SALTWATER is just a short walk to the BEACH and centrally located! Best Location! New patio! This darling, sparkling 2 bedroom cottage is sure to delight! Highly rated prior to reno, it has only gotten nicer! One level, new hardwoods, laundry, paint and furniture has brought out the shine and sparkle! Perfect for a family vacation! SALTWATER is ADORABLE!! Short walk to both 1st and 2nd beach, but still so close to Newport! Parking, new patio with gas grill and outdoor furniture. Pets OK!! This adorable one level cottage has just been renovated! New furnishings and very comfy mattresses, refinished hardwood floors and brand new laundry area added! Fully stocked kitchen and open dining/ living room area with lovely furniture! ( seating for 4 people) Very bright and Sunny. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed with dresser and 2 night stands. Bedroom number 2 also has a queen sized bed with a dresser. New mattresses are very comfortable. Cute bathroom with tub/shower combo, small but cute! Parking for 2 cars, beach chairs, beach towels, and gas grill! Lovely, quiet neighborhood close to the beach and all Newport has to offer!! Very safe for kids to ride bikes or to go for morning walks to the Cilff Walk! Please note we have also just installed a patio to the left of the cottage with outdoor seating and gas grill. It is lovely! Well behaved pets welcome with fee! Very close to downtown Newport This is a one level, stand alone cottage that is oh so close to Easton's Beach and the Cliff Walk! It is all yours! Very safe area for kids to ride bikes or pets to be walked! Laundry room is brand new. Two bedrooms Each with queen sized beds, plus an open living room/ dining area are all on one level. Kitchen has all you could need to prepare meals! Newly furnished with new comfy mattresses and fun colorful furniture. Wonderful place and fantastic location!! SALVE GRAD OPEN! Best location being so close to beach and downtown Newport! We have a local property manger that can help with any issue or concerns Highly rated before the renovation, this has only gotten better! Sunny and bright! One level with 2 bedrooms! AC units in the windows and new laundry area just added! The renovation included painting, interior and exterior, redoing hardwood floors, installing a laundry area, and installing a new outdoor patio on the left side of the house, w/ outdoor furnishings and a grill. The side patio is only for use of this cottage! Beach chairs and beach towels. PETS WELCOME!

Wonderful little house

This is a wonderful small house in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to Easton Beach or a short drive to 2nd beach (where parking is $25/weekdays & $35/weekends!). You really can walk to the cluster of restaurants/stores just a couple of blocks away). The owner has done a lot of work recently to upgrade the exterior and the outdoor patio is charming! I would definitely rent here again. Hopefully next summer there will be stronger AC units.

Painting pealing on exterior Broken Umbrella and rusted chairs No TV service until the end of stay no signal when we arrived no closest doors on either bedroom closets cause the rooms were to small towels were paper thin,blanets not washed Door handles kept falling off the from and back door old kitchen with no dishwasher and unsightly wires with no covers in the kitchen. torn and dirty tin foil on the electric burner frames (who does that) Dirt in the pot drawer in over Bathroom so small you have to close the door to actually fit on the toilet, tiny sink and the tub didn't have a stopper. Trailer park up at the corner so the neighborhood is not all that great but close to everything . I am a designer/project manager and my husband and I owned a reputable commercial construction business. This house has a punch list that needs to be addressed. I would go to a nice hotel.

Convenient and comfortable stay

We recently stayed at this property for a few days, and overall, our experience was pleasant. The location is quite convenient, providing easy access to the beach, local attractions, and amenities. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, which added to our comfort during the stay. Everything was clean and functional, and we had all the essentials we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and helpful, addressing any questions we had promptly. The cottage met our needs for the trip.

Holiday Stay

This property was perfectly located for our holiday weekend stay. There was plenty of room to be comfortable and have good access in the kitchen to do some cooking. It was in close proximity to other family who we could meet up with, and close to the shops, restaurants, and beach.

Great cottage and location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was convenient to everything from the beaches to downtown Newport. The home was well-equipped, down to a first aid kit and beach towels. The beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were available. The home was clean and everything worked well.

A lot to offer - but didn’t end up staying

This property would have been perfect, but we were traveling with an infant and there was a strong paint smell when we arrived so we had to leave and find an alternative place to stay. Lisa was very responsive and though she noted the place had not been repainted for months there was a fresh paint can in the back room. I think perhaps her maintenance staff did a touch up somewhere. Lisa granted me a partial refund.

Absolutely Perfect

We have stayed in quite a few vacation rentals. This one is at the top of the list. Lisa's place is in the perfect spot, a perfect size, and a perfect setup insode the house for your Aquidneck Island getaway. The beach is right there, neighborhood is fantastic and low key... We loved our stay and will be back. Communication with the host was seamless, and we have yet to have a better VRBO experience than here. Thank you Lisa!

Great small house in excellent location

We were there to race sailboats in Newport. This location was perfect, being close to the venue but not costing an arm and a leg. After a slight snafu with clean towels the manager sent the housekeeper over immediately with clean towels. Quick response was much appreciated.

Quaint and Quiet

This cottage was perfect! It was a short walk to Easton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk, the neighborhood was quiet (with beautiful gardens in most yards) and the house was clean and had all the necessities. It was perfect!

Cute place

Place is very cute. Great location, close to bars and restaurants. You can definitely walk to one beach but if you were bringing beach chairs, kids, etc it is a bit of a stretch. Walking to Second beach wouldn't be really safe (and that is the best beach around) - the walk is along a busy street with a pretty steep hill. Lisa answered all of my texts promptly and got right on the small issues we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

Our family of four had an excellent stay here (so did our dog). The property is within walking distance of First Beach and the restaurants in the vicinity.
