Beautiful 5/6 bdrm/4 bath, sunroom w/king trundle bed that sleeps 2 add people.
Open floor plan, dining table seats 10. large kitchen island seats 4. add kitchen isl seats 3. Card room seats 4 & living room seats 12.
2 outdoor decks with riverview.
Outdoors: sprawling areas for gathering / playing sports/ 20 ft outdoor area/oyster tables, firepit (wood provided) play areas, gas grill (you fill tank).
Pool *can be heated @ 75.00 a day /lounge chairs/dining tables on pool deck.
Converted 3 car garage to pool house complete with kitchen/bath. Opens to pool area for alfresco dining. ping pong table and other games provided.
Deep water dock w/ covered pavilion. Boats welcomed at no add cost. 3 kayaks avail at no cost, PFD not provided by owner and MUST be purchased and worn by everyone in kayaks as required by DNR. Absolutely no children on dock, pool or kayaks without an adult.
Catch & clean @ sink on dock.
ADT secured, pest control indoor and out provided. Pool serviced weekly. House instructions/staff numbers at front entrance.

To preface this review, I have never had to leave a negative review for a property before and am confused by how this property received so many positive reviews, which are what lead us to book in the first place. Pros:The property itself is peaceful, beautiful and has many unique features like the dock, marsh and access to water. Cons: The house itself. It is very run down, dirty and broken. Perhaps when they first started hosting at this property, things were different and that prompted the previous positive reviews. However, on July 31st, 2025 when we checked in, the property was in disrepair. For example, broken and loose door handles, outlets and towel racks, holes in the walls and flooring and not functioning appliances in the outdoor kitchen ( the stove and sink). It was also generally unclean with stained furniture, dirty trash cans and pool. It was also lacking basic necessities like trash bags, hand soap in bathrooms and hangers in closets. While the host was initially cooperative, she became rude and condescending as we continued to communicate and untimely left for vacation.My family made the best of it, as we had no choice traveling from out of state with ages ranging from teenagers to 85. However we were severally disappointed with the rental, especially at its price point of over 1000 a night.

Perfect Stayc

We planned a "staycation" for my 50th, our youngest son's 18th birthday and Mother's Day which all fell on the same weekend. Our experience could not have been better! I would definitely recommend...10 out of 10!!!

Great space for large group

We had a great time! Our group consisted of 9 men. All of us are on the larger side so sharing a bed was out of the question. This house had enough beds for everyone and they were all comfortable. I've stayed in places that had beds that were worse than the couch. That's not the case here. There's 4 bathrooms. We had plenty of space for everyone. Everything you need is there, literally. They have crab traps, fishing poles, kayaks, pool floats, etc. If you need something Deedee is very quick to respond and meet your needs. We needed an extra large pot and a propane burner to make Lowcountry boil. Deedee made sure we had it! The house is really well placed for the privacy that you want but not so far out that you're isolated. The fancy shopping center just outside of Kiawah is about 5-10 min drive away. Downtown is about 30 minutes away. Great property for large get togethers.

Complete relaxation!

This home is all about location, location, location! So peaceful and the view is spectacular. Right outside your backyard is a pier to the river where we crabbed, fished, and kayaked. We were instantly in vacation mode! There were plenty of bathrooms (4 in the main house) for everyone, plenty of room to spread out, and less than 10 minutes to a beautiful shopping/restaurant area. We will definitely be back!

We are a group that needed individual beds for 8 people and this property provided that for us. It's a bit of an older house, but well kept and on a beautiful piece of property. The house was clean and provided us with all we needed. Thank you for the stay!

My sons wedding rehearsal.

We had a great time and everything was set up very nicely. We had 4 couples and a small rehearsal dinner for the wedding. The weather was sort of cooperative. Would definitely stay again.

Upon pulling up to the house and seeing the view that we got to look at for the next few days, it was amazing. The sunsets were remarkable. The weather was perfect. The house was fully equipped and everything was clean and accommodating for my whole family. I couldn’t ask for a better place to spend time with our loved ones.

Wonderful family vacation!
