Garden Cottage 82- Sea Salt Cottage

Beautifully decorated, 3 bed 3.5 bath two story townhome style beach cottage conveniently located just steps from The Cottages at Jekyll Island north beach access offers 2 master suites. Open concept floor plan. Fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances and regular-style coffee maker. The master suite is located on the first floor (KING. Both the living area and master bedroom are open to a screened porch with comfortable seating. Large fenced backyard with paver patio and gas fire pit and gas grill. The second floor offers an additional master suite (KING) and a guest ensuite (QUEEN). Each upper bedroom has access to the screened upper balcony. Single-car garage. 4 beach chairs and boogie boards for the kiddos! In addition, guests have access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island's million-dollar amenities, which include Clubhouse, zero-entry pool, fitness, beach deck, beach access and community fire pit.

3 Parking spaces are available. No trailers of any kind are allowed.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.

Great spot to venture out from

What a great find. Perfect layout for our family with one of the more nicely appointed/stocked kitchens we have rented. Location makes it easy to get to just about anyplace on the island in 15-20 minutes.

The location and home was great. The home was very clean and up to date. Internet and cable tv worked as expected. The house has hot water issues. Takes way to long to get hot and then once hot, goes cold for several minutes before hot again. Other than that, a great place to stay

Jeckyll Island get away

The property had all the amenities we wanted. We loved the screened in porch in the morning while drinking coffee and loved the outdoor fire pit at night (the mosquitoes weren’t too bad). The pool was nice when it was too windy for the beach and the fitness room was suitable for working out.

The Much Needed Getaway

This was all around the best vacation! House was lovely, met a few people and doggies in the neighborhood, biked all over the island... just amazing. We will be back! Unfortunately its time to get back to... reality.

Beautiful place with everything you need. Our only and biggest disappointed was the instant hot water that really wasn't. I much prefer a home with a traditional water heater.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family was very happy with our stay. The home was lovely and spacious. There were all the cooking utensils and pots you would need. The location was beautiful. The pool was enjoyed by all. There are limited amounts of garbage bags and dish soap so you should bring some for the longer stay. Also hot water takes awhile to kick in for showers. But we had a great time and are already planning a return.

I saw several bucks including a six pointer who walked through the backyard.i am not sure why, but the tankless hot water heater might have been in some type of efficiency mode. The water in the showers would only stay warm or hot for a very short period of time. The water would then be cold for a period of time before getting warm again. This made for cold showers for us. We sent an email, since the situation was not an emergency and never received a reply to the email.
