Lake Ontario Beach House Getaway-House #2

Welcome to Littlefield Lake House! This is one of two houses on the same property (the bigger of the houses and closer to the road) with direct private beach access to beautiful Lake Ontario. The sandy beach is perfect for lounging, building sand castles, and sunset strolls. This house can be rented on its' own or in conjunction with the other house (see other listings on my profile).

Nightly rates are increased for less than one week bookings and vary, please message for details on pricing. We offer discounted rates for bookings greater than 1.5 weeks.

This house has 2 kitchens (one on the main floor, one in the basement), 3 bathrooms, 5 bedrooms, and a large open kitchen-living room-dining room area.

Desk space is present in the master bedroom of the main floor and the master bedroom in the basement for those who work remotely.

This house has its' own deck and grill. Please note that there is a propane tank available, but the levels are not monitored or refilled. If the tank runs out you may exchange it at a local store.

There are 2 smart TVs in the common areas, each 55”. Additional smart TV's located in select bedrooms: one 32" in bedroom of third floor, one 40" smart TV in master bedroom of main floor and one 40" smart TV in master bedroom of basement.

A Pack n’ Play (collapsible crib) is located in the master bedroom of the main floor should you need it.

2 ocean kayaks with lifejackets are at the property for use as well as flotation devices. Fire pit area also located on the property. Private sandy beach access.

The water is treated and safe to drink, however, we also have a 5-gallon water dispenser in the kitchen if you prefer purified water and want to bring your own 5-gallon water jug. We do not provide the 5-gallon water jugs, but we do provide the dispenser.

Please take time to review the House Rules upon booking. This property belongs to an HOA and we will not be able to rent the property unless the rules are abided by ALL guests. The house rules are also posted at the property and available in the Welcome binder.

Nice stay

Didn’t get to use the kayaks or enjoy the beach much but a nice stay for our needs - we had several family members staying with us and enjoyed the ping pong and ample beds.

Beach house getaway

This house was well furnished and had everything we needed. We had three generations of family who all enjoyed our stay. The sandy beach is fantastic and provided many hours of swimming and relaxation. Great beach house!

Best time ever

The house had pretty much anything you could think of that you would need Beautiful home, large spaces, kid friendly, private beach area. Best vacation our family has ever had. Plenty of parking and the owner always respoded to all questions.

Great location for getaway

Thank you so much for allowing us to use your home for our trip to New York. The place is spectacular with a view that is both beautiful and peaceful. Loved waking up and going to sleep with the sound of the lake just outside. Every amenity was available for use and we felt so comfortable and blessed. Again thank you for sharing your home with us!

Location is as described on Lake Ontario, rural and very quiet. Listing has 3 bathrooms, however only 1 was operational and barely operational at that. This was communicated to the hosts and they sent someone out to check, the repairman informed us that the valves and tank would need to be replaced and that he couldn't do that, so our group of 12 was stuck with only one bathroom to use with barely any water pressure. Then on Thanksgiving night the living room entryway/ceiling began leaking profusely, there were high winds throughout out our stay, but not most precipitation so the leaking was just water from the lake being sprayed by the wind onto the roof. The host and vrbo were contacted about the leak, no one ever came to deal with it or communicated further about it. The lower level of the home has obvious water damage, the walls have the water line markings from flooding at some point, the closet moulding in the bunk room had visible mold, and pillows in the closet had visible mold. The home also had the tell tale smell of mold throughout that the cleaners had attempted to cover up with very strong fragrance and having left windows cracked open. Comforters on beds were dirty. There was also no broom or vacuum, we bought a broom and left it for future guests. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary items for cooking, you must supply your own water for drinking and likely cooking in my opinion too due to the well not having filtration.

Family Vacation

My family and I stayed here for our annual family vacation. We enjoyed sunsets at the beach and swam in Lake Ontario. Please be aware of the property boundaries. The house is close to grocery stores and amenities. The owners were responsive to any questions or concerns we brought to them. We did have an odd conversation/request with the family that was renting the neighbor house, but they were polite and this is no fault of the property owners. Overall a great experience and I would recommend to any family looking for a getaway to New York. Thank you!

Mother Nature’s finest & excellent property management gives you comfort and fun in paradise!

From arrival to departure this experience was a dream. Clean, comfortably furnished, organized with a tastefully decorated interior; this spacious beach house feels welcoming and relaxed. The expansive sand beach and amazing sunsets are breathtakingly beautiful!

Great location on the beach!

Our family had a great weekend on the beach. The kids had a great time kayaking, swimming and building sand castles. The house had plenty of space, and we were so lucky with the weather to be able to have fires on the beach every night!

Ehhh….beach was amazing

Beach was amazing ….there was a blue/green algae issue that gentleman at general store made us aware of…otherwise we had no idea. Downstairs is a basement redone - you still have the basement feel….. Friday night at dinner outside on deck, neighbor (not adjoining house on property neighbor)came over at 730 to tell to “be quiet”. Walk to the beach was perfect , we wish more of us could enjoy the water but the blue/green algae issue did deter a few away from going in lake. Local beach (Southwick) was closed due to this water quality.

Had a wonderful stay

The house had plenty of space and a well equipped kitchen. The family loved the close access to the water and we had a great time exploring the attractions in the local area.

As a large family, we understand the struggle of finding summer vacation properties with enough space to accommodate the whole gang. This property is exactly that- a space large enough and relaxed enough to accommodate large families with kids. The direct beach access allows guests to play endlessly on the beach without the hassle of packing up equipment/toys/people every time you want to get a beach day.
