Hi Ann, To say the least, we are shocked and disappointed with your review. We don't have any records of you reaching out during your stay with any of these complaints. I have reached out multiple times since receiving your review in hopes of collecting some more info and making this right for you. Almost ALL of them have been glowing 10/10 reviews talking about what an amazing home this is, which adds to our shock and confusion with your review. Glad you enjoyed this beautiful home in the valley area of Durango! It is certainly a staff favorite, and gests love it too. This home is not pet friendly and is clearly noted in the listing and in the Agreement that you signed. I called you twice as soon as I was made aware that there were 3 dogs at the home. The call would not connect due to bad cell coverage in the area. I drove over in order to deal with the issue as I was close by. I don't understand why it upset you that I came in person. When I arrived, I introduced myself and informed you that the home was not pet friendly. At no point in our conversation did you tell me that your dog was a Service dog. Not sure why you neglected to tell me that. Your only option was to find another place for your dogs or vacate the property. I was not rude, angry, or raise my voice. I clearly stated the issue at hand and the resolution. It is unfortunate that you did not read the listing, nor the Agreement.

Thank you so much for your review. Glad you got to enjoy some snow in our beautiful little town. With winter storms, they do sometimes wreak havoc (reported power outage for the area which I sent you the notification) on the TV and internet. Because you only stayed 2 nights, I'm so sorry we were not able to get you back online before you left. The property has heat and most of the time guests have to open the windows because it gets toasty in there. I'm wondering if you just relied on the space heaters and wood stove only - that would make for a chilly cabin. There is a thermostat on the wall where guests can adjust the temperature for their comfort level. Sorry you experienced some dog hair, we love dogs too and I will ask the Housekeeper to pay special attention.

We can not thank you enough for your patience. The front door lock was dealing with swelling and contraction from the heat/cold and the issue has since been resolved. So happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay overall!
