Outdoor fun, close to the beach!



The Space:

Beach Retreat is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house located on a corner double lot. It's also only a short ride or walk to the beach down the direct access road.



The partially covered deck is perfect for sunbathing or relaxing with family and friends. It's fully furnished, including high backed chairs and two loungers on one side; as well as a double chair glider with a table, and two high back chairs with table on the other.



The living room offers two Lazy Boy recliners and a large sectional couch with two recliners. This area is open to the well-stocked kitchen. The large island has ample seating, and you will love the modern appliances like the beverage cooler, coffee bar with both Keurig and regular drip coffee pots, plus all the cookware and storage space you need to prepare and serve meals. This house has the conveniences of home- a washer and dryer, flat-screen TVs with streaming services (in the living room and bedrooms), high speed internet, and even several board games, puzzles, playing cards, Wii and Playstation 2, and several those days or evenings that you don’t want to go to the beach.



With more than 1100 square feet, Beach Retreat can sleep 12 comfortably. The primary bathroom features a California king bed and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two queen beds, and the third offers two twin over full bunk beds. These bedrooms share a hall bath with a shower/tub combo.



The covered downstairs patio is great for entertaining! There are two bar tops with 8 stools, two large built in benches and table, a large picnic table, outdoor swing, and a charcoal BBQ grill (just bring your own charcoal and fluid)! There is also a fenced in area for your dog, and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day on the beach. We know you will love your time at Beach Retreat!



Small dogs (under 35 pounds) are allowed with a pet fee. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.

The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

The mosquitoes were bad on the bottom floor but up the stairs the wind blew all the time and it was great. Our house “Beach Retreat “ was about 3 blocks from the beach. We had a great time riding on the golf cart and making sweet memories with our children, grand children and great grandchildren. Can’t wait to go back next year. Thanks for understanding when we lost our truck keys and couldn’t get off the property at checkout time. Thanks again

Our stay was not enjoyable

Wasnt very impressed for our over all stay. The Ac kept switching to 80 degrees. Making the house very uncomfortable. Took it forever for the house to get cool to a comfortable temperature. Our baby has to stay in a diaper most of the stay bc it was so hot in our house. Called the sweden real estate to let them know what was going on with the temperature but they were no help. Our beach house kept swaying back in forth . I also told them about all the movement the house was doing but they said that was normal. Our last beach house was much higher up off the ground and bigger and we never felt it move. Just dont understand how a house that is much more lower to the ground sway so much!!! Also the listing for the beach retreat house were we stayed did not come with a dishwasher even though the listing said it did. Due to the movement our house was giving, the AC not working correctly and no dishwasher. Our stay was not the most enjoyable. Would of rather stayed sometime else. The entire peninsula was without power for 4+ hours so getting our house to cool was a long process due to it already not being cooled. Overall wouldn't recommend this house to anyone to stay at.

Great Location.

House was great location was also great, old food under the beds and sofa. The AC kept changing to 80-78 degrees in the middle of the night and day (nest thermostat) so not sure if the owner has locked settings. Lights around the porch did not work. The kids loved the gaming set ups. Other than those few things we had a great time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was cute and charming! Very inviting and kid friendly! The layout was in wonderful working order! They provided a book of the rules and what to expect at the different areas. We did experience a problem with ants coming in as well as the people coming to mow without any warning getting our stuff caked with grass! The yard does need some treatment for stickers sooo make sure you have on shoes. The property check in/out was amazing but should let you know when the maintenance/yard people will be coming so you could move your items.

Nice and cozy

Overall, it was a great stay. It is very close to the beach and the house was great. Internet was slow and down sometimes but didn't have much effect since we really on came for the beach. Will stay again in the future. I would suggest that the property manager put out a bigger trash can by the road. Neighbors have stated that the small can that is used needs to be upgraded for the state of the surrounding locals.

Beach retreat

The property was great had everything we needed minus a toaster. We did find some trash in places and found whoever cleans the place does no dusting at all. Even with that we found the area was amazing and the best beach we have been to.

A perfect family home with lots of sleeping spaces!

Last Resort

You should not stay at this property unless it’s a last resort half the dishes were dirty when we got there. The chair in the living room was broke. It was extremely hard to get a reply back from the property manager. Just not a good experience.
