Summary:

This comfortable home sleeps up to 8 guests, making it a great choice for families or small groups. The master bedroom features a king bed, TV with satellite service, and a private attached bathroom. The other two bedrooms each include a queen bed and a TV with satellite, providing comfortable accommodations for everyone. Both bathrooms offer a tub/shower combination and come supplied with towels and basic toiletries for your convenience. The living area includes a sofa bed, gas fireplace, and a TV with satellite and DVD player, creating a cozy space to relax and unwind. The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils and a dishwasher, making meal prep and cleanup easy during your stay. Step outside and enjoy the large deck, perfect for gathering, relaxing, or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

The Space:

We are surrounded by the beautiful Patoka Lake, offering the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. While the lake is not visible directly from the cabins, we do have walking paths that will take you right to the water. There are also nearby boat ramps, making it easy to get out and enjoy a day on the lake. Whether you’re boating, fishing, or simply taking in the scenery, the lake is just minutes away!

Close to the lake, clean

Great property, close to the lake, lots of wildlife. They were a little weird about wristbands being worn at all times but we figured out that as long as we wore a wristband when walking around the property or swimming in their pool, it was okay. The kids enjoyed walking around the grounds and trails while discovering turtles. It was great to be able to take our dogs and they were very accommodating. The kitchen was well-stocked (even had a mixer and a blender!). The location was very private. All in all - an excellent experience and we will be back.

Thank you Kristi a lot of resort are going to the wristbands just making sure everyone who is here is with us. We are the only people in the area with a pool. This is our first year and will only be during pool season. They have been working our really well a lot of people have like them for safety. Look forward to seeing you guys again. (Ginger)

Went for the eclipse - got two

Check-in was easy, and friendly. Maintenance staff was nice and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the property was clean when we arrived, (although evidence of mice showed up near the end of the trip.) However, we had eight people staying in the cabin, and there were only four kitchen chairs and one couch for seating in the living room. The deck had lots of seating, but we spent the damp or chilly evenings on camp chairs inside. Late on day three all the toilets and showers backed up. A call to the emergency number that night got us some help - the next morning. And that was it. Fortunately, we had family members in another cabin, so we got by for the night. The maintenance man who came in the morning was VERY apologetic, and got us working again after a couple more hours. He was great. Checking out, I actually spoke to the person I had been communicating with by email for the previous several months, and who had answered our emergency call. She asked me if our visit had been nice, "except for the plumbing issue." I told her it would have been nice to know what we were supposed to do without toilets for 12 hours, and she said: " Oh yeah, I should have told you...." I also mentioned pictures had shown twice as much seating in the main room, and she replied that she guessed the pictures were outdated. It's amazing how one person's "who cares" attitude can leave a "sun-blocking" overall impression.

Excellent long weekend getaway!

We had a great time at the Patoka 4 Seasons Resort! The house was clean and spacious, and both us and our dog felt very at home. The staff was friendly and helpful, with some fantastic recommendations for local eats. The house was just a few miles down the road from the state park with easy access to the lake. We'd love to come back soon!

Cabin in the woods

We had 8 in our party and we were very comfortable here. Even the sleeper sofa was comfortable. The staff was so friendly and welcoming!! We will book our group here again next year!!!
