Spotless, lockbox checkin, easy communication with host. Nice size rooms, laundry downstairs. Quiet neighborhood. Short ride to Narragansett beach and entertainment. Would definitely rent this home again.

peaceful soft landing

This place had everything we needed. It is in a friendly quiet nieghborhood and a close walk to coffee shop and restaurants. You drive 10-15 min to Scarborough beach a state beach open to the general public. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place for a weekend getaway

Stayed for the weekend and had a great time. House was perfectly clean and perfect size for a few friend's to hang out. Perfectly located a short drive away from local beaches and the owner is very helpful and easy to reach/communicate with. Had a great stay!

Quick visit to Narragansett

Perfect little house for me and my sis for our first visit to Narragansett. Easy drive to everywhere we wanted to go. Dan, the owner, is very responsive and easy to deal with. Would rent again.

The house is in a perfect location. Very clean. The only reason I gave it a 4 is there were no paper towels,hand soap, back up toilet paper etc things that really should be provided. There also was no shampoo or body wash , which I guess isn’t something I’ve ever seen but not a deal breaker! Dan was very nice but if he provided these simple things it would be even better!!

Simple and Good location

Dan’s place is in a good location if you are looking for a beach vacation. The place could use a few more amenities, such as extra toilet paper, a tea kettle, a few cloth dish towels and batteries for the tv remote. The beds are comfortable and Dan is quick to respond.

1st thing was how quite it was there.

Small issue with the timing of the cleaning crew but rectified immediately and our stay was great. Only thing I would change would be a coffee maker rather than a keurig other than that very nice place.

Awesome!

Dan was great. Super friendly with great communication. The house was so cozy and relaxing. It was set up extremely nice and he made it feel like “home” . The house is extremely clean! This was our very first time renting a small beach house for a weekend and in all honestly when we decide to do this all again. we will be coming back to Dan. The house was just so great as well as Dan and another feature that we loved was the small deck in the back. We loved sitting out there at night, very quiet and peaceful. We absolutely loved it here. I did speak with Dan over the phone and through text a few times and made everything very easy! Again, we will be back! Thanks so much!! We really did enjoy our stay!!

Narragansett Summer Bungalow

Usually these come with the basic necessities. I didn’t appreciate having to purchase batteries for the remotes. Basic spices in the kitchen would’ve been nice. The cleaning crew was doing their personal laundry there when I showed up for check in and took all the detergent. Would’ve been nice to get at least one load before having to go to the store for more. Cleaning crew showed up at 9am trying to rush me out when our checkout was clearly set for noon.

Nice!

The house is as described. I stayed over the weekend for URI Family weekend and was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and clean the house was. Lots of natural light and the rooms are spacious. I imagine during the summer it's even better as it's a short drive to the beach. There were several restaurants close by as well.

Nice place close to the beach.

We enjoyed our stay here. It is an entire house on a quiet street, clean, and a short drive to beaches. As others have noted, it is oddly lower on supplies than most vacation rentals--notably, things such as shower items and toilet paper.

Okay Rental

The cleanliness of the house was the biggest downside to the house. We had to supply our own toilet paper and paper towels, and we had to wear house shoes the whole time so we didn’t get our feet dirty from the floor. There were little to no cleaning supplies, so we also had to supply those. The hand soap that was there was an empty bottle with a splash of water in it. Overall, it was a place to stay and and did the job, but we were turned off by how dirty and bare bones it felt. We wish we knew this going in. Additionally, you’re not in walking distance to any beaches.

Good stay but had some concerns

Overall we enjoyed our stay in the attractive and clean house in a nice neighborhood but there were the following issues. The lack of dressers for our week’s supply of clothing was annoying. The “grab handle” in the tub/shower came out in our hand when we tried to steady ourselves with it. This was dangerous. A fire extinguisher should be in the kitchen since the stove has an open flame. The posting made reference to beaches being available within 5 minutes but these nearby beaches are private. Beaches open to us were a 20 minute drive. On a hook in the kitchen were two town beach passes for 2021. A set for the current season would be much appreciated by renters. Having said all this we did enjoy our stay and especially liked the deck a great deal

Simple vacation home with all you need

Good location as it was 10 mins from Narragansett beach and less than 30 to downtown Newport. Quiet street with nice neighbors. Near to convenience stores and pizza and ice cream. Simple, but all things needed for a small family vacation. Kids enjoyed new TV. Washer/dryer. Owner was responsive and helpful.
