it was a great weekend. Thanks for hosting.

Weekend Getaway

Spent quality time with grown children. Great location. Enjoyed hiking at Rock House, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, and Conkle’s Hollow.

Doable for a first

Doable for a first, not likely to stay again, as the sensor light doesn't come on as you step down the 2 black steps in pitch darkness until after you reach the driveway. It states tv with wifi, however our Amazon and Netflix accounts couldnt log on. Not ideal!! Also there's a washer and dryer that we would have paid extra to have access, been very handy. The place itself is nice and cozy in general. Bring your Firestick or Ruco is my suggestion.

Girls' Trip

Everything was wonderful! The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub! The kitchen had everything needed to fix meals. Large refrigerator/freezer. The beds were comfy! Bathrooms were clean and showers were great! We did not use the fire pit due to the burn ban. We also did not use the TV. We visited instead. We had a perfect weekend!

Hocking hills cabin

Great overall location. Kitchen had everything we needed except storage containers. Hot tub was great especially after the hiking we did. There was a damp musty smell throughout the house(thought it would be more of a clean/fresh smell since no pets or smoking allowed, but it is a wooded area) The bathroom sinks didn't seem to have hot water, Overall enjoyed the visit

Enjoyed our visit with family at this place!

Clean, great deck, kitchen had great cooking equipment--sharp knives and new pots and pans. Close to Hocking Hills State Park and Hiking trails. We enjoyed our hike at Conkles Hollow- our 3 year old grandson loved it! Also, checked out the Hocking Hills Winery- good selection.

Bachelorette Weekend

We stayed at the cottage from Friday night to Sunday morning. There were a few hiccups with scheduling which led to some issues at check-in, but the host was not at fault and was very helpful and prompt in getting them resolved. The property was very nice and we had a great time overall! With a stocked, full kitchen, and enough bedrooms/bathrooms for all, this rental is perfect for larger groups. Local to Logan for shopping, restaurants, and hiking. Its a great option for a stay in Hocking Hills!
