Welcome to The Cottage on Peckham!! Just finished and ready for your summer getaway! Major renovation, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with open floor plan and spacious outdoor space located near the islands best beaches. 2 story living area with large sliders to a sunny deck. Beautiful white bright kitchen with a large gathering island. An outdoor shower will greet you when you return from the beach and the private backyard with a chiminea makes for a nice afternoon retreat. Mature trees surround the property for maximum privacy. All this and close to the islands best beaches, farm stands and all that Newport has to offer.

Great stay! Couldn’t be more happier with the location and cleanliness of the house!

We came on a girls trip for a long weekend and really enjoyed our stay! The house was super clean yet had a cozy feel that made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend!

Weekend with the girls

We really enjoyed the space! Very cute and cozy inside, the deck is great for lounging! We appreciated all the amenities and extra supplies the owner left for us like toothbrushes shampoo conditioner etc. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and the location was wonderful; close to Newport winery, beach and downtown Newport. Would definitely recommend this place!

Perfect spot for our group!

We were in Newport for a wedding. This house was the perfect place for our group of 3 couples. The house is clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Family Getaway

This family (including pet) friendly rental home is a rare find. The house has been extensively and thoughtfully renovated. Clean and high quality, everything about the home has guest comfort and ease in mind. The yard is spacious and the large deck is a great place to relax. Location is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, yet close to Newport, beaches, stores, and restaurants. The area is also good for biking. Check in / check out was a breeze. Bonnie was an awesome host, very responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit the area.

Adorable, Clean, Family-Friendly Property

Our stay here was wonderful! The kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed spending time on the deck and out in the yard. The beds were comfortable and clean. The location was perfect - downtown Newport was easily accessible, yet the quiet and quaint location of the home allowed for a very peaceful stay. Overall, this house was absolutely meticulous - we would happily stay here again!

Cozy House on Quiet Street

House was cozy, clean and updated and made for a great stay in Middletown. The master bedroom is the only room upstairs, is very spacious and felt like a sanctuary. The deck in the backyard is comfortable and a great place to hang out. House is exactly as described and we will stay again when we return.

Perfect Getaway

The property is awesome. The house is renovated with everything you could need. I slept better here than at home! The neighborhood is very quiet, neighbors are super nice, beaches are super close and Newport is a very short drive away. If you are looking for rest and relaxation in a fine home with nature surrounding you, this is your place! Bonnie is also super responsive. Exactly what I needed to get away!

Fantastic home for Newport and Jamestown adventures

Clean, bright, spacious home with mostly everything a family needs for a summer vacation. Very well located in quiet (excluding the usual suburban lawn mowing) neighborhood. Excellent communication with the host, who was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Cute house in Middletown that was perfect for me and my friends! The interior was beautiful and the light, airy beachy vibes were great. Bonnie was super responsive when we blew a fuse and would recommend her and her property again!

Pleasant Stay

Bonnie is very responsive host who made us feel at home from booking to check out. The property was recently renovated, so it was clean and had everything needed for an extended holiday trip. The neighborhood was also quiet and easily accessible. Overall, a pleasant and wonderful stay!

We 100% enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully furnished and fully stocked. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean, kitchen was modern. We felt as comfortable as we were in our own home. Highly recommended.

Turkey Surprise

Thanksgiving morning, I leashed Carson and stepped out the front door. Immediately I heard some animal noises! I put the dog into the house quickly. I carefully came back outside. 7 !!! 15+ lb turkeys ( much bigger than our 15 LB butterball) They came down at sunrise, did quite the Turkey Trot! They return at sunset, and sleep in the tree next to the house!

Nice updated property in quiet neighborhood

House is as advertised, comfortable layout, everything labeled for easy use. Deck is fantastic, neighborhood is quiet with nice neighbors. A family of turkeys were frequenting the area during our stay, even sleeping in the trees in the front yard at night! Great stay.

We were lucky enough to find this home at the last minute and it was terrific. The interior was bright and refreshing- had absolutely everything you could need. We always seem to rent homes with awful pillows, but this home had the absolute best. Great location, peaceful backyard, and a delicious farm/market right down the street! Newly Renovated Awesome Experience

The house was newly renovated, had a great spacious layout and plenty of room for 6 people (we had 3). Owner was great to work with throughout process. Everything you see on the website is exactly what it looks like. Great yard for outdoor games and quiet neighborhood. Enjoying the deck was the best! Master bedroom is huge and both bathrooms are very nice. 2 things to be aware of: access to master bedroom is via a architecturally attractive spiral staircase. It can be a little tricky to climb at first but you get used to it. To access Newport, we had to drive. All-in-all, it was a first class experience and we really enjoyed it. Thank you Bonnie!!!
