Lakefront?

This place was gorgeous, spotless, plenty of space! There weren't many steps, which was important for us. I'd give it a 5 if A)it hadn't taken several days to get the outside light to the place lit up(we used our cell phone lights),and B) it's advertised as both lakeview AND Lakefront. The lakeview is true enough, and it's a beautiful one. But the only lakefront we had access to was their boatslip. Think of it as you accessing the tip of one slice of pizza. There were 5 or 6 properties all connecting at the lake with about 5 boatslips.

Misleading advertisement, dock not operational and no marina access.

Aside from not having dock/marina access which was the whole reason for renting this house, we liked that they had a nice DVD collection of star wars ( AOTC was missing, though) and a copy of talledega nights.

Wonderful, clean and well appointed

We were able to trailer our ski boat down from Annapolis and park it right in the boathouse. We had been to Lake Anna several times before but with a much larger group and thus larger homes, so On Lake Time was the perfect solution for the 5 of us (and two dogs). Access to the water is not necessarily swimmer friendly, but we didn't care because we had our boat right there.

Easter Weekend 2023

The house and stay was nice. Great layout of family and greatly appreciate having a place that accommodated our dog. The lawn needed to be mowed and treated for weeds... but this is a tricky time of the year given the weather so we understood. LOCK ISSUE: There was an issue with the keyless entry system on the second day. Fortunately, there was access using a physical key. Thank you for responding and helping us troubleshoot.

On Lake Time

The "girls" had a wonderful weekend celebrating a friend turning 50 in addition to a healing weekend for one of our tribe fighting metastatic breast cancer. We enjoyed your comfortable accommodations and plenty of chairs to sit around and chat all together in one space. The fireplace did not work for our friend that was cold but it was not a huge impact since we were blessed with warmer than normal weather that weekend. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We treated it as if it was our own.

On lake time review

There are many pros and cons about this house and our stay. To begin we arrived an hour early for checking in and I contacted the person that had reached out and she was super friendly and helpful. They verified with housekeeping that the house was ready and allowed us to go ahead in an house early. That was super nice and Convenient for us, especially since we had our 2 dogs and a child with us. The house was clean on arrival. There were a few things we noticed right away that were either broken or not available like the ad advertises. The kitchen sink faucet is broken and doesn’t work very well. The hot tub was broken and we were noticed the day of via phone call it would be out of order our entire stay due to a part being ordered. However we noticed a review from months ago stating the same exact thing. I find that to be ironic and maybe even not so honest. Maybe the hot tub shouldn’t be advertised anymore if there are no plans to fix it. We also paid an extra hot tub fee and have not be reimbursed or even any mention of reimbursement. There was no hammock as stated either. I checked literally everywhere. The master bedroom lighting was terrible and half broken. The trundle bed in the basement was also broken and not available to use. The cable didn’t work the entire time and the DVD player in the basement didn’t work. The cornhole games were nice but the kids one was broken. Also, the grass was super long so it made walking the dogs very hard and picking up after them even harder and it made walking to the firepit or dock very hard too. There were lots of fun games available for all ages which was super nice. Lots of towels, blankets, pillows, and fans available which was super nice. The kitchen was very well stocked with utensils and any and everything you would need to cook, grill, or bake. Also basics like salt and pepper available. Overall the house was nice and fun for our little stay. I would just like reimbursement on the hot tub situation.

Disappointing

Recounting just the facts here. 1. Door code did not work upon arrival. Multiple attempts; wrong code. Had to call Vacasa customer service for back up code. 2. No water in the house. Toilets did not fill or flush, no water at taps. Spent 75 minutes on hold with Vacasa before they picked up to receive report of problem. Local manager responded to email saying would call maintenance but was not able to say when problem would be fixed. We left early; this was not the vacation we wanted. 3. Vacasa offered a refund that involved our paying about $1000 for one night's stay before we realized there was no water. Average night's price for this property is listed as $390, so offer made no sense.

Horrid experience ruined my vacation

Got checked in at 5:20 pm. House was OK. Little worn but clean. A big reason we rented this property was because of hot tub as advertised. When we get there hot tub is in 10 different pieces no water mud inside. Thought ok they made a mistake. We contacted Breanna 30 min from being there. She said no problem will contact maintenance get back with you. Waited 3.5 hours now 930pm no contact we call the 24/7 line. No problem we will make it right reimburse u get maintenanceon it. Decided to stay the night because they will have it fixed by morning. No contact with me whatsoever waited until 10am. Called Emily no problem let me find out. Get a text at noon sorry we didn't tell u but ordered a part won't be fixed during your stay. Had they told me ahead of time that hot tub wasn't working we would've rented something else. Asked for management to contact me. Crickets. Emily kept telling me don't worry someone will reach out to u. No one ever called its now Friday. We left weds at noon . Horrible communication and horrid management skills. They do NOT take cake care of their customer. Only there to collect money. Do NOT use vacasa management. When u have a problem they will do NOTHING for u. My attorney will be sending them notice

Peaceful escape

We spent a few days at this home over our Spring Break . There are a few year-round residents, but the area did not have many people living or visiting at this time in April. The air was almost 100% quiet. It was so peaceful! The home was just fine for our family of 4. Adequate bedrooms and space. With 3 levels, the home was bigger than it appears! We loved the hot tub, and the fire pit! We also spent a lot of time on the upper deck which was nice and sunny! There were a few problems, such as the grill not lighting, and there being no lighter (had to ask from a neighbor). The rice maker was broken. The managers with Vacasa sent someone over to try to fix the grill and brought a new rice cooker! The water pressure was weird, and would spurt out and sometimes stop. But I really just needed to get out of town away from my job, and this house provided that! Did I say how quiet and peaceful it Is here? There is a Food Lion, pizza place Dollar Tree , Subway and Chinese restaurant about 15 minutes away. Otherwise there is not much around, if you are looking for activities. There is the Lake Anna State park, but we didn't visit. Oh, this home is lake side, however , there is just a murky boat slip, and nowhere to fish or get in the water or use a paddle board from the property. Nice home. I can tell the owners / managers are listening to feedback and adding things that others requested!

Perfect Getaway

This was a great spot for a winter getaway. Everything was great! The only issue we had was that the fireplace didn’t work. We wish we were able to enjoy that but everything else was great! We never left the house!

Nice House, Good location

The home was comfortable and conveniently located, would love to go again when it is warmer. Check in was a breeze and management was available by phone. Few things that need attention: 5 remotes - no instructions Fire place - no instructions - could not get it to work More than one dishtowel would be nice, as well as a few more dishwasher pods. Cleaning supplies would be nice, all that was provided was dishwashing liquid. if we are to leave the property as we found it I could have used some other cleaning supplies. Overall the property was nice, but when traveling you don't always carry certain things (cleaning supplies, cling wrap, tin foil etc.)

Would Rent Again

This house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had ample supplies to prepare and eat meals. There were games and videos that the family enjoyed.

Awesome place for couples or for the family

This place is amazing !!!I had plenty of blankets, spacious home comfy bed peaceful neighborhood .the house had literally everything u need for a family but it was just me an my girlfriend they had Xbox old DVD’s game room with darts tennis has grill perfect view speaker for music pots an pans blender for drinks I love this place I didn’t want to go home hot tub was great only think I wanted to use and did was the fireplace I ask for instructions but I didn’t get a response so I didn’t want to blow the house up lol.contact person responded quickly I had no problem I will come back again

Meh location. Meh house.

The photos make the house look bigger than it is. Appliances are cheap. Bring everything you might need, including salt and pepper. Kids loved the foosball table and swimming in the lake, though access to the lake is kind of mucky. They also loved the beach at the State Park. Pleasant to eat on the deck. Nice that it's dog-friendly. Not much to do nearby unless you have a boat. So is Captain Ellis' tour of Lake Anna. The boardwalk is overrated.

Lake house

We thought the house on the whole was very nice. It was clean and had some nice amenities like the hot tub, outdoor tables , games, fire pit and more. Rooms were clean.We were really surprised that a house that slept 8 only had a kitchen table with 4 chairs. There was one dishcloth and greasy pot holders. If that was the case, make it known to bring your own cloth dish towels and beach towels since one towel per person was allotted . There also could have been more rolls of toilet paper for 8 people. There were plenty of paper towels( not good for the environment). We were also surprised not to find any spices to share or even salt and pepper. No other VRBO home we rented was so sparsely equipped in the kitchen of the above mentioned objects. We had six people stay there and did enjoy ourselves!

Beautiful lake

Beautiful, gated neighborhood for walking. Lots of room, plenty of outdoor spaces, clean and comfortable beds. Nice to be able to dock our rental boat at the house. We were there during the week, VA schools were back in session so lake was perfect - no traffic. Dukes Marina right down the road.
