Located 50 minutes east of Pictured Rocks and 50 minutes west of Tahquamenon Falls, our home has just the right amount of seclusion with the ability to experience such attractions as the Tahquamenon Falls, Oswald’s Bear Ranch, Gitche Gumee Agate Shop, Pictured Rocks and the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. U.P. Rentals has all the variety you need to make your getaway a memorable experience.

Whether a couples getaway or a family reunion, there are several options for you to make the most of your northern Michigan vacation experience. Kayaking, fishing, hiking and agate hunting are just a few of the activities available in the surrounding areas.

Excellent Property!

Enjoyed the whole stay, and Owner and Manager were very flexible when we wanted to extend our stay. One little check-in glitch and they fixed it fast and in person. Fantastic experience and location!

Family vacation home base

This property was an excellent home base for the last leg of our vacation in the upper peninsula. The home was great for our family of 6 and could have easily hosted more. The trip to Munising was a bit of a haul at 90 minutes each way, but honestly the draw of the home wasn't where we could go... But where it is... The beach was outstanding. Thank for the opportunity to use your home!

Perfect get away

We had so much fun staying here! The house was a lot bigger than we expected, and the property was amazing. We really loved walking down to the beach, looking at rocks, and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. It was also a hot spot for Yooperstones! We found about 9 in one night. We also enjoyed the many games that were available to us, and watching classic VHS tapes! If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, this place is it!

Perfect house for relaxation and visiting beautiful UP locations

The house was great for our family. Our 3 kids had a great time playing in the house and out on the beach. The kid bedroom upstairs was perfect for them. The beach was beautiful. Collecting rocks was a lot of fun. We were 45-90 minutes from awesome hikes and beautiful sights. The house itself was clean and comfortable. No air conditioning but even on days when it was 85+ outside it wasn’t too bad. When the breeze blows off the lake it’s perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Amazing

Everything about this trip was amazing!!! This was our first trip to the U.P. and let me tell you, we were not disappointed. From the start, directions to the home were spot on. Once arriving to the house we were greeted by a very welcoming and clean house that was fully stocked with all the essentials. While staying at the property, mother nature welcomed us with glass smooth crystal clear waters, gorgeous sunsets and put on quite the show with the Northern Lights. This property was exactly what we needed, when we needed it, and we are already trying to figure out when we are going to return.

Private beach house

This is a wonderful private beach house. The home itself is spacious and clean. The private beach allows amazing views of sunrise, sunset, and a vast array of stars including the Milkyway galaxy.

U.P. Family Getaway!

Our vacation stay was perfect! We had a great week with great weather. The house was perfect, enough space for our 2 families with 4 boys. The kids room was perfect for them. The beach was amazing too. Had a ton of fun rock hunting also. Overall had a wonderful vacation and a great stay at this Vrbo home!

Perfect for Rock hunters

The house was perfect for the family. The kids had the upstairs and parents had the master downstairs. Short walk to the beach. The weather was warm enough a few days to swim and have bonfires. We left with some beautiful agates. It was a nice getaway, thank you

We have owned this Lake Superior home since 2004 and have enjoyed every summer since then in the UP. It was always our dream to own a Lake Superior home and it has been the source of much needed relaxation, connection with nature's beauty and access to some of the UP's most beautiful sites. Our home is peaceful and relaxing which has allowed up to stop and smell the roses (or pine trees) from a busy life. We feel very blessed to have this piece of serenity to enjoy life's best moments in.

We've been renting our home via our site uprentals.com for the past 8 years with many return clients. Our house feels like home and our beach access with 180 feet of beach front gives our clients the feel of privacy and serenity. The location is a centralized location to some of the best aspects of the UP: From Tahquamenon Falls and Whitefish Point to Pictured Rocks and Grand Marais, our home is situated right in the middle for easy day trip access to some of the best the UP has to offer.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Our house is warm and homey. Our large master bedroom with a view of the lake also offers walk-in closet and a private bathroom with a spa tub, shower and his and her sinks. The large bedrooms upstairs each sleep 4 comfortably which allows for multiple families to be comfortable and have a private sense of peace as well. The upstairs bathroom also has a tub and shower to serve whoever is staying upstairs in the house. Our back deck overlooking Lake Superior is screened in and perfect for family meals outside . Our cozy living room is great for family time, playing games, or watching a movie. If you want a place that feels like home, this is the place.
