INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom and one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.


E-Checks are accepted for advance reservations at no additional charge (15 days prior to check in). All credit card payments will incur a 3.5% convenience fee.

WONDERFUL!

Me and my husband absolutely loved this place! This condo made us feel right at home. We loved having a huge balcony with a view of the pool and ocean. We will definitely be staying again! The pictures do not do justice on how amazing this property is and how conveniently located it is to all the shops. I highly recommend this place !

Great place to stay!

Lengthy, but I appreciate a good review so I want to share one also. First, we fully enjoyed our stay here! We loved the room, its location, and the amenities at the resort. The room was clean upon arrival & overall we were very happy staying here and would stay again. All new appliances that worked wonderfully & a full kitchen! This room is beach VIEW which means it is across the street from the beach. There is a covered bridge on the third floor for safe crossing which we appreciated but I feel it is noteworthy to mention that while you can see the beach, you are not on the beach. Staying in tower 3 means you can not use amenities at towers 1 & 2 - this was fine with us because we spent most of our time on the beach anyways, but I didn’t realize this until arriving so I wanted to share also. This room is right by the elevators but we never heard anyone outside - felt like we had complete privacy and didn’t hear noise from anyone at the elevators or from surrounding rooms (this was HUGE for us having little ones). This room is the perfect distance to walk to pier park which was super convenient for us. We loved our stay here & would definitely return.

Not "on" the beach, just a view

This condo has a lot to love, and we definitely enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked *except* be warned, no coffee or filters (although we left some there) so bring your own! WiFi is fairly weak if you download or stream video, be warned. Care and attention was definitely given to aesthetics, a cute little place with lots of nice touches like fancy folded towels, but the attention to detail didn't apply to the cleaning. The balcony was covered in many days' worth of construction dust, and we could even sit down without either deep cleaning or waiting for the property rep to come. Everyone who visited to bring pillows or clean the balcony was delightful, but it did take 2 days to get a clean space. So YES, prompt communication, thank you, but like everywhere, short-staffed overall. Our big disappointment was that the listing stated "Beach front" in the title, but you're across the road from the beach, with just a "beach view." Hopefully that language has been edited by now. The view (and early morning noise) is also of construction of a building that will be completed in 2023. Lots to love: The fitness center is one of the best we've ever seen, the pool is awesome, hot tub could be bigger, and beach access (cross the road on a covered walkway and downstairs, about a 5 min walk) is lovely. We'll make your stay easier: When you arrive, park in the parking garage on the north side of the street and use the covered walkway on level 3 to get across to the building, which is also on the north side of the road (across from the beach). Note that you have to scan the bar code both in AND out of the garage, so be ready. The security guards (you'll see them at the pool) are incredibly personable and friendly, and you can tell they care. We recommend walking to Dusty's Oyster Bar one day for a fun experience! Bottom line, we'd stay here again because the location really is great, just poorly described, and the staff were attentive and fixed all the issues possible.
